Gadrai, the (un)fortunate soul to get dragged - kinda - went terribly, terribly red in the face. He was certainly not expecting to be dragged, and his feet, though stumbling, manged to keep himself from actually being truly dragged. He could certainly agree with Bel, but the end result made as much sense as making 'random' predictable. "A-A-A-U-Uh-y-y-s... ...nnn..." He got terribly flustered from being tugged around, the only non-elvish thing sticking about him is pride.

After turning her head for a split second to look at Gadrai, only to find him as bright as a cherry and being dragged along with her quick pace, she came to a stop, taking away her hands and putting them up towards the air like she had just burned herself. Her own cheeks were a bright red and the blush was making its way across her whole face. Giving a bow of apology and then flailing her hands, she gave a flustered reply as her eyes came to a close. Never had she felt so odd. She had seen humans holding hands as they walked through her forest, but never seen a reaction quite like this. Perhaps it was just because she had never really been in human contact? Stuttering, her hands now on her cheeks as she tried to hide her now burning cheeks, she said.
"S-Sorry, I-I didn't mean to hold your......S-sorry! I a-also didn't mean to d-drag...y-you...." Turning around, too embarrassed to say anymore, she was almost ashamed of how odd she was acting. Sure, she usually was weird in the first place, but to do it in front of a person was very embarrassing to say the least. Now, not sure what to do, she remained fixed to the spot, her face now buried in her hands as her whole face was aflame. Her head was buzzing and her body was shaking, especially her hands. Again, her random behavior had caused her to make a fool of herself.

Gadrai realized what his reaction was, and began to take his turn on spewing apologies. "I-It's a-a-alright... ...s-s-sorry for th-the reaction, I-I just... ...d-didn't expect to be d-dragged... ...Or to a-actually l-like being dragged, for that matter." His tone had descended throughout his speech, sound like the more he spoke, the more he became cross with himself. His face was still red, but it was starting to calm down a little.

With her face still buried in her hands, her reply was slightly muffled, but audible. As she spoke, her head was shaking back and forth, causing loose strands of her hair to get tangled in her twisted branches.
"D-Don't apologize! I-It's rude to drag someone....I-....I-I'm sorry." The end of her sentence came out in almost a whisper. Slowly taking her petite hands away from her face, which revealed her still very bright cheeks, she took a slow breath. Opening her closed eyes, she turned towards her knotted hair. In order to try and forgot how she made a utter fool of herself, she concentrated on untangling her hair. So bringing up her hands she began to fumble along her branches and began to slowly untangle her hair, which now had a dark green colour crawling up from the ends, showing that summer was indeed on its way.
As she worked on her hair, she said, casting a quick glance at Gadrai before quickly turning back to her hair.
"This is going to take some time getting used to isn't it?"

Gadrai nodded, with a blush. "A-And honestly... ...I-I-I didn't m-mind being dragged... N-not by you..." There was a higher level of trust evident, and even spoken. Sure, he stuttered, but Gadrai trusted Bel enough to let her drag and tug him as she wished, should her excitement get great. "Seeing you happy... ...is the only treasure I would seek."
He'd completely avoided the 'getting used to' bit for a reason; because he liked Bel as she was. He didn't want her to change; only for Bel to remain herself. Gadrai didn't want to change because change triggers change. He wanted them to last forever as a duo. A couple.

[[ Just want to say now, that Gadrai made me go 'aww' so damn hard. ;;u;; SO DAMN CUTE -flips table- ]]
As he spoke, she remained silent, as she remained so even afterwards until the last lock of hair was free from her branches and fell onto her shoulder. Swallowing, her eyes on the ground, she rubbed her hands together, feeling the nervousness from before creep up on her.
"I've never had someone wish for that before.... sure I've never even spoken so casually to someone before....it's odd..." What she said came out a lot more...'sensitive' then she had hoped. Because it was true, it was odd that she was speaking to someone who wasn't praying to her. Maybe that was why she acted so odd, because she didn't know how to act. What was 'normal'?
Scratching the top of her head, sighing as she did so, she felt something wet drop onto her hand. Perplexed, she brought down her hand, to find that it was water. Which could only mean one thing. Before she could even say to take cover, a bucket full of rain fell down onto the forest, quickly covering everything in its raindrops. Gasping at the cold of the rain, she quickly ran to the shelter of a large tree. How she hated to get wet. It made her feel so cold, especially in this dress. So, rubbing her shoulders furiously, she sat down on the damp grass, bringing her knees close to her as the drop in temperature caused her whole body to shiver. When she was down, she looked at Gadrai through her wet locks which had now fallen to her face, her eyes examining him. Since she had met him, she had not a proper look at him. And it was true what the tales of their race said, they were perfect looking. However, he did have more human features then the few elves she saw. The face slightly angled and such. Minor things.
After staring for a good few seconds, she looked away, giving a soft laugh as she apologized under her breath. With the rain pouring, and thunder booming off far away, she knew they were going to have to stay under this tree for a while, as thunder storms usually lasted an hour or so. Fantastic. Plus, she usually got pretty cold when the temperature dropped like this, which made her feel somewhat vulnerable, even though she trusted Gadrai. Double fantastic.

