He smiled, glad the place still remained standing. He pushed open the door, hearing a scream from the beginning of the town. At first he thought nothing of it but his mind jumped to conclusions. The creatures who burnt down his home had come to devistate this one. Obviously he was wrong but he sprinted towards his horse nevertheless.

He raced through the town, pushing people out his way. He reached his horse and struggled to find his breath. He quickly mounted and nugded it towards the entrance to the village. Within a few minutes of the entrance, he drew his sword.

Raine was there before him. Standing before her was a man in his late 30's maybe early 40's.He had long pink hair and red eyes that glared hatefully at Raine.
She continued to hide her face from view.
"What a surprise. Come to save the people who betray you Raine? After all you know very well the life of a half demon."
"Tch." Raine muttered. " Still the same as ever I see Uncle Richie. How's the welfare of my esteemed family anyways? Especially with all the assasins I killed." She smirked.
He glared. "die Laraine Lockner Risk." He blasted demonic energy at her.

Samuel stared in shock. He gazed at the strange man, at his bright pink hair and red eyes. He slowly averted his eyes and noticed Raine. What was he saying? He clenched his fists and dismounted, creeping towards Raine.

He crouched down low, ducking behind a wall. He watched, horrified by the gaint ball of energy. He took a deep breath and made himself known, his bright eyes glaring at the man.

Richard blinked as he threw the energy at Raine. "Who the heck.."

Raine brought out her wand, transforming it instantly into a crystal sword, she surrounded it with demonic energy and swung her sword, cutting the blast in half, instantly dispersing it. Then she turned to Samuel who had stood from his hiding place and was staring at Richard.

"Samuel, you shouldn't be here.." Raine ran over to him, but as she did Richard took this chance.

"Die Half Breed" He fired energy that Raine could not dodge, It hit her hard and she sprawled to the ground. Her once hooded face revealed now pink hair and purple eyes in pain.

Samuel growled at Richard, defending himself. He wasn't going to be moved easily. Whether or not the man was the cause for his homes destruction or not he didn't care but he wouldn't let another village fall victim even if it killed him.

"I'm not leaving.." He shouted, cut off by the sudden blast of energy at Raine. He cringed as her eyes shown pain. He didn't care that she was the one on the wanted poster, he wanted the man out.

"You'll regret that." He snarled, knowing the strange man would most definitly kill him.

"Oh really? I will? What a strange man, You have no part in this. This is between family members boy. Leave before you make a enemy out of the entire Risk Demon tribe." Richard hissed, drawing as close to Samuel as he would allow. Then he pulled back, a good distance away and smirked as Raine stood up.

"Ah my dear, still got some fight in you I see. Mother prefers you alive, but I would rather see you dead."

Raine gathered up her sword from the ground and held it before her towards her Uncle.

"Grandmother would want that wouldn't she?" Raine growled, her own demonic energy rising as the energy wrapped around her sword.

The pink haired demon once again turned to Samuel. He narrowed his eyes. " I see, kindred spirits then.." Smirking at the boy, he held out his chain.

"Samuel look out!" Raine called, trying to stop Richard, but too late as the chain flew from his hand towards Samuel at a harsh speed.

Samuel glared, not showing his fear. He muttered something under his breath and hold his sword up against his shoulder.

He had no clue why they were fighting but had gathered they were family. He watched them carefully so if he needed he could move out the way.

"What the?" He yelled, taking a step back and flying backwards towards the wall. He winced as his body felt numb from pain. He tried to get up, feeling pain drive up his back, causing him to cower.

"Samuel!" Raine turned to him. But as she heard Richards laugh anger began to build up inside her. "You jerk" she picked her sword up from the ground and launched herself at her uncle. Her sword intended to pierce his body but he dodged. Instead he kicked her hard into a nearby tree. She weakly stood up, and as she did her eyes glowed a dangerous red.

He growled, clenching his teeth as he leant forwards. Samuel took deep breath and tried to push himself to his feet. He waited as his eyes eyes focused before standing. He felt himself saw from left to right, stumbling a little.

"Like I was saying, you'll regret that." He muttered, picking up his sword. His could feel his knees about to buckle at any moment.

Raine glanced back at Samuel, who seemed to be unsteady on his feet from the blow that Richard sent him. She cursed and let her demonic energy flow from her body. "Leave me...alone!" She exploded in a red light, the demons around her flying into trees. Richard himself was getting back on his feet from being sent quite a distance away. Raine took this chance and ran over to Samuel. "C'mon we have to get out of here. These people only want me. They wont hurt anyone else as long as they don't get in their way." She almost saw the hidden anger in his eyes, that's when it hit her. "I don't believe these were the people that attacked the village." She added. She glanced behind her as Richard strode towards them, his chain ready to attack. Raine stood in front of Samuel, gritting her teeth.

He couldn't force himself to believe that the man wasn't guilty of destroying his home. He couldn't, wouldn't, believe.

He turned as the man strode towards them. He lifted his sword, showing he was prepared to fight until every last breath was knocked from his lungs.

"Raine. I can handle this." He whispered, though he knew he couldn't.

"You're insane." Raine looked at him in disbelief. "Do you think you can kill him? No one has gone against them and survived..."
"Except you my dear but that is only because our blood is in your veins. This boy has a much of a chance as.. Well.. You know too well what I mean." He smiled that sadistic smile.
That made Raine's blood boil. Her anger overcame her and she attacked him with her sword. He held out his chain and stopped her attack. "You'll never beat us all Raine. Not alone at least."

He glanced between the two of them, wondering what he had meant by 'This boy has a much of a chance as.. Well.. You know too well what I mean.'. He took a defencive stance, standing his ground as the man edged closer.

"She's not alone." Samuel growled, reminding him. He dived forwards and swung for the man.

Richard growled at them both as Samuel swung for him. Richard was still holding back Raine with his chain and didn't dare release the chain yet. As Samuel's blade cut through him. He pushed against his chain, sending Raine sprawling to the ground. He jumped back from them both, checking his wound and smirked. "Nothing major. But you are an idiot boy." He sent another demonic blast towards him. Raine got up and ran towards the blast, grasping her sword and standing in front of Samuel, holding out her sword and swung it, trying to cut the energy in half. But for some reason it wasnt working. She blinked and pushed her sword again.

Her sword cracked. Her eyes widened and she was thrown back into Samuel by the explosion that occured.

Samuel grinned, pleased with his minor success.

"One part brave, three part fool." He smirked. His smile vanished as another blast flew towards him. He gripped his sword tightly, his knuckles going white. "Raine!" He yelled as she swung for the energy. He stepped back, soon feeling himself flying through the air and landing on the ground.

"Raine..?" He muttered, glancing un front of him.
