The Murderer Al-Dan Zei will be taken to the prison within the Dermûn Desert where he will remain until he will be executed.

My Story…

To start with, I am innocent.

I am Al-Dan Zei. A prisoner. On the run. I was being escorted through the Dermûn Desert towards a big prison within the desert. When the caravan stopped to set up camp for the night, I managed to escape. My guards were not watching me that well as they were very tired from the long trip through the endless sand.
They had put me in a tent and in the blackest of night I managed to sneak past them. When I was out of sight I ran for it, faster than my legs could carry me.

It was horrible. I was in the desert for weeks and I had to feed on wild animals which weren’t too tasty. Luckily I had my Fire Magics to fry them… Haha…
Anyway, after weeks of traveling I came across a traveling party who were on their way to Tamasha Village. I tagged along and they gave me food and drinks. I regained my strength and I was damn lucky they did not recognize my outlaw face.

In the traveling party was another mage as well. His name was Gerbrandt and he was a Water Mage. We talked a lot about magic and other things. He asked me why I wore simple clothes instead of a Red Fire Robe. I answered I had lost mine on the way and Gerbrandt gave me a new one to replace my old one. He had even taught me a Cure spell, until then I only knew Fire spells. A cure spell surely could come in handy.

After months of traveling we finally reached Tamasha Village where I left the group. I walked through the village and was shocked to see some wanted posters with me on them, hanging on some walls. My hood was covering my face, so nobody would recognize me that quickly, but still I had to be on guard.

I rented a room, under the name of Mr. Bishop and stayed in Tamasha for a few days. Then I decided it was more healthy to get out of town, and out of trouble. I bought food and supplies and set out for many great adventures to come. Armed with nothing but my Fire Magic, my fists and my mind.

I’m an innocent fugitive, on the run until I have cleared my name.

But I am ready. Ready for anything.

SKILLS, STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES

MAGIC

Zei is a talented Fire Mage and has a lot of knowledge about fire magic, from simple fireballs to a great wall of fire. Though he will most often stick to Fireballs. He can also alter weapons. For example, making a sword a fire sword.
He also knows a Heal Spell, but he is not very good at it. When he gets serious damage, he will need medical assistance or other skilled healers.

SHORT BLADES

Zei can handle knives, daggers and short swords, but he can't handle long blades at all. He refuses to use other weapons, unless he really needs to. As said in the MAGIC part above, he can power up his blade by making it a Fire Blade. Though he doesn't do this a lot, and he hasn't always got a sword with him.

FISTS

He can do some hand-to-hand combat, though it's not his speciality. If he can't use his magic, for whatever reason and he has no weapon to fight with, he will try his hand-to-hand skills.

-Al-Dan Zei is resistant to Fire Magic, though it can hurt him, but not as much as other magics.
-Al-Dan Zei is very weak to Water Magic.
-Al-Dan Zei is not a skilled swordsman, but he knows enough to win regular duels, but when it comes to his Fire Spells he has a bigger chance to win a duel.
-Al-Dan Zei is not good at fights against multiple enemies, but he is better at man-to-man combat.

A ROGUE OR A MAGE?

Al-Dan Zei was a rogue in his younger years. He sneaked a lot and thieved a lot. He used short blades at the time and kept practicing with them even as a Fire Mage. He later discovered his talent in Fire Magics when he came across a Fire Mage named: Alfred Donder. Alfred taught him the basics and Al-Dan trained himself from that point.

Now he combines both styles, that of a Rogue and a Fire Mage. That's why he's called a Rogue Fire Mage.

PERSONALITY

Al-Dan Zei is a diplomat. He tries to end conflicts in a peaceful way first before going into battle. He is a friendly man and he will protect the innocent at all costs. He is willing to sacrifice himself for others. When it comes to battle however, he turns into a cold warrior. He will do his best to overcome his enemies but he will let them live at the end of the battle, unless he really has to kill them. He is not a very emotional man, he sometimes acts cold, but often friendly.
