Name: Taithon
Age: 20
Race: Human (Cursed)
Physical Description: Lanky with eyes and wiry hair that extends to the small of his back, Taithon is a runaway child, fleeing from a family that doesn't understand and a community that won't. His is barely muscular, with long legs and a vicious claw mark across his left side of his chest where he was attacked by a wild beast. His eyes are bloodshot and have the constant appearance of fear. His ears taper to a point for no racial reasons and his nose shows signs of being broken numerous times.
Personality: He avoids physical contact with anyone and everyone he meets, unsure of what will happen if his skin comes in contact with them. He shy's away from large crowds, found in civilization only when it is necessary. He prefers flight over fight and is angered easily.
History: A few days after his 19th birthday Taithon was attacked in the wilds by a mysterious stranger with hooked talons. During the assault, Taithons blood was mingled with the mans without either of them realizing.
Returning home, Taithon explained what had happened to his parents, but upon contact with his mother, his body split askew and skin was ripped from his flesh, revealing underneath a ghastly beast, with bulging flesh, hooked talons, an elongated face resembling a dragons head and long, thin legs.
Bewildered and frightened, Taithon fled from the scene into the forest.
Through experimentation on animals around him, Taithon found that when he came into contact with other creatures, his body would violently convulse and erupt into a new form. Much like the legends he had been taught in church, the human body repulsed the creature a cast it from its form, thus the soul was shoved into the new form, creating the same consciousness in a different life form. The priests had called it "Cursed Manifestation", thought to be a form of Gods Wrath. Despite his larger strength and speed, the longer he was forced into the form the more painful it became as the soul struggled to return to a human body, thus after transformation, 3 hours would pass until he could return to being human. It crossed his mind that he might be able to hold it longer but even feeling the wrong blood coursing through his veins disgusted him so he only allowed transformation when it was a life or death situation.
