The monk, quickly got up, though, still on his hands and knees, asthough he was bowing to the girl, he quickly apologized- from his first glance, she seemed that of royalty- a noble. "Forgive, Ma'am, I did not mean," He dared not to life his head up. Back home, anyone, not of noble rank had to do this, especially if you where an Imperial Guard. He then looked up to see just a regular girl, and remembered this is the West, and things are different in the West. He got up, slightly embarressed. He brushed the dirt of his white robes, his cone-shaped hat. He smiled, though his face flushed. He held out his hand and said, "I'm terribly sorry miss...what's your name, sorry"

Airkhasiel barked cheerfully and sat down as Kotori pet her and decided to roll on her stomach, it was difficult to reach there and god was it annoying her. Airkhasiel looked up at Kotori with hopeful eyes, her paws in the air.

The monk turned to the dog and smiled, cheerfully, thanking his god that the dog isn't in any danger. "You alright, little one?" He asked the dog as he held out his hand- in his hand was a small ginger biscuit- one small one out of a good pack he got from bartering rice with villagers. With his other hand, he took a small swig of 'Westerner's' wine, he got from a farm.

Airkhasiel got up and sniffed the biscuit, it wasn't posioned so she took it from the monks hand again eating it bit by bit and savouring the taste. It was strange, this form wasn't so bad after all there was alot of free food and loads of friendly hugs. After finishing she put her forepaws up to the monk and liked him on the face as a "Thankyou" then turning pack to Kotori and sitting next to her looking at the monk with intelligent eyes.

The monk turned to the minotaur. He took another small swig from his bottle and began to speak, "So, what about you big guy? What's your name?" The monk's accent screwed most of the words that spewed from his almost intoxicated mouth.

Vor'lekar had long since gotten bored of the sensation of his body dying around him. He had abandoned his skin, in order to get a look at what had caused the adventurers to ignore pleas for help. A dog? They can't be serious. They are either inexperienced, deaf, or just plain stupid...perhaps it's time I revealed myself...but were is the young girl...the Elemental... Vor'lekar continued to creep about on his skeletal limbs. He purposefully made sounds here and there, as he enjoy the taste of fear, and hoped to inspire some. However, he tasted a new magic from the dog instead. Odd...not just a dog then.

Airkhasiel's ears picked something moving, it wasn't far away. Standing up she barked loudy in the general direction of the strange smell. It sounded inhuman, like something scraping against the floor like nails scratching a blackboard. It hurt her ears, she barked ferociously again. Whatever it was she didn't like it, something was wrong.

The dog's barking was the monk's relief to not explain his whole life story as to why he has no real name. Typically, the names he was given was "The Nameless Master", "The Drunken Master", "Drunken Monk", or "The Nameless Monk". All of which tends to get annoying over a while. He looked to the minotaur and said, "Let's discuss later, Khaz." He knelt by the dog and asked, "What is it, lass?"

Airkhasiel looked up at Khaz with suprised eyes at the mention of an elf, one of her own? her kind were graceful and light footed. This wasn't any normal elf, Airkhasiel then growled slowly moving and sniffing toward the burning building. Her head ducked low, ready to sprint.

Ahhh, how delicious. I wonder just what kind of power this beast holds. Still, I cannot afford to engage when I have no knowledge of the girls whereabouts. Perhaps a little fun first. Vor'lekar kept about, the house, finding a good hiding spot. When the dog was in sight, he began to project images of bloody carnage and the terrors of his own realm. Most animals couldn't truly comprehend this and had little reaction, but more intelligent creatures were often highly panicked and sometimes even driven temporarily mad. Time to see if this is a magic dog, or something a bit more. Hahahaha!

Airkhasiel saw images in her head of great terrors, she saw them and at first the images shocked her for a second, but she had seen terrible things happen before in the two hundred years she had lived, she sat on her haunches in order to concentrate. Because of her ability she always ended up in some odd situation. People burning in the pits of hell and screaming. Rotten flesh torn from the skin of people by vicious animals, abominations of humans and strange creatures and she figured she could fight pictures with pictures. Never had anything she seen been as brutal as this though but she fought with a simple patience kept replacing them with peaceful ones of happiness and laughter.
