The four had rode for many miles into the long hours of the night, their horgans were slowly growing weak at the legs, soon they would need to find a place to rest. In the distance was a left turning cutting from the wide rough terrain road.
The ulithains soon rode upon a smaller path that was sheltered by trees that arched above the road. Standing present were two tribal guards that secured the village entrance in their outposts, Cikasien continued pacing Vakthrenthra towards the village gates. Coming to a halt, the two tribal guards left their posts to examine the strange visiters.
The village slept peacefully throughout the night, the guards appeared to be the only entities in the village that were awake from the view of the entrance. The guards duties were to protect the village at all cost but to ensure nothing disturbed the peace in their territory
By first glance the guards would be skeptical to let four heavily equipped warriors into their camp, yet with the paleness of Viricial seeming to have been through horrid conditions and Cikasien whom clearly was badly injured, it wasnt as if the warriors had come to cause havoc, so it seemed.
The two guards turned to open the gates, then began walking into the core of the village, signalling for the newcomers to follow them. The small camp had around thirty small houses, each houses had a bright light inside that helped enlighten the village at night time. Besides the residential homes in the camp, there was a pub that was still open, yet many of the citizens had left to rest in their homes.
The guards pointed towards a nearby hotel, all the buildings were made from compressed mud. Though the resources of the village were slim, the natural sources around them, such as large water supplies and the beauty of the forestry that surrounded their village, gave the camp a great appeal to newcomers.
Cikasien headed towards the direction of the hotel, reaching the entrance of the petite house, he turned back towards his companions.
[glow=red,2,300]"Ulithians, do as you please for the next few hours....we soon rest, then we make preparations at sunrise !"[/glow]
It was only around 8 at night, so the newcomers had plenty of time to spare within the village. The pub seemed to have few people inside, but below the surface of the ground floor in the basement was a large group of villagers whom partied long into the night.
The guards returned back to their posts, allowing the newcomers to welcome themselves to the citizens of the village, however Cikasien headed into the hotel, going upstairs without hesistation.

"Very well sir... Have a good night"
Ezra replied to the Emperor and he followed him to the hotel only to dismount his Horgan stroking Shalkith's head softly telling it to stay there for the night. Ezra took the saddlebags off the Horgan and proceeded to the inn going up the stairs to deposit his load in one of the rooms.
He turned and locked it tight. He left Curoch in the room as well as a few of his weapons however his daggers remained strapped to his body. He was NEVER weaponless. The assassin proceeded down the stairs to the star lit night.
He immediately bee lined for the pub. He had been thinking far too much of his sorrows and he needed alcohol. He could also learn the language while he drank his pain down. He entered the pub and every head in the place seemed to turn toward him. He didn't bother glancing at anyone and went straight to the bartender. She was an attractive woman with golden curls and curves that should be found on a sculptors master piece. She looked Ezra over and smiled coyly but he just pointed at one of the various liquors on the wall and pointed at another person's shot glass. She quickly poured him a shot and he sipped it the hot whiskey burning its way graciously down his parched throat. She said something in the native tongue and Ezra just smiled and raised an eyebrow trying to get the point across that he did not speak her language.
She understood and began to try to teach him the language which he immediately started learning with deliberate ease.
{Anyone can enter the role play with me either as the bartender or just another patron i don't mind either way ^^}

Viricial’s eye’s would glance from left to right as they passed calmly through the, so it seemed, deserted town. In their tracks they came across a pub, much like any she had seen before, inside she could see that little people was still up given the time. The four came to a halt outside where they would be staying, the hotel. To Viricial it wasn’t much of a hotel but she wasn’t about to complain in her state.
Viricial glanced back at the pub, music could be heard from somewhere beneath, some sort of a rave she thought to herself and no matter how much she’d of found that appealing if she was one of those regular girl’s that would go to parties, getting absolutely ‘rattered’ then get laid by some guy that they had just met; yes she believed she may of found it appealing if she didn’t live for respect off her fellow Ulithian’s of her parents, off Cikasien.. She turned on her heels and noticed Ezra and Cikasien departing into the hotel.
“Good night.”
She called after them, not really knowing if they’d heard but she felt satisfied knowing she’d said it, being the caring woman she was to her friends. The little strength she had left in her body found its way into the hotel, she could wait while morning for food right now all she wanted to do was get a decent night’s sleep where she didn’t have to worry about the tribe returning, but she could feel safe, well at least she hoped.
Surprisingly, Viricial had been allowed to keep her weapons with her whilst being captive, she knew they doubted her very much and that they knew she wouldn’t use them at any point. They was wrong. She would of used them, if she could each and every one of those men would of paid for making her feel fear. She sighed, removing the bow from her back and placing on a table near the bed, her family sword she too placed by the bow. Now she could sleep, though she was a little uneasy about her new surroundings, she’d quickly adapt it was part of her job. Besides, this town seemed calm.

