Profile
Name: Jen Li Name Meaning: Variant of the name 'Jennifer', meaning fair one. Gender: Female Race: Human Age: 20 years Birth Date: 5th Day of the 4th Month. Class: Warrior Element: Fire Alignment: Uncertain Occupation: None Spoken Languages: English Voice: Her voice is deep, almost to the point of sounding masculine. More often than not she speaks softly, but no less assertion is emitted than when she speaks loudly. Her voice is a clear indicator of her current emotional state, however, it can be hard to read through the rage, despite her mood. Though she talks very little, she does make herself out to be a very angry and hostile person whether she speaks or not.
Weapons of Choice: Katana - A curved, slender, single edged blade, with a squared guard, and long grip to accommodate two hands. Jen's blade was made to be especially light weight to enable her to easily and comfortably hold it with just the one hand, but it makes it no less deadly. Mythic Kusari - A weighted short chain weapon that is closely-related to the kusari-gama in application. It is a close range weapon, approximately 18–30 inches (46–76 cm) in length. It is constructed of a non-reflective etched steel chain. This flexible weapon can be used to strike, snare, or entangle an assailant or their weapon, potentially to disarm, disable or kill attackers without bloodshed. It is released at extreme speeds due to the pressure of the coiling process that takes places when it is wound into the mechanical, hidden device that Jen has in place of her right arm. Hidden Mechanical Device - Concealed beneath the tattered sleeve of her Yukata, in place of her right arm, Jen has acquired a unique weapon that can be used for both defensive and offensive actions. Its sturdy, heavy and durable shell is strong enough to deflect most attacks, working effectively as a shield. Despite its weight, Jen has adapted to moving at high speeds with this device attached and can even activate its effects while on the go. For its offensive attributes, the mechanical device houses a number of specialized, destructive weapons; the Kusari being one of them. Mainly the device acts as a high pressured mechanism that launches chains attached with various heads at great speed to either impale, grapple, slice, pound or cleave individuals as well as objects. Armour: Arcane Corselet, Gauntlets and Shield - Despite appearances, Jen is nearly always protected by armour, in particular she wears powerfully enchanted armour, giving Jen Li full protection in battle. The Corselet is type of foundation garment which is a brassiere and girdle in one. Worn under her Yukata, Jen receives consistent and secret protection when in battle. Possessions: Wooden Pipe - The only thing remaining from her village. Although Jen does not know who the owner was, she has kept it with her ever since finding it amongst the charred remains of her home. Its more sentimental than anything else, but she does use it from time to time when she has the right ingredients.
Battle Techniques: Mawarikomi - A risky technique that requires swift maneuvering to sneak behind an opponent to attack with a direct strike. Suzuran - A unique technique that allows Jen to strike viciously, swiftly at an opponent with the sharpness of a blade. Tsurane Sanzuwatashi - A rapid, direct tension three-hit slash combo attack that damages on the spiritual, physical and vivacious basis of earth, heaven and man. Youzansen - A mid-air technique that involves a full revolution and a swift swinging action to cause physical damage to opponents.
Physical Stats: Health - Pretty healthy, it's possible that she could take a few blows from an average opponent and still remain standing. Mana - Not actually worth mentioning and Jen has no real desire to use any magic even if she has learned about their damaging abilities through first-hand experience. Armour Class - Pretty decent for a Human, but skin is easily cut, flesh is easily bruised and bones can still be broken with enough force. Power - For a Human, this power is truly superior and is even very strong for an Ork, not to mention being fairly good for a Werewolf. Agility - It would be an understatement to consider this the speed of professional thieves, she would just be a natural. Her elegance, nimbleness and agility are also excellent. Endurance - Has the health and the stamina to potentially catch the plague and survive. She could endure much, even take a sound beating without breaking a sweat. Truly superhuman. Intelligence - Though not really all that intelligent, she would be considered average, but she appears wise beyond her years. Willpower - Jen's ability to withstand torture and temptation has been built upon greatly with the new willpower to resist anything she chooses. Influencing magic spells would be useless on this mind and even silly to consider using on her at this stage. Charm - Average in looks and lacking in manners and charm, but there has been thought that there is a certain something about her that is desirable. Magic Attack - Not even worth mentioning, since she is a Human and has no desire to learn magic, her magic abilities are practically naught. Magic Resistance - Has the ability to withstand some magic spells, but she is still susceptible to much damage.

