Personality: Somewhat benevolent and EXTREMELY curious, he tries to not create enemies when he can avoid it.
Physical Description: Tall with muscled build (though at first glance its hard to tell). Always wears a cloak of an ancient and lost fabric sown with shadows giving him the appearance of being cloaked in shadow. From under the hood you can see a slightly lined chin and smile with a neatly kept beard. In his right hand he carries a glowing soul crystal mounted on a knarled wooden staff.
History: Korvin was born many many years ago in a world now lost in time. He grew up with his father (his mother had died during his birth). His father was very interested in temporal magick. When he reached manhood he joined his father in research. Eventually they mastered it but they got too thingyy. One experiment backfired killing his father and hurtling him into a time rift which took him to another dimension.
It was in this dimension he found his cloak of shadows. As the years wore on he perfected his time magick and branched off into the study of shadow and soul magick. As he stole demons souls he sealed them in his soul stone to be summoned as he wished. He soon tired of this dimension and decided to return to his home. Little did he know centuries had passed in his home world. As he stepped through the rift that he created through several days of of focusing his power, he stepped out onto the side of a dormant volcanoe. From there the rest is history.
Weaknesses: Somewhat weak against elemental magic for he has no elemental control. He is also extremely vulnerable to any kind of hand to hand combat. If you can get in close you have a very good chance of killing him.
Magick: He uses temporal, shadow, soul control magick.
Temporal: Uses to create a time distortion which renders items bak to there base forms or corroded beyond possible use. Can also open small rifts which if not careful can remove the odd arm or leg. Can only control one rift at a time.
Shadow: Completely defensive. Uses to summon deep pockets of shadow to impair vision of attackers or to allow him to move unheeded.
Soul: Summon demon minions whose souls he has trapped in the crystal. When he encounters a demon he uses the crystal to trap its soul.