Bartimaeus yawned as he exited his room and began to wandered around the hotel, as though the place was entirely empty. But in true fact the place was actually quite alive, there was a number of locals that passed him, only to be frightened by the distanted stare that seemed to pass through them. They all headed toward the pub, along with fixing themselves for a good night. He now slowly walked along the wooden floors, his step ever so loud as the padded it's metal clanged together as he moved. He had left the others in there own care and allowed them to adjust and prepare in there own way from there further explorations that were ahead of them.
He clutched Goethe as he walked down along the main corridor and finally vanished into the darkness, only to appear in front of candlelight in the lounge. He remember that Cikasien was somewhere in the hotel, while Ezra went to drown his sorrows in the pub, as for Viricial, well she was probably attending to her from her terrible experience. His face was like stone as he stared out a small window into the night, he longed to return to Ulithia, to return back to where he had learned everything he had known in life, back to the Library.
Bartimaeus thought about Valkerithvarn, and then smiled as he could feel it's roar within his body, raging to be with it's master and friend. He around again to see if any of the Ulithians were about. But then sighed in dismay that he was alone again. Being alone was one of the most harshest of feelings that he ever experience as he spent most of his entire life on his own. And his manners towards other people varied as he was susipicious of anyone, who his crossed paths with except the emperor, who had freed him of his delicate state of mind.
Eventually after an hour of staring out into the night, Bartimaeus returned to his room were he hidden all his weaponry except a mere dagger, where he place between his left leggings and his metal horgan boot. He felt that he might go and socialize with one of the Ulithians, who might be awake at this time. So once again he wandered the corridors in search of his friends, his awareness of everything that moved became sharper as though he was tapping himself his horgan insincts.
It was only a matter of time before he would me one of them, the question was who?

Kakra was.... displeased. She had gotten a tad carried away in her last feeding, and the man had ended up dead. Now most of the village knew there was a in residence. Luckily for her, they weren’t sure who it was, but it meant finding a meal was becoming next to impossible. She would almost certainly have to move on, but not before she got in one last meal- there was no way she could make the journey to the next village without a feeding. It was made a tad difficult when everyone travelled in pairs and never ventured about during the night, which was when she was most active. She’d been gnawing on one of her elegant fingers in frustration when the newcomers came in. If she were the type, she might have sent fervent prayers to whatever Gods there were. She wasn’t, however, and spent the time calculating who to go after. The female was out of the question, of course. Female blood wasn’t as good as male blood, and they almost never fell under her “allure” charm. This left the three males. One was busy in the tavern, so he was out, but two went to the only hotel in the village- the one she was staying at, of course. She could possibly have lived inside a cave, she supposed, but they were hardly comfortable and it wasn’t like all she did with her victims was drink their blood. It was good to get them a little worked up first- it made the blood all the better. Kakra smiled, a predatory sort of smile that flashed just a hint of her long fangs. This would be entertaining, at the very least. As luck would have it, one of the visitors was wandering about the hallways of the hotel, which suited her just fine. Easier to get to him that way. She adjusted her short, red hair, and unbuttoned two of the black buttons of her blouse, only a scant few inches above the corset that emphasised her small waist and curves. She was revealing quite a lot, but that didn’t bother her none. Men seemed to not notice certain other details- like her fangs, for example- when a woman’s cleavage was in view. The shirt and corset were both black, with deep red lacing and white, frilled lace accentuating the outfit. She was uncharacteristically wearing a skirt, the brushed around her ankles in a wealth of black lace, fashionably drawn up partway on the side and baring one pretty calf. All in all, she was only a few steps above a brothel girl, but as always it didn’t bother her at all. It was a means to an end, and besides- she was vain enough to quite enjoy the stares she attracted. Kakra decided she was quite done up enough, and quietly followed the man down the hall, until she was just behind him. She put a hand to his back then, and leaned in close. “Good evening,” she breathed into his ear in a sultry murmur, keeping just far enough back that if he got too startled and attacked- it happened occasionally- she would be able to jump out of the way. Curvaceous vampire ftw! -

