Name: Ainutsa Ladyre
Age: 17
Race: Elf
Physical Description: She has small, pointed ears like the Elves do. Her default appearance is a simple blond hair, green eyed young woman. She has a dancer's build, but with a full form and no taller than 5'4". Her silky hair falls to mid-back and isn't evenly cut.
She has the ability to change her form. It is an ability in progress, so she can only change her hair, eyes and skin, not her height or Elven form yet. She tries to progress the ability, but her necklace interferes too often.
Her clothes are home-made but in a unique way. She had normal clothes in her grandmother's cabin, but those have stayed there. She makes her clothes by magically manipulating the forest's raw materials and bonding them into clothing. To that effect, they are surprisingly well made clothes that do not offend the eye. They are made to allow a full range of movement, seeing as she is trained in the art of weaponry to a fair extent.
Necklaces: She has two necklaces. One was found on her person and she assumes it was her mother's, so she treasures it. Its delicate design is elegant and deceptively strong. It does not break; Ainutsa has tried before. It does not come off either. It is small enough to not fit over her head and is strong enough to not break; its chain is continuous with no known or viewable clasp. It rests just below the curve of her collar bone. This necklace is somehow related to her powers; it often limits what she can do. Its connection to her past and to her powers is mysterious and often frustrating to Ainutsa.
Her other necklace was given to her by Reixou, an Elven Scarlet Wraith who was once a Night Elf. The necklace was found by Reixou in the ruins of Qua'elai, the once grand city of the Night Elves. It is one of the only things Ainutsa has from where she should have grown up. It is carved out of beautiful stone that reacts to the moonlight. It rests an inch or two below her mother's necklace.
Personality: Her personality is light, fun, and warm-hearted. She is not so open to people, but she is very sincere in everything she does. She is a listener, an observer and a learner. Her curiosity is an incredibly strong force; it defines most of her actions.
However, there is a rather unexpected side to Ainutsa. She can be very fierce. Not as fierce as her wolf friend, Faolán, is fierce, but her righteous anger can be a force to be reckoned with. She knows this and tries very hard to keep a reign on her anger. To this end, she is not angered easily and can keep a rather cool head in most situations. When her powers activate while she does not have a cool head, it often ends up with her necklace interfering; bad things happen when her necklace interferes.
She is a warrior. Her defense mechanisms are quick and strong. They are strong from experience, though few of those experiences she remembers. She dislikes violence and will stop at little to prevent it from happening. Violence brings up images of her past, the past that she hides herself from.
History: The memories before Ainutsa was eight are dark, painful memories that her mind has hidden from her for her own protection. Her necklace seems to factor in to this block as well. This is the time where she was brought up by adoptive parents. She remembers a few things here and there, like the fact that they were kind and not her real parents, but her mind does not allow for more. Her birth parents are unknown to her; she does not even know what they might look like.
Her grandmother, a wise, old, and powerful mage, raised her until Ainutsa was fourteen. Her grandmother had found her in the middle of the forest, white, still, wide-eyed and covered in blood. Ainutsa does not remember this and her grandmother did not share the details. The bodies of her parents were not found, though she assumes they are dead.
Her next clear memories are waking up with her grandmother by her side, soothing her and helping her recover. Her grandmother taught her many of the things she knows today, some things Ainutsa's body knew from before, she simply had to recognize them again. This mentoring went on until her grandmother died, leaving fourteen-year old Ainutsa alone in the forest.
For the past three years, Ainutsa has lived her life in the forest, continually practicing and living. She has learned to take energy from the forest so she does not have to sleep; her locked memories haunt her in her sleep and she always wakes up with another night mare in her mind. She has recently begun to venture outside of the forest. She feels there is more for her to learn; she needs to grow further. She wants to find her past, without the haunted memories.
Companions: Faolán is the first daughter of the wolf clan in her forest. She is Ainutsa's friend and ally as well as a leader who has the respect of her entire clan. Her connection with Ainutsa is special and unique. Her eyes have turned the same color as Ainutsa's and her mannerisms, such as her sleep schedule and intelligence level, have changed since meeting Ainutsa.
Likewise, Ciar, her hawk friend is in a similar situation. His eyes have turned Ainutsa's color and his mannerisms have changed as well. He is the strongest and fastest of his kind; he has great power in the forest and he rules the skies.
