Airkhasiel perked her head up and looked into the figure's blazing eyes as he knelt down. No sound came from Airkhasiel, only a look of amusement and understanding. The old lady sat down in the chiar opposite Airkhasiel and stared at her realising she forgot to tell Bane her name "I'm sorry I was rude. My name is Maria, Air has been coming her for seven months now, why do you ask Bane?" the woman gave Bane a quizzical look. Airkhasiel looked toward the woman at the mention of the figure's name and then back at Bane. Airkhasiel had nothing to hide but she knew this person was trying to figure out if she was really what she appeared to be "Prow" Airkhasiel interjected just for the sake of reminding them she was still there and they were talking about her.

Turning his head he nodded aware they could not see the smile on his lips "a pretty name old one, the name speaks of many more years to come" beginning to scratch the cat behind the ear he sighed deeply "were I come from we have lions, in order to live with lions one must learn everything about them less you make a mistake and it mauls you. I can name every habit, food and favorite drinking whole of our lions. Lions are much like these smaller cats and will enjoy the same place over and over again, I just find its behavior odd is all, my interests are easily peeked"

Airkhasiel blinked...so he hadn't figured it out, oh well. Airkhasiel noticed the woman was now staring at her "..I'm sorry I can't help you bane." she paused for a moment looking into the cats eyes and the cat look straight back into hers "The mystery of Air will remain unsolved to me. But everything happens for a reason." Airkhasiel sat up as if in reply and looked into Bane's firey eyes, hers a deep ocean blue with nothing but understanding and acceptence. "Wherever you are going Bane take her with you. Her eyes tell me she does not belong here... her intelligence even scares myself" Airkhasiel was a bit hurt by this remark but did not make a fuss over it. If Airkhasiel stayed here she would attract danger to the woman and she did not want that, she continued looking at the fiery eyed figure.

"so be it" rumbled the stranger his deep voice suddenly serious he offered his arm to the cat implying it should sit on his shoulder. "I should warn you can, were I go this night will not be safe, you will witness battle" he nodded towards the old woman "best you leave this roof for a few minutes, i thank you for welcome into this house but id prefure for both our benefit that you did not see were I go" His eyes now like a pair of furnaces turned back to the cat "you with me wee kitty?"

Airkhasiel looked up but ignored the gesture of sitting on the man's shoulder. She was positive she could walk on her own two feet. Airkhasiel just looked up at the man and nodded in reply. The old woman still looked at the cat "As you can see understands more than you think. I never saw you here, I shall not ask where you are going but please...take care of her" there was a sad tone in the woman's voice "Please leave" Airkhasiel as a reply to this cuddled the old woman quickly "be a good girl" the woman was on the verge of tears. Airkhasiel meowed then looked back at the figure. Making no sound Airkhasiel walked to the door and waited for Bane.

Pulling out his pouch he pulled several silvers free and touched them to the table top leaving them behind "I wish you well" opening the door he checked for movement before stepping out, waiting for the cat then closing the door behind them. "we will have to be quick its late in the day but Im not exactly hart to spot" taking off at a sprint the agile strange lept upon a supply crate his powerful legs carrying him up and onto the tailors shop his eyes instantly locating the abandoned house sitting not two roofs away. "most fortuitous that I ended up here" he said the sound of his blade clicking free of his scabbard so it would be easy at hand when needed. speaking just loud enough for the cat to hear "A man in my village was a shape shifter, no were near as skilled as you but he would often become a lion...stay that way if you like mysterious one just stay close I don't relish someone hurting you." with that he stood at his full height one hand resting on his sword the other pulling the cowl from his face revealing the flaming inferno that was his hair. Tucking his cowl into his belt he swept his hair out of his face veins of magma pumping threw his charcoal skin he looked every ounce the demon people cursed him for.

Airkhasiel approved of the man's intelligence. She looked at his fiery figure with interest at his masculine appearnce, fiery veins pericing up his body and his hair the colour of the blazing sun. This came as no suprise to Airkhasiel he was almost how she imagined him. Airkhasiel decided that it was her turn, she transformed into her elven self. A grey mist formed around her as she transformed, Airkhasiel now appeared with long, silky black hair, a tall, slender figure with pointed ears, her face turned back into a wise but gentle looking face but the colour of her eyes stayed the same. Airkhasiel looked at herself and remember what she was wearing, her favourite silk lilac cloak, a light brown leather jerkin and trousers. Airkhasiel felt the cool air on her pale skin, With slight hesitiation she looked up to try and find Bane's expression at her newly revealed appearence.

His eyes slid over her figure a small smile twisting the edges of his mouth, even though she was far from his kind he could help but admire the attractive when he saw it. Bowing his head he sweaped into another elegant bow. "An elf, it is a pleasure, may I inquire as to the real name of this fair cat whom hath saved me?" he asked stepping close the two infernos staring down at her absorbing her facial features shamelessly. For the most part he was none to fond of the elven foke, given to jumping to conclusions and strutting around in all there pomp he couldn't help but avoid them, however this one had earned his trust and for that he would stay loyal till till it was broken.

Airkhasiel gave Bane a gentle smile, gracefully bowing back "My name is Airkhasiel, if you want you may call me Air" breaking her gaze she then walked slightly closer too the figure letting out her hand to gently touch his arm. To indicate to Bane they didn't need formalities they had already met, looking down at her hand as she felt the rought texture of charcoal on his skin, cool against hers and the beautiful yellow veins that went up his arm. It was new to her but it didn't scare her in the slightest, she looked back up to Bane. A gentle, caring, smile still across her face. Staring into his fiery eyes that looked like little versions of the sun and admiring the red flame of his hair. "Friend, where does your quest take us?"