Viricial had been sleeping for near enough an hour now if not longer, she woke suddenly; sweat droplets had gathered on her forehead, her hands where screwed up and the sheets in which she was sleeping in was scrunched up and not wrapped around her nearly bare body. Before getting a few winks she had taken off her armour, it was weighing her weak body down so now she was dressed in a white vest top and some short panties. She stood up and brushed her long golden brown hair back from her beautiful face. She was going to get something to eat and drink, she could no longer wait. Deciding to keep her dignity she reached out and pulled the white sheet around her body and walked out of the room. The sheet was to prevent anyone from seeing her body but it was also to keep her warm, her body hadn’t fully recovered from such isolation, such torment.
Viricial passed Bartimaeus in the corridor, she briefly looked at him. She didn’t really recognize who it was until she had passed him, she stopped in her tracks and spoke.
“Having a good night?”
Viricial looked back and noticed a young woman within his company, she waited for an answer not too sure if he had heard her as she’d walked past because of the girl’s presence but she didn’t just want to walk away. She stared for a moment at the woman, she couldn’t put her finger on it right now but there was defiantly something different about her. She spoke again, this time in a louder voice so that she could of been heard even if this woman had started talking to him, maybe her tone sounded arrogant to the woman that stood besides Bartimaeus, but he’d know that was just they’re tongue.
“I’ll be in the restaurant if you need me.”
She didn’t know if they was both going to accompany her, assuming that they wasn’t she walked away, down the corridor and then turned right. She sat down at a table nearest the window with a plate of food, even though she was fairly she ate slowly watching a handful of people walk past every now and again, she too missed her homeland, Ulithia. She feared she wasn’t the only one in the group to have these feelings either. Still, she didn’t know why she thought there was something odd about the girl Bartimaeus was with, after all she didn’t know her. But that was just Viricial as a person, having instincts about people.

Silently Nadja sat with in the shadows of the peaceful village. It was different from the one's she had come a crossed in the mountains. Yet that wasn't saying much all the villages looked different but turned out the same. "I have to approach this one differently Phook. I really do not wish to kill this quaint place." softly Nadja whispered over her shoulder to the small black rat that paced back and forth on a tree branch. "Let us not forget that hunter is on your trail now. Chaz. Yes I know I heard his name correct." It didn't need to be said Phook was nervous for his companion
"And what of the new comers Jadoo?" Phook lepta over a bundle of leafs landing onto her shoulder down to her lap. Picking up his pacing right where he left off. " I am sure they are warriors. What if they be hunters as well? They may not have heard of your doings now. But should they be hunters it will only be a matter of time." Closing her eyes Nadja sucked in a deep breath while her dainty hand rubbed the temple of her forehead. " Stop Phook. Please. I can not hide anymore. I will not hide anymore. Hunters or not...I can hold my own." Upon opening her eyes she carefully place Phook back onto another branch. Before placing her hands to her side pushing herself down from the tree's to the ground with out a sound.
Dusting off the rich dark blue silk fabric that she found and wrapped tightly around her bosom down and around her waist. Till it reached her hips where it flooded down over her legs. For mobility she slit the cloth from the middle of her thigh down. While the chains and amulet held the make shift but nicely down dress up. Nadja tilted her head to-wards her friend. " Perhaps they are hunters Phook. Even if they are I do not think they look for me.Or they would be checking out all the homes here looking for me. So how it was in the last town yes?"
Nodding satisfied with her own pep-talk Nadja turned away on her heels. Leaving Phook behind heading to-wards the same building the other travelers went into. Pausing before the door. Nadja couldn't help but to cant her head as she tried to make out the strange markings. Not being able to read made things rather hard for her. But idle chit chat between a couple inside soon pointed out that this was a place of sleep. Shaking her head that was clearly something she wasn't in the need of.
Placing her hands on her hips Nadja quickly became puzzled with the area around her. Unsure of which building were which. All the small towns she came to were simple nothing like this. " Mhmmm...." Pressing her lips together as she spun back around to the other buildings trying to figure out which was which. When she noticed a building that seemed to be rather active. Little did she know it was a pub. Course even if Nadja had she still wouldn't have known what it was.
Upon opening the door Nadja instantly felt out of place. This really wasn't like any place she had been before. Biting on her pouty bottom lip she took a few steps in. Already her amulet purred in delight with the hum of the peoples auras. Already reading them adapting to each persons liking in a means of a subtle self defense. Course she really didn't need to us it she stood out as it was. Not only because of the unusual garment, but of her shifting eye color and pale complexion that made all her facial features pop.
Inhaling rather harshly Nadja forced her body to stop shaking as some of the people nodded to her while others just stared. Nadja Made herself take in the setting of the building along with the people and their actions. Nadja noted quickly that most people were sitting seemingly enjoying themselves. Biting down on her lower lip again Nadja picked her feet up and started to walk a crossed the pub to the counter. It couldn't help but to be noticed not only the rhythmic swinging of her hips but the odd memorizing pulse of her foot steps. It almost seemed like a heart beat.Strong and steady yet smooth like a song.
Stopping before the stool Nadja paused once again canting her head at the seating. Pondering for a moment how she was suppose to sit down on it with out seeming un-lady like. Apparently humans frowned upon that. But it wasn't before long that she had herself seated even if the act was done rather clumsy. Crossing her legs adjusting her self some more Nadja finally gave the tender a warming smile before taking a look around. Instantly Jadoo noticed that one of the people here was one of the travelers. Making it possible that the others he traveled with could be in this place as well. Sighing softly Nadja went back to biting on her bottom lip trying to fight back her uneasiness as the tender stared aimlessly at her. Clearly there was something she was suppose to do now in the building. Shame she had no clue what that was.

