High up in a Old Tree in the forest, A Boy sat on a low Branch Peacefully as he whistled, Or more like, Hummed, a Tune that he found to be catchy some days before he came to this part of the woods.
The sky was into Overcast with some Thunder clouds threatening the already murky sky. A Light Wind was gently blowing through, but the boy in the tree was not Threatened by it at all, as he continued to hum his Song.

Lucine ran through the forest as a fox, her usual appearance. She ran so fast she just barely dodged the trees that threatened to throw her off balance. Lucine suddenly heard a very catchy and peacefull tune. It was wonderfull and it seemed to draw her ever closer towards the sound. She kept on going, just to get closer to it. Lucine then transformed into a squirrel as she got closer and ran along the ground until the sound was very close. She tried to see if she could spot where it was coming from. She came out of a bush and looked around. She looked up and to the right and saw a boy sitting in a huge tree whisling happily. She swayed her body to the sound and moved ever closer
Lucine ran up the tree and sat on a branch opposite of the boys. She looked over and continued to sway peacefully to the tune. She didn't know him, but there seemed to be no reason to be afraid of him. So she continued to sit and listen. A few minutes passed and he hadn't noticed her. Probably because she looked like any normal creature dwelling in the forest. There was nothing strange about her. Not that she though he could tell anyways. She just continued to listen.

Brandon smiled as his Whistling, and Humming attracted a Squirrel. He was no regular Musician, but He didnt whistle out of tune or anything.
He stopped whistling for a Moment as he looked over to the Forest Creature that was listening to his song. Still somewhat suprised, He spoke "Well Hello there Lil One... Heh, You liked my Whistling eh?" He asked the Squirrel. Not knowing if it could reply to his question or not, He smirked, as he went back to whistling a bit. The Tune, seemed to belong to a Elvish Folksong, though it was difficult to tell at best, since He wasnt a Professional Whistler.

When the boy answered back, Lucine thought it would be fun to suprise him. She shapeshifted form a squirrel to a barn and looked at him with her round eyes. She hooed to his tune, she was just trying to freak him out. She wondered about him. He had such white hair...why? He didn't look old. She thought. Lucine was always up for a joke on someone. He seemed nice enough that he would kill her if she suprised him. Lucine laughed in her mind and just continued to play along with her joke.

Brandon was somewhat Suprised when he saw the Squirrel Shapeshift into an . When he did see this happen before him, He stopped whistling his tune, and he gave the a somewhat Serious, but a bit Playful, Look at her. "Hmm... Shapeshifter are ya? Mind shifting to your true form, and telling me your name?" He asked, as he sat up straight on the branch. Balance was not an Issue for him, since he Pratically grew up in the trees.

Lucine discovered that he was much smarter than she thought he was. He knew she was a shapeshifter right of the bat. What kind of fun is that. He could have at least played a long for a little bit longer. She smired as the and then shapeshifted back into normal old Lucine. The five foot one warrior looking shapeshifter/summoner. She smiled widely at him revealing her pearly whites. She still whistled though and remembered his tune. Lucine looked over at him and looked him over. He was strong in appearance, but cute. She smiled. She wasn't so tough all the time, even though she looked it. She stretched out her hand to him and whistled again. "The name's Lucine. You can call me Lucy if you'd like. I was just walking through the forest when I heard your whistling...I was bored. Haha." She said waiting for him to shake her hand. She wondered why he was out here in the first place. But then again, he must be wondering the same exact thing. It was none of her buisiness what he was doing out here.

Brandon was Suprised to see that the Shapeshifter was infact a girl, but he still smiled all the same. He wasnt quite used to seeing other People that werent Elves, let alone shapeshifters, but he decided to go with the flow as he gently took her hand, and shook it slowly, cautious as to not hurt her.
"My name is Brandon, Nice to meet ya Lucy... And you heard that ol' thing eh?" He said, as he greeted her, still smiling. He looked her over, though it didnt exactly show. He found her... Intruiging, to say the least.
"So what Brings you out here Lucy?"

Lucine shook his hand and noticed how strong of a grip he had. A grip to match his muscles, that's what she thought. It made her smile even more that his hand was warm and strong. She wondered so much about him, why did she have to be so damn curious? She looked away for a moment, her shyness showing a bit. She moved her bangs out of her eyes and then turned back to him with a composed smile. She was getting nervous now...damn her. She blinked more than she should be and she was having trouble balancing now. She tried her best to compose herself. Lucine listened to him as he spoke, his voice matched his body as well. Awesome. She judged he was in his twenties and was very determined to be strong.
"Yeah, I did. It sounded nice." She said with a smile, glancing away again. He looked straight at her. He was kind and brave she could tell. Most people these days weren't exactly the nicest and she was gload to have come upon him now. Through all her hardships and dreadfull encounters she had met someone nice for a change.
"Well, I was really just taking a stroll through the forest. How about you? What would you be doing in the forest?" She asked, she didn't want to sound mean and was afraid she might have. She clenched her teeth and turned away. That one moment of not paying attention cost her she slipped off the branch and onto the ground landing on her butt. She winced painfully and tried not to look at the boy. She had made a fool of herself, how ashamed she was. She always made it her goal to make a good impression on people. But she'd ruined it. She got up and patted herself off and giggled a bit. She looked up and smiled akwardly hoping he didn't thing she was a freak.