Appearance
Height: 194cm or 5'4" Weight: 45kg or 99lbs Build: Athletic, muscular build for a well-rounded physical structure. Dress Size: Size 12 UK size, 40 Euro size. Bust Size: 36C UK size, 82C Euro size. Hair: A peculiar shade of red that looks almost pink now. It appears to get more and more faint as she ages, almost as if she were growing older more swiftly than she should. Her hair is also very long, exceedingly so for a warrior who needs agility and dexterity in her battles, but Jen refuses to cut it any shorter. She does her best to restrain the great mass, but the length of her fringe makes this difficult and is always left hanging in front of her face. Eyes: The one that is visible is a warm medium brown shade, the other shares its characteristics with that of a cataract. This eye is damaged beyond repair and since Jen doesn't enjoy the sight of it herself, she keeps the eye shut more often than not. Complexion: Fair to an olive shade in its colour, her skin represents many years of struggle and strife. It has many scars, some old and new, and always expresses signs of damage. Her desire to do battle is mainly the cause for this, making it rare to find Jen without some kind of bruise, lesion, scratch or red mark somewhere on her body. Distinguishing Features: The tattoo on the right side of her face is a very prominent physical feature, not only because of its size, its location or because of its bright colour, but because of the illusion it creates with the scar on her left. Of course this scar is also quite distinguishing, labeling her a cyclops wherever she goes. The loss of her right arm is also quite distinctive, there certainly aren't many people in the world with these disabilities. The amount she wears her one Yukata has probably become a Trademark in itself and those that have heard about the One Armed Cyclops would instantly recognise her. Manerisms: Jen moves with confidence, despite her inner insecurities, but almost always her movements are characterised by her extreme mood swings. This external visage that she creates for herself acts like a shell to protect her vulnerabilities. It is clear that she relies on attack being the best form of defence. Jen also suppresses as much as her femininity as possible, seeing it too as a sign of weakness. As a result she has few manners and even less concern for others' perceptions. Although her tom-boy ways and fiery passion has a certain amount of charm, she wouldn't be winning any beauty contests anytime soon, but she seems just fine with that. There is a certain amount of elegance in her movements, but rarely outside of battle. Attire: Her favourite clothing is a Yukata she obtained almost three years ago. In that space of time she has certainly grown into it and is on the verge of overfilling it. Despite not liking her chest on display all that much and the attention it gives her, she still has sentimental feelings toward the adapted Yukata and would not like to part with it. Instead, she does her best to have it repaired whenever possible as it's almost impossible for her to do it herself. The Yukata is primarily cream-white in colour with panels of black and red for distinction. The whole item is made out of a soft, lightweight cotton. There are red shapes on the back and lower sides of the garment that look as if they are tributes to the lost sun. The right sleeve is tattered and slightly shorter than the left, possibly damaged by the effetcs of launching chains at high speeds from her hidden device. The robe-like gown is drawn together in the middle by a length of red material that is embellished with pink flowers. In addition to the Yukata, Jen wears arm and leg protection with colours that match the garment. Her choice of footwear is sandals that are neatly connected to the guards on her legs for security.

