Xatu, like most Arakkoa, have a fairly slim and fairly muscular build. He possesses dark hellish red feathers with the feathers getting slightly lighter as the slide towards his face. All Arakkoa have completely different coloring of their feathers and therefore all unique. Xatu has bright yellow eyes which this time is not found in others of his species which are usually a green. Xatu claims he obtained these eyes by staring into the sun. His eyes illuminate through the dark and help him see things in pitch black. He wears a long overcoat with wavy brown and dark brown patterns. On his arms are wings which Arakkoa use to glide and help with jumping. Underneath the thick feathers of the wings are extremely sharp claws that can easily tear prey apart.
History: The Arakkoa are a very rare species and are known for their savagery with territory and hunting. They live on/in scrublands, mountains, canyons and forests. Xatu is a very strange specimen indeed. He lives on a cliff over a canyon facing the sun which he stares into every day. He claims it gives him the power to have visions of happenings and people. Xatu’s mum and dad were destroyed by foul demons after they invaded their territory. Xatu after that fended for him in the forest where they lived. He survived off of nature and learnt off of it as well gaining magical abilities of nature as he slowly became a druid. After the increase in human population and the thinning amounts of habitats Xatu fled to the top of a cliff in Ularian ridge where he discovered a human monk. The monk lived in a cave and shared with Xatu the teachings of fire and about the sun. He told Xatu about how if you stare into the sun for a very long time you gain a mystical power. Xatu learnt about how fire helps to keep others safe and warm and as well as a druid became a mage of fire after he finished his teachings. The monk died shortly after that and Xatu lived in his home in his honour. Xatu is fairly old now and very wise giving him a variety of powers. Nowadays he enjoys traveling to other places and meeting other people.
Personality: Despite his sinister appearance Xatu is friendly to most and likes to help out a lot. Unlike other Arakkoa, Xatu is not vicious or bloodthirsty. He welcomes any visitors with a warm heart and thinks of other’s needs before himself. His intentions are not clearly seen however and can be rather frightening for many different reasons. Xatu is shamanistic and mysterious as his history is not told but then again it is never asked for. Xatu cherishes friendship like everyday is his last day of living and is always up to making new companions.
Weapon: Seen in the picture in appearance. Previously owned by the monk, it is an old majestic and shamanistic staff. Its main purpose is to protect the holder with a variety of powers but it is also used to easily cast and boost the power of spells.
Powers:
Fire – Xatu can use an arrange of different fire skills from creating an ember for lighting a campfire to calling a huge fire storm to set ablaze and terrorize enemies.
Nature – Probably Xatu’s stronger area (in the fact he can do more in it). Xatu can call forth his naturist powers to damage enemies and heal the injured. Also, using his druid powers Xatu can summon a variety of animals to help him.
Speed – Thanks to his hollow bone structure Xatu is quick and agile and hard to get a hold of in battle.
Psychic – As well as being able to have visions Xatu can use psychic powers to inflict confusion and torment on his enemies. However a passive effect of his Psychic powers is telepathy.
Flaws:
Toughness – Because of Xatu’s naturally hollow bones he is weak to physical attacks so a swing from a baseball bat would cause serious damage let alone a spiked metal mace.
Strength – Even though he is reasonably muscled, normal Arakkoa’s main weapons would be their ‘Sharp claws’ so with no need with strength, Xatu is weak in that area.
Headaches – Being Psychic isn’t all good. His high IQ and psychic abilities cause him to get headaches very easily and they aren’t ordinary headaches, they are almost like seizures.
Cooldown - The spells and powers Xatu uses require alot of energy and so Xatu is vunurable and weak after a fight and needs to regain his energy.