Brandon smiled once more as she asked about what he was doing in the Forest. A Simple Question, One that could be easily answered, and which he did, as he said "I live here... With the Woodland Elves... I have been living with them since I was 7 years old...." He said, as he saw her fall off the Branch of the tree.
He seemed a bit worried about hear, as he leapt off the Branch, and landed on the ground beside her. "Are you alright? That was quite a fall..." He asked her, Hoping she was alright.

Lucine listened to his answer and nodded. She looked around suspiciously though not seeing any kind of creatures on the way here...specially not any elves. She was kind of on her toes not knowing that there was a village somewhere in this forest or something that the elves lived in. It was kind of intersting the way they lived here. The boy landed next to her if she fell and she was so embarassed she had to gather herself together before looking at him. But when she did her face was bright red, it felt hot. She turned away again.
"I'm quite all right. I'm tough." She said and faked a smile. She then looked up to where they were and realized it was farther than she had thought it was. She'd fallen quite a ways. Lucine then looked around the forest with much curiosity.
"Well, if you live you. Where's your're family and all the other elves? Why aren't you hidden too?" She asked. She wanted to know everything. She always did.

He laughed a slight bit when she turned her head away a bit, then looked back at him, like she wasnt sure what she was doing at all.
He smiled again, when she inquired about his Family, But he started to get a bit of a sad look when he remembered his real parents. "Well, Lucy, To tell you the Truth, My Parents were Human, But they were killed sometime ago by a odd torrent of Magic... The Elves that are in hiding raised me since I was a small boy.... So as you can see..."
He replied, as he turned his head a bit, and gestured to his ears, as he added "... Im no Elf, Im pure Human..."

Lucine heard his hearty laugh. He must not think she was a complete idiot if he was laughing at her silly gestures of embarassment. Lucine then calmed down and looked at the boy she had met. After she had asked the question sadness spread upon his face. Obviously something was wrong about what she had asked. Her smile disapeared as well. Brandon told her about his parents and how they had been killed. It was sad. It looks like these two had something in common, Lucine's mother had been killed by a wizard. Lucine nodded when he told her about the elves and how they were hiding, made sense.
"Aaahh..." She said and looked at his ears. She should've noticed sooner that he was no elf. It didn't cross her mind. She smiled at the fact that she had missed his ears completely. Lucine got up and looked around.
"So, do you ever leave your forest?" She asked thinking about all the fun things there are to do in this world. She wondered if he ever left and if he even needed to.

"Eh? Leave the Forest?" He asked, as he began to think. She brought up a good idea, but there was something he had to tell her about that.
"Im afraid not... for the Last 14 years, I have lived here all my life... Honing my Magic and Archery skills..." he replied, as he picked up his Bow that rested at the base of the tree, in a Bush. He slung his bow across his back, as he then smiled at her.
"What could possibly make me want to leave the Forest?"

His questioning reply brought up so many questions in Lucine's head that it confused her. Why wouldn't you want to leave the forest. There was so many fun things to do. The first thing she thought about was dancing. She loved to dance. Lucine raised an eyebrow at him and continued to listen to Brandon talk. It sounded like all he ever did was train and sit in trees and whistle. She started to stand up as he asked her the question. Something had to be done.
"Brandon. There are many exciting things outside this forest." She looked down at him with her eyebrow still raised. She looked at his bow agianst the tree and did a full circle landing on one foot. She put her hands behind her back and smiled at him tilting her head to the side.
"Okay. There are so many different people to meet. The best thing is dancing. You know? Wait...don't tell me." She said puting a finger up as if to hush him from saying anything else. She wondered. Were elves pure enough that they didn't drink? She liked a bit of alchohol here and there. It was fun. She put her hand down.
"Have you ever done anything exciting? Anything to make your heart rush and all your worries go away?" She asked him. Her face turned serious. She didn't want to here the answer No from him. How could someone be deprived of fun?

Brandon just stood there, Bewildered at the girls behaviour. When she asked if he had any kind of fun, and told him about Dancing, Brandon just smirked.
"Of course I do... We do have the Odd Celebration... We drink Wine, and Dance, and a few other stuff..." He replied, as he looked out towards the edge of the Forest. His Curiosity was starting to get the best of him. He wanted to witness the other fun stuff that Lucy might be suggesting towards.
