Name: Morrigan Cahdera
Gender: Female
Age: 53
Race: Elf
Appearance: Morrigan stands 5’8” and has a somewhat frail frame. Her skin is a soft pale color and her eyes are normally heavily made up and crystal blue. Her hair is long and naturally white, but she occasionally dyes it a more "natural" color .
Preferring to wear very striking clothes that at most times seem unpractical, she’s able to bear the pain of stilettos and other accessories for the sake of fashion. Her outfits normally consist of low décolletages, corsets, high-heeled boots, and tight, black pants.
Personality: Born Emmanuelle Thane, she is convinced she is the reincarnation of an ancient sorceress named Morrigan Cahdera— at least, the bodily reincarnation. It is her life’s goal to somehow become her predecessor, although it bothers her to no end that she does not have the plainest idea where to start.
Morrigan (she refuses to answer to her given name) is a cunning and deceitful woman willing to do anything she must to achieve her goal. She’d lie, steal, even kill.
Alienating the ones she had, she has absolutely no friends. Deep down, she’s hurt by this, but she’s too driven to give it much thought.
Breaking through her shell would be a daunting task, not impossible, but most would rather not be around long enough to try.
History: Adopted and raised by wealthy Elven scholars, education was a high priority in Emmanuelle’s upbringing and she consumed knowledge almost as food. Her foster parents making sure she had a well-rounded education, she is well-read in almost all areas of scholarly pursuits. Morrigan’s one love, though, was magic.
Entering the most prestigious Elven school of magic at the time, Emmanuelle has spent the last thirty years of her life studying her art. During her second year in the school, she came upon a book mentioning the sorceress Morrigan Cahdera, the of the North. Along with this mention, was a picture of the legendary sorceress who had tested the bounds of existence. Long story short, it astounded her.
It was an exact, perfect rendering of her own, living self. Simply being a descendant of this woman could not explain this outrageous phenomenon! It left only one plausible answer, reincarnation. As crazy as it first sounded to her, Emmanuelle did some research and found that some of the most brilliant, magical minds had come to believe reincarnation possible if certain rites and rituals were performed. Convinced by what seemed to her proof, Emmanuelle continued to learn her art and later left the school at the age of 50.
Coming to see Morrigan as her rightful name, she abandoned her family and her remaining friends. She struck out into the world with a mission and a new name, Morrigan Cahdera.