It was a warm summer day in the yard of his simple Ulithian home. Ezra had just returned from yet another victory. A beautiful woman ran to him her brunette locks bouncing and her green eyes brimming with tears as she jumped into his embrace. Ezra smiled and took her within his arms. He had missed her and cherished these moments when they were finally reunited. They spent the rest of the day just enjoying each others company. Ezra told her of his conquests and victories and she told him the latest news within the kingdom. They held each other and enjoyed each others embrace....Ezra snapped out of his reverie as he felt a new presence enter the room. He felt but the difference in drafts in the air and saw a young girl walk in through the reflection of the glass. She wasn't bad looking but Ezra didn't notice. He didn't take notice of a woman's feminine features much anymore. They were just instruments of mass destruction in Ezra's world He took a long swig of the whiskey which finished off his third drink. He ordered another. He wasn't even buzzed yet which was a crying shame. This liqour was so much weaker then the Ulithian brews.. The girl just so happened to sit next him as the tender set down Ezra's fourth drink. Ezra took a drink and relished the flavor. Though it was weak it was very smooth and did taste very good. Ezra noticed the tender looking at the girl expectantly and he shook his head, feeling obliged, Ezra bought the girl a whiskey and the tender set the glass in front of the young woman. Ezra turned back to his own glass and looked into the alcohol as if he could still see the woman who had once been his wife and who had also been his source of heartbreak (sorry for the crappy reply kind of having some personal problems right now so im not really all the way here at the moment...)

Pulling her hands together the wood elf twiddled and played with her figure tips as the tender stared on at her. Sighing softly Nadja was just about to move perhaps to a hidden corner of this place when the woman scampered away at the request of the gentleman next to her. Only to return moments later placing a drink before her. It would seem this was a place of drinks? Raising a brow she pondered yet again over this new fact. In some ways it didn't make sense to her. Seeing as how a person could very well do the same act with in their own home. Shrugging softly she figured there was a reason behind it. One she would have to remember to ask someone about.
"Mmmm." Biting down on her lower lip again Nadja slowly encircled her hands around the glass bringing it up to her nose to smell it. It quickly burned her nose causing her face to scrunch up some. Yet the liquid had an odd woody smell that hung gently amongst the strong smell she first took in. Parting her lips some to take a drink Nadja cleared her voice some so the traveler could make out what she was saying. " Thank you." Darting her eyes towards his direction for a moment Nadja took in his aura again.
It was an odd buzzing that rolled over her veins though. Nadja couldn't say for sure. Not knowing the man at all but he seemed to have a hollow spot pitted out in his soul. Course that wasn't something new in people as she was soon beginning to notice. Normally her defense would take that pit and rip it open but for some reason it didn't seem right. He looked sad? Yet again it only left a question in her mind why? Shaking her head softly Nadja drew her attention back to the drink. Reaching up with one hand she dipped her figure into the warm liquid before drawing to her lips for a quick taste. It wasn't as bad as it smelled it would seem.
So with out a second thought she drew the glass to her lips again and swallowed down what was in the glass in one large gulp.Only to slam the glass back down as a cold chill ran up her spin and her whole body cringed. Nadja's throat burn so bad she could help but to break out in a violent cough. Never in her life had she tasted such drink. Placing her hands on her throat as she coughed on some more till tears built in her eyes. " Liquid...." cough " that burns like fire?" coughing her body felt tingly as the whiskey ran through her body. Clearly the girl had never tasted this form of drink before.
Shaking off the unusual feeling that came with the drink Nadja turned towards the man once again. Holding back what coughing she could she spoke up once more. " May I ask you what that was in the glass sir?" Not sure wither or not she had asked that correctly she quickly moved her eyes back to the glass. Trying very hard to keep back the fear and distrust that was soon filling her head with wild violent thoughts of what that drink may have been. For all she could have known it could have been poison. Softly she muttered carelessly out loud. " It did not taste bad ...rather painful though." softly she moved her hand back to her throat hoping the burn would ease some.
(Oh no worries it wasn't a bad post at all. ^.^)

