Name: Adrienne Levefre
Age: Sixteen
Race: Human/Witch
Physical Description: Years spent bent over a desk has left Adrienne with a pale complexion, even more strongly pronounced by her long nearly black hair. This lifestyle has also resulted in a slender body, though she hasn’t any muscular strength to speak of. Her gray eyes add to an overall monotone appearance, making it quite easy for her to remain a wallflower. She wears a white slip dress belted in by a length of black leather with a heavy gold buckle, gray leggings and black boots. Her weathered travelling cloak, however, is a deep ruby red, and while normally she would be extremely opposed to wearing such a bright color, the cloak is a family heirloom and does keep the rain off. She wields no visible weapons, carries nothing in excess, and is accidentally walked directly into more often than she would like to say.
Personality: An isolated life has created in Adrienne an instinct to live independently and not burden others. This creates within her an emotional paradox, as she is prone to loneliness and does desire more social contact. Though she dedicates so much of her time to being a scholar, she wishes for a more social life and spends a lot of time trying to figure out what others are thinking and how to act around them, as though taking notes on the behavior of those less awkward will serve as a remedy for her own failed nuances. She’s very involved in reading and studying more of her craft, and while she’s not antisocial a bookish life has made her a little shy and reserved. When she has friends she likes to look after them, and can be uncharacteristically obstinate when she thinks she’s doing what’s right for them. In other words, she possesses an odd maternal streak. She can naturally be naïve because of her age and lack of human contact, but has moments of surprising maturity. Unsurprisingly, however, she is still a teenager and can easily become emotional, flustered, and completely unreasonable.
History: Adrienne is from a long line of matriarchal witches, following the path of her grandmother and mother. She grew up in a fairly chaotic household, as her mother went mad after several failed spells when Adrienne was very young. She spent most of her childhood learning from her grandmother, as her mother continued to attempt to attain powers not meant for mortals to bear. Eventually she lost both her grandmother and her mother when they were caught in an explosion that destroyed their home and several others on their street. Adrienne was forced to leave town, as her neighbors were now thoroughly convinced that all witches were highly dangerous and completely insane, and has since been wandering through the world, looking for a new place to settle where she can put her magic to good use. The best lesson she learned from her mother was not to use her magic in attempts to further her own self, but rather to help others. This would be perceived a sad childhood by many, but as Adrienne has always had a fairly level head on her shoulders, she tries to continue on without thinking about her loss. What she currently wants out of life is to increase her proficiency in magic and find a new place to live where she won’t be run out of town.