Personality
Best Quality: Her passion, her determination to do what she feels is right and necessary has to be by far her greatest quality. Regardless of what it is, if it is important to her, she gives it her entirety. Since all battles are important to Jen, she never flees and would sooner see defeat, even if it were to cost her life. Greatest Flaw: The down side of being so determined, passionate and proud is that Jen doesn't allow herself to do many things, and that could end up being detrimental to her existence. It's an easily criticized point about her personality, but no amount of shunning will ever change her mind. Strengths: Jen's mind is always wandering and she prefers to have an opinion on everything. She's not all that smart, but she knows what she needs to and is willing to admit she has her faults. She is also willing to learn from her mistakes and become better, but she can be proud about certain things and this is often an obstacle she has to overcome. She has much enthusiasm and her passion in what she believes is right will influence her decisions greatly. Jen may never admit it, but she would help a person in need, even if it didn't somehow benefit her. She would also do what she could to help Maia, but just as long as it doesn't hinder her progress in finding and defeating That Man. Weaknesses: Although sometimes a gift, her frustration can cause her to do things that people are not so approving of. Easily enraged, she can get into fights over petty things and isn't always the victor. The fact that her rage can get the better of her so easily is considered by others to be a deep character flaw. Jen is also swift to rush into decisions and judgements, choosing to hit first and ask questions later. This can sometimes backfire, but she does enjoy the hitting part a lot. She's not that much of a genius and doesn't have the pretty face or the lack of self-respect to ask for help, even if she needs it. Her pride will almost always stand in her way and her vulnerability will always leave her a hostile, solitary person. Desires: Jen's desires lie in wanting self-earned strength and the opportunity to use that power against That Man and send him to his death. In doing so she wishes to finally be at peace and return to the loving arms of her family. Motivations: She is motivated only by her revenge, there is nothing else that keeps her moving, nothing else that keeps her heart beating but her desire to avenge her family and herself. Anything that can promise her strength and to further her goal, she'll accept. Fears: Jen fears not being able to live up to the potential that people continuously preach about her having. Half the time she believes their ideals to be a lie, a fairy story they designed to express a false sense of modesty when they beat her. Despite that, Jen fears not being strong enough to attain her desires and to feel that she has wasted what little life she has on a dream. People constantly tell her she's not strong enough and as a Human, she never will be. It would kill her to find out if they were right. Likes: There is very little that she actually does like, tolerate, put up with... However, she does enjoy peace and quiet most of all, especially if it means being away from irritating individuals. Dislikes: As opposed to her liking very little, she dislikes plenty. Pretty much everything that isn't listed as a like, is almost always something she would not be able to like, tolerate, put up with... Quirks: On very rare occasions does she enjoy people's company and does prefer drinking with others rather than by herself. With that said, drinking games and gambling are a natural possibility and Jen does enjoy the competition. In addition to her quirks, Jen has a strange fascination with peculiar art work, possibly due to her Mother's fanatic quirks as well as the paintings she used to be surrounded by in the Church of Aleesha.
Sociability: She cares very little for anyone she comes across and carries a hostile attitude with her whatever the circumstance. As a result, it is difficult for her to make acquaintances, let alone friends and neither is she the type to want to make them in the first place. She's not afraid to jump into fights, even if they are petty and pointless. She's also not afraid to disrespect any figure of authority or people that are more powerful than she is and often sees them as more of a challenge than a threat. In that respect, she has a sort of positive mind and even though she fights for petty things, she also fights with passion for the things she believes in and rarely, the people she cares about. Jen sees no point in making friends, believing that they will potentially slow her down or that they’re just pointless to have around. Her pride won’t allow her to do many things, especially when it comes to accepting help from people as she wants to gain things on her own. Strangers already offer their help without expectations, friends would therefore only want to do the same. Although she may not be able to control the actions of others, she can have a certain amount of control by choosing not to have any ties to people. The less people there are around her, the less she has to be infuriated by them.
Other Facts: * Her favourite colour is Orange. * She can not swim and avoids expanses of deep water. * She spends a lot of money on seamstresses. * She dislikes small, dark spaces. * She spends a lot of time in blacksmiths and forges, repairing and improving her mechanical device. * Her favourite drink is Ale, finding drinks like Mead, Wine and fruit juices too sweet for her liking. * Her diet consists of a lot of meat, breads, noodles and some vegetables. * Her favourite food is Chicken Noodle Soup and she enjoys a lot of fragrant, spicy foods. * The teleporters make her very nauseous. * She has a somewhat sensitive sense of smell and likes the fragrance of Jasmine the best. *

History
Hidden between the towns of Westborne and Dusk, just passed the Morzon Rainforest, a colony of Humans collected together and stood as an unofficial trading post between the two large cities. Originally the colony had began a few years after the Human Empire had settled into the towns, and the colony quickly opened its arms to all passers by, welcoming in travellers who ventured widely across the world with little to no prejudice. Although business wasn’t perfect and the discrimination only grew as the Humans themselves got wiser, they decided that for as long as the gold was coming in, they were satisfied enough to keep their voices low and their heads down. Of course with the very little experience that they had in the art of battle and defending themselves, they had very little choice.