His eyes broke contact with her staring at the small building, "we will be entering a den of evil, it has come to attention that there have been regular disappearances threw out the city." taking a step away from her his eyes scanned the rooftops hatefully checking they were alone. "I intend to investigate, although I think I already know whats happening here.." sighing he looked over his shoulder at her for a long moment unsure if it was the right thing to do to drag her into his 'world'. "before we break into that building and fight threw all manners of hell it is fair to tell you...once this fight begins you will be stuck within this terrible quest till it is either over or..." he shrugged "...they get you. I owe you Air I will understand if you want to wait for me here"

Airkhasiel laughed at his request, she was looking for adventure "No, Bane. I can take care of myself....If anything I will probably end up saving you." she paused for a moment aware he was frightened for her, she comforted him, her voice with full of courage. Cutting to the chase "You're right I don't have to help you, no gaurd would chase after a cat...neither would they chase after another animal. For humans never see what is under their noses. But I have saved you once and I think it silly if you're just going to get yourself killed, you are a strange creature to my eyes Bane and in two hundred years I have seen many things despite by my race I am young, I respect you." giving the conversation a bit of a lighter tone "Besides! who can catch a shapeshifter?"

He shrugged quite amused “One day the shape shifter in the form of a lion was mauled by a true lion” he winked lifting her hand he pressed a kiss on her ring finger the taste of her flesh sinking into his lips made him quiver “Im glad you have agreed to come with however, my own company for so long seems to have been getting to my head, I suddenly feel so fresh and alive” turning suddenly he released her hand and lunged landing lightly on top the opposing rooftop he took off. Looking like a blazing comet he landed before the buildings door “here we go...” he muttered not waiting for her his foot thundered against the door blowing it from its hinges allowing him to step into the billowing smoke emitted from the dark interior. From within came an incomprehensible shout and the clashing of metal upon metal.

Airkhasiel was taken by suprise of the figure kissing her finger "I'm not him" she replied just before he took off, the tone in her voice slightly annoyence that he was comparing her to the other shape shifter. Bane's comment on lonliness saddened her, trust did not come easily to this man. Airkhasiel watched as he took off shooting like a comet, she sighed and transformed herself into a pure black raven and took flight and landing not far off to where Bane did, watching in the distance.

Feeling his arm raise and apply force at the correct moment in order to counter the cold steel of short stabbing dagger with the metal rings of his gauntlet then wrap around and grasp the blade with the leather inlays of the palm of the glove. The glow emanating from his body briefly showed the shocked expression of the young man before his other hand delivered a devastation uppercut to his jaw. He didn’t bother wondering if the man was dead or not, most fleshlings tended to drop dead if they took a blow from him in the head. One would think that his glowing body was a disadvantage in the dark, and in most cases one would be right however, since he had just arrived in the darkness and his eyes had yet to adjust, the aura of light around him allowed him to see attackers before they could finish a blow. This meant that half way through a close attack he would spot you, giving him just a moment to react. This of course was enough time for the young warrior who had just dropped to one knee and charged a second attacker in the chest bouncing him off the wall behind him before jumping through the air and blasting a kick to his oncoming neck a loud snap sounding the man’s demise. Landing lightly he spared a glance to the door wondering where she had gotten to, back stepping he avoided and rolled past an attack his blade sweeping out to slice through the arm of the swords man, then reversing into the gut of the silent stalker who had been moving in on the kill from behind. Looking down at his missing limb the man turned his head his face coloured with shock in pain “wha..wha-“ he muttered before banes sword slashed back through the air rendering the attackers head from his shoulders. “Hm...Odd...not like him to use mort-“the blow from behind sent him through the air crashing into the opposite wall. Head lolling to one side he shook off the blow from his head waiting till his vision cleared before looking at where it had come from. Stepping into the light from the door stood an enormous horned figure a low growling in its throat was deep enough to make the timers in the floor shudder. Grunting his eyes turned to his sword which was now stuck in the ground quivering from being ruthlessly thrown there. “Demons...how classic...” rolling to the left he avoided the fist of the great beast, standing now he sprinted towards his blade--

Airkhasiel heard the fighting, jumping down off the tree and imagined herself as a panther with a flash of mystical light she transformed into an oversized pantheress, nobody liked the sight of a predator. Airkhasiel opened the door by pushing her weight on it using her front paws and pushing with her hind legs, the door opened and she shut it again quietyly with the weight of her body. Airkhasiel hastily stalked quietly into the room, her eyes adjusting to the darkness. Seeing the light aura of Bane ahead of her and a strange creature. Suddenly something had hit her companion, she sunk back into the shadows and observerd the creature it was enourmous with great big horns. Airkhasiel didn't know what to do, she hesistated...what do I do? she looked quickly at the large figure. Airkhasiel stopped thinking and pounced out of the shadows onto the creatures head, and dug her claws into it's eye quckly before jumping back off also digging her hind claws into it's face before the hands of the creature reached her. Thestrange creature screaming in agony as it was swiftly blinded and knocked back by the force of her jump when Airkhasiel pushed off the creature with her hind legs. Airkhasiel quickly slumped back into the shadows letting out a loud growl that echoed throughout building giving the creature no idea as to where it's opponents stood and hopefully giving Bane enough time to recover.