As Bartimaeus walked along the dimly lit corridor, he caught sight of one of his companions, from the silhouette of the figure he knew exactly who it was and from the quite and discreet speech from her mouth, his observation had been correct, it was Viricial. But as she walked passed him, she noticed that he wasn't alone and he knew that he wasn't either, but his sudden intuition of this other presence, this had place him in an awkward position. For one she was following him, that was certain as he noted her earlier as he walked along the corridors, for two her greeting was like hitting and impervious wall, he didn't what she was saying and he didn't care.
As he thought about Viricial, it was best that he accompanied her to the restaruant as he felt that being a gentleman should escort a lady to her destination, to ensure no harm is done to her. That and the fact that they could discuss the presense of the others, that have seemed to entered the village. Bartimaeus, like the others had a special gift for sensing other intentions, whether they are a threat or not. He nodded his head to her invitation. As he watch Viricial, he briskfully turned around and ignored the other and followed his companion to the restatuant.
He slowed his pace as he walked around to the far side of his table and took a seat there, his eyes never faltering from her face, as he allowed his own mind to ponder on certain matters. He greeted her with a flicking sound from between his thumb and index finger.
"It's rather...dull, this evening. It seems one of these locals, took a shine to me. I doubt that any good."
His eyes shimmered in the darkness like two big moons, his voice less harsh as it was earlier yet still keep it's tone. He search her face for a reply, by also to discover some knowledge about her that he seemed to lack, as he had only met her for the first time only earlier.

Viricial looked upon Bartimaeus as he sat down, she felt his presence enter the room not long after she had. The restaurant was dimly lit and there was little occupants, just herself and her fellow Ulithian. She nodded her head once, opening her mouth slightly and placing the food within it. There was little dialogue between the two but then again they had been little acquainted, her moisten eyes again glanced back out into the star riddled night sky.
She heard Bartimaeus speak, she nodded in reply before turning her head so that she was again facing him.
“Yes, it does seem dull. Though I suppose it will be lively by morning. Are you talking about the girl from the corridor?"
She questioned him she sensed that is was of that girl he spoke but she thought it best to check, her gaze never faltered as she picked up the white cup from the table below them, she placed it against her pale pink lips and drank some of the contents. Her elbows where now resting on the table and deciding she’d finished eating, she pushed the plate away from her ever so slightly. Viricial lay her left arm down upon the cold dark brown table, her right hand however tucked her divine brunette hair behind her ear the lay beside the left. She spoke again.
"Why did you leave her so? She could be useful to gather information about this town you know.”
Her posture was formal, as it should always be so she thought though her manner and tone of voice wasn't overly formal and more informal she'd say. Her mind entertained itself with images of Ulithia for a few mere moments. She shook her head returning back to the reality that they was in.