Very soon it became apparent that their chosen destination was not particularly all that inhabitable. Although the vegetation was lush with food and water in plentiful supply, the Human settlement found themselves unwanted by the creatures that were native to the forest. The attacks on the make-shift village from roaming animals made the people anxious and fearful, very soon talks began to set up their fort elsewhere. Perhaps as equally as threatening was the presence of the Morzonians and Orks that steadily began to force the human settlement eastward, closer to the town of Dusk. Though the people were unhappy about it, they accepted the change and by the year 960, they were situated directly South of the town of Dusk and just west of the newly established town of Diadem.
In the year 1043, one child in particular was born by the name of Jen Li. Her mother and father, Kit and Huo Li, were overjoyed by the arrival since Kit Li was significantly older than her husband. As average members of the community, they had focused their time managing the needs of others, working side by side until Kit Li fell pregnant. Naturally they were surprised by the news and with it being their first child; the couple focused every possible instant in making sure their child would be born healthy and happy. By the time Jen Li was born, the two continued to focus their attentions on their only daughter, doing all they could to educate her in the short time that they had.
Huo Li’s skills weren’t all that honed in the way of combat since he taught himself how to hunt and fend off monsters with his slender, single edged blade. However, he was an expert craftsman and with an artist’s eye, made exquisite pieces of furniture that were both practical and beautiful. It appeared to others that watched his work that this man had Elven ancestry because of his elegance and artistry, but Huo felt their assumptions were absurd; he was simply practised and gifted. The man held true to his ying and yang qualities, at least, until it came to educating his daughter. Neglecting to teach her the ways of battle because he feared it was too violent; Huo concentrated on teaching the infant about the beauties of world instead, while his wife reinforced those teachings.
Life in the little colony was peaceful for a very long time, though some dire news came through on the mortal traffic, little changed in the idyllic settlement. That was, however, until a band of unsavoury characters began to frequent the place. Their presence put everyone on edge, their behaviour was intimidating and they appeared to have no other incentive than to cause chaos and fear. When it came time for the leader of the settlement to ask the gang to move on, everyone was surprised to see these men go with very little fuss. For a while, the colony regained its peace and their confidence grew with each passing day that the gang was absent. Though, it would not be the last they would see of them.
A few weeks later in the year of 1052, the band returned with a vengeance. Slaughtering the inhabitants of the colony, they sought to burn the place to the ground. Being as protective as they were, Huo and Kit tried to save their only daughter by storing her away in one of Huo’s cabinets in spite of Jen’s reluctance to be parted from her parents. At only the age of nine, she already had great courage and will and even while she had no idea of how she could help, she still wanted to. Despite her fear, her pride and enthusiasm, Jen Li sat tight in the small dark space and tried to force out the sounds of screams and loud crashes that roared like thunder all around her.
Fire raged just beyond her family’s home and she had seen its power with her own eyes as it climbed relentlessly toward them. Jen had seen it for herself, the fear that blocked out the light in people’s eyes. Those people that had rushed passed her previously were clearly terrified, clutching their loved ones in their arms as they attempted to flee the massacre that seemed inescapable. Nevertheless, her parents were determined to keep her safe and she did what she was told. When it all went silent, Jen clutched her knees in tightly to her chest; her breathing heavy and erratic, but her curiosity soaring like a newborn eagle. Swallowing her fear down deep into the pit of her stomach, Jen reached forward to slowly push the door of the cabinet open. Carefully, she looked around the door, hesitant to see what lied beyond before she cautiously climbed out of the tiny little box.
Her feet quickly found their way to the ground, touching down gently at first before bolting back to the safety of her body as she heard a sound. Jen took a deep breath and composed herself again, the silence tore down her resistance rather swiftly and soon enough, her feet found the earth once more. Hearing very little noise other than a soft commotion outside, Jen was encouraged to keep going and crept toward her door. As she approached, her body seemed to shut down in an instant. All energy, all motion, all blood and oxygen was halted in the moment her eyes took in the view before her and her mind absorbed the image. When that instant passed, tears began to fill her eyes, never ceasing and spilling rapidly over the rims of her eyes.
Jen forced herself back into the house, wanting nothing more than to curl up in a ball and disappear, to make this all a nightmare. Although she could not immediately recognise her parents amidst the chaos, those bodies that lay dismembered across the dusty ground were enough to scar her. Blood streamed in great supply and as it ebbed and flowed round obstacle, it was absorbed by the ravenous earth. What the ground did not consume, the flames chewed up, gnawing voraciously on the fractures corpses of those people who once lived beside her. Seeing red, Jen’s deep brown eyes fell upon her father’s hunting sword and although she remembered the words of her father, forbidding her to ever touch his weapon, Jen’s mind raced with hateful and malicious intent.
