This shall be my character =D
Name: Ethera Dawnwhisper
Age: About 25 in appearance, but actual age is unknown as of yet
Race: Seraphim (angelic like elf)
Physical Description: Ethera has very pale skin, and sometimes she almost seems to disappear in the sunlight. She has a very fair, elven like face, with kind, calming features. She is approximately 5' 10", and very slender. She has long angelic wings stretching across her back, allowing her to soar above the terrain. She mainly wears white robes with golden cords around her waist and neck, but occasionally can be seen in pale greens and blues when going out to formal get togethers. She has silvery grey eyes and snow white hair reaching down to her lower back. Her general appearance has the ability to calm and soothe those around her.
Personality: Ethera is a very tender, loving woman. She will never turn away a soul in need, no matter the depth of evil in their heart. She is very serene, and her advice is often held in high regard, but she is never arrogant, and doesn't look down upon anyone. She isn't very outspoken, however, tending to stay by herself as much as possible when not aiding someone in trouble. When meeting someone new, she can come off as being shy and troubled, but really she is just trying to fit in with those around her without standing out. Ethera is not one to quickly engage in combat, despite her powers. If she is direly needed, the most she will use her abilities for is defense of her friends and healing the wounded. She tends to be a very mothering lady, and would gladly give anything she possessed to aid an ally.
History: Ethera was born among the rest of the Seraphim, whose homelands are unknown, but was lost in a raid on her hometown, and was raised by the graceful elves. In the elven lands, Ethera was taught how to use magic of all elements, and was very eager and quick to learn. She can easily control each of the elements (wind, fire, water, ice, and earth), and she is also capable of a holy magic that she still has yet to control. She won't ever attempt to learn the Dark Magic, but does not shy away from those who are followers. Also, in her distress of trying to fit into her surroundings, a small group of elves were able to teach Ethera the ways of shapeshifting. Ethera can shift into almost any kind of creature that roams the land, as long as she has seen and interacted with it. This helps her to move around the world without attracting too much attention from the common folk.
**Just as a note, I won't be using this character to say, for instance, transform into like, a dragon, decimate towns, heal herself, and keep destroying and dominating her foes in battle...hence her gentle demeanor. Despite her great abilities, they will not be overused. =)