Ezra had been drowned in his thoughts while the woman took a sip of the whiskey. He was numbly aware of her toying with it for sometime as if she didn't know what it was. He sipped at his whiskey some more and sat in a pool of his own sorrow. He knew this way of life was not healthy for him but he gave up caring.
He looked at the tender and ordered another whiskey. The woman had taken a liking to him, he knew, and she quickly got him another one winking it him none to discreetly. She was hoping he would get good and drunk tonight and take her back to his hotel room. Little did she know that he had no intention of such things.
He had gotten his use out of her. He had learned the language of this place and that was all she was useful for as far as he was concerned. The very last thing he cared about was getting his sexual release. He had been celibate ever since that horrible day that had torn his soul in two. And it was gonna stay that way no matter how attractive the tender might be. He smiled at her back though. Merely to keep her going because he found her advances quite amusing indeed.
A slam echoed next to him and his head snapped to the direction of the sound. The girl had just downed the glass of whiskey in one swig and, by the looks of it, it was her first time trying such a drink.
He arched an eyebrow at her question and chuckled. Ezra pulled out a small vial of clear liquid and spoke to her gently.
"Don't worry, if I had poisoned you, you would be collapsing right now and you would be dead before you hit the ground. That drink is called whiskey. Its a type of alcohol. It burns going down all alcohol does. But, if you keep drinking, I'm sure you will enjoy its rather relaxing qualities."
As he spoke a man had gotten out of his chair and taken two steps before falling forwards and slicing a table in half with his body and began snoring loudly.
"For some, however, it is best used in moderation..."

A shiver quickly ran over Nadja's skin as the man next to her explained what was in the glass. Wither it was his words that did it or the drink she couldn't be sure. Course the idea of dieing before even hitting the ground was truly an unpleasant one. But it didn't set off her body off into a hissy fit of defense so he wasn't threatening her. Merely speaking the truth.
Glancing over her should Nadja took in the now passed out man. He was defenseless in his state that was clear. Anyone could have taken him at that moment. Leaving her to wonder why someone would put themselves in such a manor. Reaching up Nadja gently brushed her hair back behind her ear. Unknowingly exposing one of her pointed ears. As she softly repeated what the gentlemen had called the drink. " Whiskey." As if she was memorizing what it was called. Narrowing her eyes she rolled the glass between the palms of her hands. Clearly a little taken back by the drink now that she was aware of it effects.
Once again Nadja moved into the bad habit of biting on her lower lip as she carefully looked over to the man next to her. He was taking the drinks one by one with out a care in the world. Would he end up on the ground sleeping as well. But more importantly what would make him have the need to end up in such a way? Relaxing her shoulders some Nadja pulled in the thread of energy she put off to everyone. Leaving all but one the one attached to the man. The energy of course was what she used to copy peoples emotions and what not. But it could also be used to getting a better picture of a person. And at that moment he seemed like the most unreadable person here.
Glancing away from him out of guilt Nadja let her ability read him some. Letting her big eyes move to the woman behind the counter who flaunted around him like a bird. Yet again she was hit with the hollow pit craved deep with in him. But it was more then that. It hit her so hard with in the gut Nadja had to lean back in her seat some for fear of falling over. The rush of sadness, loss and laced with the human flaw of pity. The man next to her was so utterly sad that even if it was a matter of life and death Nadja wouldn't copy his aura. It was simply to great. Quickly Nadja broke the line to him unable to take it anymore.
Yet even as all this went on unknowingly the tender still pranced back and forth like a fool. Canting her head Nadja wondered why the woman did so at all. Couldn't she see his sadness? It really wasn't hard to see. Course Nadja had just taste it briefly and perhaps felt it more then she did. But it still puzzled her. With out even thinking Nadja turned herself some as she spoke to the man again. " Why does she parade herself for you like that?" Briskly Nadja reached over the man pointing to the woman who was now serving another. " What does she plan to gain from making a fool of herself? Does she not notice the sadness rippling off you? Do humans mate more in sadness? Is that why she acts in such a belittling way?" Quickly Nadja pulled her arm back biting down now on her tong that she was sure had just gotten her in trouble.
Which it very well may have. Those few simple questions showed more of her weakness then she wanted to show. It showed she knew nothing between a man or a woman. And even less about life. But then again she did grown up caged away from the world. How was she to know what to say and what not to say. And for some odd reason asking this man to whom she didn't even have a name for. Seemed like a safe thing to do. But asking also left a new unknown feeling in her belly. Guilt. Lowering her brow her face softened even more. " I am sorry....I believe you would call that being rude." Bowing her head to avoid what she was sure would be a scolding gaze from him.
(Now it's my turn. I'm sorry for the poorly done post.)