Taking the sword, Jen moved with confidence passed the wreckage and the bloodshed, her eyes keenly focused on the band of men that stood proudly amongst the carnage. When their attention was returned, Jen ignored the jeers and the laughter and stood dead-still before them all. Amusement and intrigue seemed to flow swiftly between the ranks until the largest one of them all stood out from the crowd. Clad in black, he stood like a sinister tower over-looking the puny girl who opposed him and yet, Jen remained unmoved. His laughter then shook the ground like a vicious quake, and he pointed, mocking the foolish human girl who stood determined, sword ready in both hands as she was about to unleash fury. Jen, however, never gave him an instant and charged wildly without warning. Sword held high and eyes bolted shut, she ran as fast as she could toward her target before stopping, suddenly.
Cautiously, she peeled back her eye lids to see the man’s dark and gnarly face grinning back to her. An uncomfortable and crushing pressure then began to exert itself on her right arm and Jen screamed as she began to struggle, doing everything she could think of to get free. The man refused to let go, however, and none of Jen’s wriggling and crying could persuade him otherwise. Light fractured off a metal object somewhere behind his head and Jen’s eyes opened wide as she identified the object as a blade, raised high above his head and preparing to fall. Jen closed her eyes and as if in slow motion, turned toward her right, ducking her chin in beside her shoulder as if to hide. Then it came without mercy, the cold, hard metal sliced viciously through flesh and bone, severing the arm while the tip of the blade cut a vertical line through Jen’s left eye. Loose from his grip, the child’s frail and broken body fell onto the dust and into the darkness.
The colony lay in ruins and what remained would quickly succumb to fire until the long standing memories of that Human settlement were but a black mark on the face of Maia. With their task completed, the band of men left the area satisfied that they had been thorough in annihilating the small civilisation. The young child they had left to bleed to death was too insignificant to appear as a threat at the time, but in their ignorance, they had begun a hatred that would seek to destroy them. Buried inside the little girl’s heart grew a raging darkness, though only as her mortal soul began to slip away. However, had it not been for a wandering Priest’s curiosity, a Cleric by the name of Nibtrep Poltureit, the young Jen Li would have been lost forever.
Taking her in his arms, the Priest motioned quickly to return to his Temple in Diadem and begin the healing process; though he had very little faith in her survival. He had seen it for himself, the brutal way in which that entire village was slaughtered and even though the rage had boiled in his veins, he knew he was powerless to stop it. A voice, then, spoke to Nibtrep and inspired him to proceed regardless of his own doubts. Although he had been a Cleric under the Goddess Aleesha for many years, this had been the first time he had heard what he thought was her voice, spurring him on to save this small child. Feeling his faith rejuvenated, Nibtrep and his followers worked through the nights and the days which followed, desperately trying to save the girl.
It had taken a week, but they had succeeded. Combining the healing powers of their faith with the powers and the knowledge of the Elven civilians, Jen Li’s chances of survival increased until she was finally stable. She had lost the use of her left eye and her right arm had been severed near the top of the Humerus, the bone of the upper arm. These wounds were serious and if the Cleric had not have come when he did, they would have been fatal. As a result, all of the civilians of Diadem considered this girl’s survival a miracle, though they differed critically on the origins of this miracle. Given that this city was built on the beliefs of The Myriad, each church under the Gods and Goddesses quarrelled and claimed that it was their own Deity that led to Jen Li’s survival. In the end, the debate was stopped and it was decided that since Nibtrep Poltureit had found the girl, she would remain in his care thereafter.

