Rosehill Sentinel (OPEN)

[Yua]

She stoped as soon as he drew close. She turned hurried on back into the shelter, tail rattling like a snake. She was nervous, just fearful is all. She yowled abit much like a cat. She was simply nervous, though when he belly growled she peeked back out.

Shade saw her move back into the shelter and thought that the loud crunching noise of his landing must have startled her. He peaked around into the shelter and saw her. I really need to land softer, he thought to himself. "I'm sorry," he whispered softly. "I didn't mean to startle you. But..." He looked around. "Was that singing you?"

[Yua]

She bristled, eyeing him like a scared cornered cat, she hissed some, tail rattling again. She moved into the corner of the shelter. Keeping a distance. She really didnt want to answer him, but nodded slowly.

Shade plopped in front of the fire and stared into it, and then turned and looked her in the eye. "That was... Beautiful."

[Yua]

She blinked abit, than ducked away from sight. But only for a moment, she soon wiggled on back out and towards him. She kept a distance moving over to the fire, warming up some again. Right now her skin and feathers matched the snow. Except for the blue dust tipping her feathers.

Shade scooted over and tapped at the ground. His wing unfolded and reached out towards her and he gave her a smile. The fire danced in front of them and he stared into her eyes, the orange flames flickering off of his.

[Yua]

She eyed him a moment, than moved away from his wing. A very skitish creature. She sat by the fire, her fanned tail open drawing in more heat.

Shade sighed silently and turned towards the fire, retracting his wing. He stared into it feeling slightly rejected and scary. He leaned his cheek on the palms of his hands and sat still and silent.

[Yua]

She turned her back to the flames and faced the trees. Head tilted upwards some as she made the odd 'call' again. Though no reply other than the winds howling answered. she continued with the song, calming herself.

Shade stared into the fire, allowing no more than a glance from the corner of his eye to fall on her. He didn't want her to think he was staring if she turned back around. He listened carefully to the beautiful music of her voice.

[Yua]

She continued to sing, though soon stoped. Feeling tired she stood and walked back into the shelter, a few dead leaves padding it now. she could keep warm atleast. but it also ment she'd need to keep awake during the winter to hunt. She usually enjoyed fruit but the cold had killed her main food source.

Shade stood up and turned around. He sighed slowly, his breath fogging in front of him, and he looked around. He really didn't feel like going home. He hated that dingy pile of wood. He COULD stay here, but he didn't feel like his company was welcome. Shade shook his head and took a step blindly into the woods. Confused, he hesitated, unsure of what to do.

[Yua]

She peeked out some. Watching him leave, but not saying anything. Turning and retreating into the home again. Purring to the warm and curling up in a pile of leaves. Some people who might come across the structure might think its empty.

Shade sighed again. He was so confused he had forgotten pretty much everything. He didn't move, he just stood there, blankly staring into the snow covered forest. Shade shivered and fell back into the snow unconcsious.

[Yua]

she poped her head out looking. Usually if people purposfully fall they dont land so heavily. She shivered abit to the snow, but trudged over curious and confused. Chittering abit, she looked around not knowing what to do.