Bartimaeus flinched as he was unprepared for Viricial sharp criticism, as he thought that his actions were just. But as it slowly dawned on him, he began realize that his actions had consequences that effected his companions. He could have used the girl as a source for information in this place. But instead he was too caught up with the security of his ownself and companions welfare that he want to check and she if she had good intentions. His lips moved downward to make up a frown, it was his second mess up in his journey. How many more times would he make a mess up of his mission.
He sighed restlessly as he hadn't a real good excuse for his ill-mannered behaviour. His eyes faltered as he glanced away from Viricial's probing ones. He sat emotionless and incoherent for a couple of moments, then finally he cleared his throat and spoke.
" I could've done so, but I was in a rather.....cold mood as usual toward outsiders. After all, If I may speak my mind on this subject. I don't Trust anyone that looks to do harm. Cikasien, Ezra....They earned my Trust from countless battles that we endure back home. The War was harsh to me and it bore it's havoc upon me. Viricial..."
He stopped dead in his tracks as he began to calculate the best approach his opinion of Viricial. He slowed his heart a bit as it raced in his chest, It wasn't that he feared Viricial, as he feared no one that walked. It was the fact that he might not earn the right for his trust and loyalty within the heat of battle. She was apart of the Ulithian army, just as he, she was a lieutenant with considerable amount of power, He was a lieutenant with great conviction in his duties, either way he knew that he had no other choice but to inform her of his thoughts of her.
He finally inhaled slowly and began to speak once more in his harsh and cold voice.
" I will admit that I don't completely Trust you, Viricial. Cikasien says that you have already earn the right to my trust. But this is not the case, I don't trust you on grounds that you are another outsider......I had enough betray in my life to shut my heart off from all existence....But less I comment on it any further of Trust between us, you shall know that i still feel the same way. But I believe in due course of time, you'll prove yourself twice over in our exploration. Forgive me for my tongue has seemed to have betrayed me. I believe I'll go have a drink!"
He rose to his feet once again, as he believe that his sight to her would only keep a bitterness for him. He bowed as he turned around and motioned his body toward the entrance. His mind became clouded by the old memories of his past, they haunted him like his shadow. No matter where he went or hid, he couldn't escape the clutches of his miserable childhood. And the pain that he suffered from his family. as he approached the door, the image of his father embedded itself in his mind, a sudden morosed mood had reared its head in him. He clenched his left hand into a fist while he opened the door with his right hand.
[ OOC: I do believe it was my fault that I make her un-welcomed as My character totally ignored her. My apologies Krae!!!]

Kakra hissed in frustration, a brief showing of her sharp fangs. She cursed the woman using a various number of creative insults in a number of languages- after they had gone, of course. No use burning her bridges, after all, and it might seem a little odd to hear her spouting a variety of languages. It would create a little too much curiosity in her, something she couldn’t really afford. She stomped down to her room, glaring at her reflection in the long mirror for a brief moment before sulking on her bed for a few minutes. Rejection wasn’t something she was used to. She was among the elite, the nobility, she always got what she wanted. And now, here she was, being totally ignored! Another hiss of inarticulate rage, and she threw a pillow at the wall. It was a silly little tantrum, but since she was of the spoiled nobility, she felt she was entitled. Once she had calmed down a little, she straightened her hair and clothing, and adding a little bit of makeup to increase her appeal. There were other men around, of course, so she wasn’t just limited to that one fool. Satisfied that she looked presentable, she moved downwards to the tavern located near the inn. She noted the man from earlier and sent a heated glare at his back, her red eye briefly emerging from the changeling magic that had been cast upon it, before turning back to black, and she continued on her way. Her hunger was still gnawing at her, but she would have to wait a while to sate it. Hard liquor often helped, she’d noted, although becoming drunk was nearly impossible. Ah, well. She could always try, after all. Might need a dozen or so bottles, but she could easily afford it. Hell, she could probably buy off the entire town and still have plenty money. Advantages of living for centuries and being of nobility and whatnot. She strode up to the bar and curtly ordered the strongest liquor that they had in their possession, causing a startled look from the bartender, but she paid her no heed, merely tossing a gold piece on the counter and an order to leave the bottle there, with a glass. “Stupid humans,” she muttered to herself, in her native tongue, “Anything out of the ordinary causes them such alarm.” She poured herself a glass, then downed it all in one shot. It burned its way down her throat to her stomach, and she could feel some of her hunger abating. “Good,” she grumbled, this time in the common tongue. “Nice to forget about it once in a while...” She poured herself another glass, drinking it more slowly.
