Zorro looked out at the trees of the forest, he sighed for this new land would take some getting used to. The dragon got up and squinted his eyes as the sun beamed through the tree's at him. He wondered if he would meet anyone here, shrugging it off he walked along, not really in the mood to fly today. That was very odd though due to the fact that he loved to be up high. Of course being so small and young he did need to get his rest, he'd been flying for a long time so decided it was time to walk for a little while.
Stopping Zorro found a small patch of leaves and sat down on them, he could wait here alone still. His thoughts drifted back to his parents, remember watching them get killed made him cringe. And then being in the same building that his parents pelts were. Knowing that he was in the same hands of the men that had killed his parents. Shuddering at the thought he curled his wings tight around his small form. He was so glad that that centaur had helped him get free, he would never be mean to any centaur and even try to defend them if he could. But humans, they were the ones that chained him up and let others of their race poke and play with him like he was a mere statue. He could remember the cold chains that went around his mouth and legs. All those horrible memories had brought him to hate the humans, even though some could help him he didn't care, not anymore....

Birds stirred as Talon, also known as Derek, approached. He gave a low growl as his feet pounded the ground. Stopping just short of a smaller Dragon, he stared at it knowing it didn't know he was there, yet anyways. Not trying to be startling.
"Why is such a young Dragon out in the middle of a forest?" Talon said, his voice rough, he was giving off a light haze of what appeared to be black fog around his body. Making him look like a moving shadow.

Zorro glanced up as he heard a voice speaking to him. He uncurled his wings from himself as he looked up at the stranger. "My parents got killed.........by humans." he said in a shaky voice. He hated remembering the thought of that day. Sighing he stared up at the figure, eyes curious yet in need of some help.
He waited his tail staying curled around himself as he waited for a reply from the stranger.

Talon let a low growl at what the young dragon just said. "Humans hmm. Those creatures are normally not hostile to us Dragons." He said unaware of the younger dragons past, and trying not to be aware of what would happen.
"This forest isn't safe. Especially for one so young. You'd have a better chance staying alive in the tree tops then down here." Talon stepped closer, letting the shadowy fog fade only slight for the Smaller Dragon to notice he was speaking with another Dragon.
His black scales glistened slightly in the sunlight as he crouched on all fours to study the younger one.
I don't have much care for Black Dragons...but this one intrigues me. he thought.

Zorro listened to the other creature's words with a tilt of his head. He nodded his head with a feeling of relief as he saw that the creature was another dragon. He nodded at his words, glancing around the forest as the older dragon spoke of dangers. "But with you here, i'll be safe right?" he asked with a slight smile, as he looked up at the other dragon.
He stepped closer, as the the other dragon crouched, almost falling out of the tree as he did so. He laughed slightly at his stumble, before his curiosity took over. He leaned forward, curious about the older dragon for he had not seen another one beside his parents.

(hope you guys don't mind if I join this. It says open so I decided to post if you want I can delete it)
A girl stumbled through the forest, looking every which way but in front of her. She struggled against the vines, roots and various other obstacles in her way. She gazed back and her heart clenched. It was them, they were going to kill her. Branches caught her dress, tearing multiple lengths of fabric from it as she scrambled to escape her pursuers.
"Get back here!" A male voice yelled and she trembled from fear. She had to find some place to hide, anywhere. She cried out as a root caught her foot and she was sent sprawling to the forest floor. Tired and weak, the girl almost passed out from sheer exhaustion. But the noise of her pursuers kept her from losing consciousness. She struggled to stand, her oddly colored silver eyes taking in everything around her. Her heart pounded frantically in her chest and her mused shoulder length purple hair blew slightly in the small wind.
"Found you, you filth!" a man in his late 40's stood before her. Gasping, she took a step back, afraid of what would happen. She saw the dagger he held in his hands.
"No!" She screamed and took off running again, only to come face to face with two dragons. Her eyes widened and she halted instantly before her, letting out a small squeak. "Dragons!" she said, rather bluntly. She frantically looked around, then to the dragons. "Get out of here! If they catch you here you'll be killed!" She heard the leaves rustle from behind her and she swallowed. "Oh no..." She turned to face the mob that had followed her through the forest for just one thing.
To kill her.Pr