History ContinuedIn the years that followed, this proved to be a lasting mistake of the people of Diadem. Jen’s rage and ferocity; even as a young teenager; was a force to be reckoned with and even the Cleric of Aleesha, Goddess of Wrath, was having trouble managing her. They had butt heads in many instances and although the pair seemed to detest one another as much as anyone can hate a thing, Nibtrep saved her from any real harm on more than one occasion when she got under the skin of beings more powerful than herself. Also, with Jen Li’s rage around, Nibtrep felt that she had enough anger for the both of them and began to mellow. In order to continue this catharsis affect, the Cleric had to inadvertently become a source of irritation while also trying to control Jen’s rage. Naturally, this was difficult and the more Nibtrep tried, the more angry and impatient Jen became. It quickly became apparent that they needed another solution… When Jen Li became strong enough and more efficient with her one arm, Nibtrep decided it was time to focus her aggression in a more useful manner. He knew that Jen’s whole world had become about hatred and vengeance and he knew that in time, he would be powerless to stop her from leaving the safety of Diadem and hunting down the man that had taken everything from her. So in light of this, he decided that he would do all that he was able to prepare her for the inevitable battle ahead. Their training began in hand-to-hand combat that quickly became a course for concern. Naturally Jen was unable to keep up with this form of fighting and she lacked the discipline to continue on in spite of her short-comings. Consumed by failure, Jen Li ran away for the first time, but it wasn’t to be her last and each time it would take days for the Cleric to bring her back, and then encourage her to start training once again. The road was long and it was bumpy, but Nibtrep was determined. Eventually, Jen Li became accustomed to his way of training, the unique fighting style, the sword handling; even peculiar dance methods that were designed to make her more elegant, but it did irk her all the same. When things got too heated, however, she’d return to her quarters, slamming doors on the way, yet ultimately she would revert back to her training and the Cleric. Life began to get a little easier, but the schooling did not bring the pair any closer together, if anything it just seemed to make it worse. Jen Li took what she could get from the Cleric and ignored him the rest of time, though he wasn’t the only one she ignored. The disciples that Nibtrep also taught were keen to avoid the stroppy teenager, even if they could easily over-power her in a fight. What they avoided was much more frightening than power, it was her acid tongue and relentless enthusiasm. Jen might go down easily enough, but she was quick to return to her feet and she had enough determination and passion to outlast them all. A week or two before her sixteenth birthday and all hell broke loose inside the stone walls of the Church. In a fit of rage, Jen stormed out of the building and out of Diadem, her mind set on never returning. The reasons for her sudden flight seemed uncertain, and no one but the Cleric and Jen Li ever understood the true reason of why she took off that night. Still, the important fact remained at hand, that she had left, appearing to never return. The world beyond the idyllic city of Diadem was dangerous, though Jen coped surprisingly well. When she eventually progressed through the Dreaden Mountain range her path inadvertently led her toward the city of Cullvorn, which at the time, was still a thriving Human capital. Here, and after settling in with an old Blacksmith and his son, Demarcus Barton, Jen Li spent a good portion of her time. Demarcus aspired to be just like his father, though the old forger did little to encourage this. Reminding her of the Cleric in his stubborn ways, Jen decided to spur him on instead and even set the creative, ingenious young man a challenge. Jen Li dreamed to be a successful warrior and avenge the loss of her loved ones and to do this, she needed the perfect weapons. With her disability proving to be her greatest obstacle, she asked Demarcus to make her a device that would serve as her right appendage. The task then required not only the skills of a great forger, but the wits and creativity of a mastermind and in his arrogance and determination to prove himself worthy of his father’s respect, Demarcus accepted the challenge and got to work. The relationship between Demarcus and Jen began to grow more and more complex as the pair aged and spent increasing amounts of time with one another. Though, Jen refused to return the affections of Demarcus and planned to leave as soon as he had completed his work. She had no time and no patience to deal with silly little games of love, though tried to break the news as gingerly as possible as to not hurt Demarcus’ feelings. Although she wasn’t as in love with him as he appeared to be with her, Jen still cared enough not to break his heart. It was clear then that despite her anger and her hatred, there were still parts of her that were human and ached to care. She might not have allowed herself to act on these feelings, but there was no denying that they existed. On her seventeenth birthday, Jen was given the gift of the completed device and was instructed on how to get the best from it. Demarcus had made it as fool-proof as possible while being efficient too. The device worked on a simple idea, much the same way as a grappling hook does, but with much more power. Consisting of a chain and a razor-sharp hook, this multi-purpose tool could be used to help cross dangerous gaps or deal devastating blows