(( Jump-in. Hilarity will ensue soon. Conditions for above RP-er true. ))
There were people ruining the forest. His home. Gadrai was among the trees, hearing the mob run on through. They were, in fact, persuing someone, not caring for the animals they stepped on, and the bushes and whatnot they hacked away. "The forest has thy name in revenge!" And with that, he pulled the bow off of his shoulder, and notched it, pulling the string far behind his own head, unlike any other archer. He also held the bow sideways, not vertically.
However, having aimed at the mob man at the front, his awkward shot proved effective as he managed a perfect shot through the man's head. There were another three left in hot persuit of the one being chased, but if he wasted little time, he could take care of them, and the two stragglers. "Thou shalt not defile the womb of the earth!"

The girl gasped as she heard the sounds of agony from behind her. She turned to see one human after another fall from arrows. She blinked and looked around, trying to determine where the arrows came from. "Who is doing this?" She whispered softly. Just then she spotted the area the flying arrow came from as the remaining few humans fell. She raced over towards the tree. "Thank you very much!" she called up.

He heard the woman beckon up to him, and he looked down, tilting his head. "One knows not the speech you make. Is it of man?" And while he was saying that, he was putting his bow back behind him, clipping it sideways into a small little wooden device on his left hip. "And furthermore, One's pursuit lays in mystery; one I dislike all too much. My ears crave an explanation." And he looked at be questioning, and a bit stern. It was almost obvious he was looking for answers, hoping she understood him; because he couldn't understand her - though he was somewhat willing to learn.

The girl blinked as he spoke. She tried to catch what he was saying, since she too knew very little of the elfish language. However, he didn't look glad to save her, more than likely expecting an explanation for why she was being chased through the woods, disturbing nature. She sighed softly and tried to think of the right words to say to him. "I..." She looked up into his eyes. She spoke the only words that were the truth and he would understand.
"I.." She pointed to herself, speaking in Elfish. "Witch." She looked out. "People kill I."
Because she was so different, the people of the town had formed a mob to kill the person they believed was destroying their town, the witch. Witches had been called evil beings but she wasn't one of them. Her mother taught her the wonders of white witchcraft. But the townspeople didn't care. She could never go back there again, her home was gone. Still she smiled back at the man who saved her. She bowed in gratitude, it was the only way she knew how to convey her thanks that he might understand. She straightened herself and smiled. "Thank you again." She replied in human speak. For, she did not know how the elfish said thanks.

Her accent was rather heavy, not to mention a bit unclear - but understandable. He nodded after she spoke, and actually smiled. "Witches are an emissary of the earth, So you and I are allies." And he held his hand out, as if to imply a handshake - meaning every single sense of it. "Gadrai is my name."

She blinked as he spoke more words to her she didn't understand, yet she knew from his smile and stretched out hand he meant her no harm. She smiled back and took his hand into her own, shaking it gently before releasing it. She noticed that he said a name, probably his own. She quickly took the chance to say her own name.
" I Fiala, Fi ." She smiled. "Fi for short anyways. I hope you can understand that." She looked back at the town, then back over to him. "I need a place to stay, do you know of any? I'm sorry I cannot speak those words in your language." " I home no more.."
She sighed. " I hope he understands that...%Pr

Gadrai gaped. She was homeless, and his shock was unable to be hidden, despite having a strong capability to hide his emotions. The name bit he picked up, and that was the basis upon which they could actually communicate a bit easier. He then narrowed his eyes, as if to be in a bit of regretful thought, but soon shook his head, as if to condemn some thought. "You have no home? Then please, follow me - I am sure I can find help for you." And then he held his hand out, and his body suggested that he would take the lead; and appeared as if he knew where precisely he was going. He had a slight smile; one that looked more than happy to help, but knowing he would take a fall of some sort - if one looked into such a detail, that is.

Fi smiled at him as he held his hand out, seemingly ready to guide and help her. She still didn't understand much of what he said, she only knew a few choice words, and those were almost gone. She tried to grasp meaning from the words he said, but as they started to walk, her weariness started to come back to her body. She had run for so long that it was catching up. Nevertheless she followed him determined to find a new place to call home.
"Thank you Gadrai." She said with a smile.
((kay, lemme know where you moved us to!))