to agitated enemies. The device is mechanised to shoot the chain at high velocities as well as reel in the chain afterward, though not quite as quickly. Working on a trigger system, though, Jen still required her left hand in order to make the device work and it was sure to take a lot of practise to improve on her accuracy. Nevertheless, Jen Li was ecstatic to have her unique weaponry and Demarcus finally got the praise and respect he had wanted from his father. Feeling her work completed and her time in Cullvorn coming to a close, Jen left without a goodbye and began travelling south again. Jen Li followed the well-trodden path that scarred the face of Hymore until she came upon Hashem, a Human village of scattered resistance and relentless fear. In their isolation, the town had become prone to insistent assaults and the residents there feared any traveller. It almost felt like a ghost town with each fearful occupant locking their doors and pretending they weren’t home. Jen wasted very little time here and marched on to Duskarn, yet another Human settlement. Here she got a different reaction. Seeing Jen Li as the crippled human girl that she was, they were quick to throw down their guard, though hardly welcomed her into their village with open arms. They appeared just as hostile as she was, perhaps because of their arrogance, but they offered to make Jen appear more threatening, to assist her in the way of being a warrior. Although a little hesitant, Jen agreed and was soon accepted into the ranks of the Duskarn warriors with her new tattoo that was as unique as she was. The men were right and it certainly made her appear more intimidating, more like a serious warrior. Painted in bright red dye, the symbol curved part way around a circle that was engraved into the middle of her forehead, before it began its descent over her right eye, mirroring the scar to her left. Like the letter J on its own, though backward, the dot in the centre of her forehead appeared like a third eye. The tattoo seemed to have a peculiar, illusionary effect when looked upon, and its shocking red colour has the influential ability to draw in the eyes. Although it reduces her attractiveness, it makes her appear vicious and unapproachable, just the way Jen likes it. With pride in her new aesthetic eminence, Jen’s confidence began to quickly soar and time alongside these bold and brash men pushed Jen’s femininity down even further. The benefits to her were immense, however, they helped co-ordinate her new device with her already founded fighting techniques. So at the rate of losing possible beauty, Jen gained new skills and a more ferocious visage that helped her be taken a little more seriously. Time in the town of Duskarn served its purpose for Jen, though she couldn’t see herself spending anymore time here than she needed to. When the Comet struck, the people saw it as the end of the world and chaos quickly erupted from the terror. Even as they survived the initial crash, they knew that whatever remained would be in upheaval and all laws, promises, traditions, treaties might be badly affected. In this time of panic, Jen felt it best to leave the cities and take refuge some place else, somewhere more solitary and uninfluenced by the world. She couldn’t allow herself to worry about what the Comet brought, what it meant, her only concern became keeping herself alive. She refused to be turned to ash or mercilessly slaughtered by the insanity that encroached quickly upon her. Praying with Aleesha to see her through the worst of it, Jen began to travel South-East towards an abandoned stronghold known as Redpool. Redpool was once a great fortification built by the Humans in the war against their neighbouring Elves. It stood as an impressive stronghold with sheets of steel and iron guarding the front of the building. Unscalable by enemies and easily defended, the Humans who guarded this fortress were pretty much untouchable, that was, as long as they remained inside. Unable to leave, frightened into staying put, the inhabitants slowly and surely starved to death leaving their frail, thin corpses to litter the stone floors. Despite all of its benefits, Jen couldn’t see herself remaining here. The smell alone was enough to make her and truly the place was uninhabitable for anyone who wished to hold onto their meals. Within an hour she had left that place, seeking greener pastures beneath the filthy grey skies above her. Crestfall City laid ahead as the nearest place of shelter, but from what she had experienced already she was very reluctant to head there so soon after the chaos had began. Too fearful to head North as well, Jen hovered between Redpool and Crestfall, honing her skills while trying to survive. Since the Comet, even the creatures of Maia had become fearful, attacking anything and everything that they felt was a threat. Although Jen did not like the idea of killing those creatures when they thought they were defending themselves, she knew she had no other choice. The experience they gave her, however, was invaluable and as she lashed out in a furious rage, the Goddess looked on, smiling down at one of her most precious creations. They both knew the day would come where she would face off against That Man and with Jen’s training becoming a daily thing, her chances were only certain to improve…

OOC Notes
Ok, I think that should just about do it. Sorry if it's a lot more than you were expecting, I think character sheets are important in displaying the character when roleplay is unavailable. So yeah, that's Jen Li in a nutshell... Enjoy!

Approved. For future characters, please keep to one post. It is tedious to read all of this and it takes some of the mystery away in an actual roleplay.