Gadrai noticed the rain, and seeing the reaction of Bel, he bolted after her, and coiled around the female as best as he could, holding the female in a peculiar hug of sorts. He felt the temperature difference, and began to thank Leaf and Star that he was usually like a radiator. He held onto Bel dearly. "The rain arrived sooner than I anticipated... ...I guess we'll wait here, instead."
It was funny, in a sense. Most of the time, Gadrai never really got close to anyone, and was always stern, or serious. He hadn't felt anyone's contact in decades, other than Bel. He began to enjoy the two being close at a nearly-intimate level. It wasn't just the closeness that he enjoyed, but knowing that he would not only protect Bel, but also keep her warm. Given an hour or so, though, Gadrai would get so comfortable that he'd fall asleep holding onto Bel, but the future was yet to be determined.

As he brought her into a hug, she felt an odd warmth. Having been alone all of her life, besides the animals, she never felt this warmth that came when two bodies were close to eachother. It was comforting. Following her instinct on what to do next, she curled up closer to him and laid her face on his chest, angling her head so her tree branches wouldn't poke his eyes out, which would be unfortunate.
"T-Thanks...." Mumbling her thanks, she stared at the pouring rain to try and take her mind away from the fact that they were so close. She had never felt this warm in this sort of weather before. Or so protected. Sure, she had the animals which flocked to her side when needed, but they were only animals. She could not talk to them and expect a reply. It was lonely only having animals as companions for 200 years. But this loneliness which she thought had clung to her heart forever was beginning to slowly melt away.
As he spoke, she broke away from her deep thoughts and gave a slight nod. It seemed as if they would not be going anywhere anytime soon, the lashing rain and loud thunder confirming this. Luckily the rain was a great distraction, so going back to staring at the rain, she smiled. Lifting her hand up from her knees, she then searched for his, and with a slight hesitation, she held his hand, coiling her slim fingers into his. She attempted to do this as naturally as possibly, but even so, she still felt her cheeks go aflame.

Gadrai didn't mind Bel's hand to snake together with his, and he lightly nuzzled Bel's knee, sighing through his nose contently as he found a better position to nap in while still clinging to Bel. His sleep, however, was now just more apt to arrive sooner - if it wasn't for a fair blush upon his warming-up cheeks. He began to really appreciate the closeness at this point, finding a great, great calming in being with Bel.

Gigging softly as he nuzzled her knee, she took a deep breath, exhaling slowly as she closed her eyes. Not because she was sleeping, but because it just felt natural to do so. Plus the rain had become a sort of mist, so it no longer provided a distraction.
The longer she was in his embrace, the more her heart fluttered. Her cheeks were now a cherry colour as were her lips as she began to bite them. Why did she feel so nervous? It must have been because she was never this close to someone before, yes that was it. Shivering for a moment, she then began to hum to herself. The song she hummed usually gave her peace, and the more she hummed her song, the more her heart calmed itself until she was calm. But something she had not expected was that the warmth would make her sleepy. Making her eyes open to keep herself awake was of no use as soon she closed them once more and fell asleep. As she slept, she buried her face into his chest and loosened her grip on his hand. The sleep she had was the most peaceful she ever had, and so caused a smile on her lips.

Gadrai smiled to the sound of Bel's melodious humming, and didn't even notice that he, too, was beginning to descend into the abyss of slumber. However, since he was with Bel, it was something he was willing to drop into. He fell asleep a small amount of time before Bel's humming had stopped, and a few moments after Bel had stopped, he'd began to hum the remainder in his sleep. He wasn't noticing that Bel's warmth was matching his, and didn't care to; they were together, and she wanted him near as much as he wanted her near. To say it was love was nowhere near a risk; it was truth.

She had no dreams as she slept. She floated in what seemed to be water, but she couldn't tell since blackness surrounded her. Usually this would be considered a nightmare of some sorts, but with Gadrai's humming echoing all around, it caused her to be relaxed, and so was content to float on forever, which she would have, if she didn't wake up for a very large crash from the thunder above.
As her eyes opened slowly, puzzled for a few seconds to where the loud noise came from, she remembred that a thunder storm was going on, hence where the sound came from. Yawning, pushing herself back as she rubbed her eyes, she felt a wet substance dripping down the side of her mouth. Confused, she wiped at it, finding it to be drool. Blushing, she looked down at Gadrai's chest, only to find a wet patch where she drooled.
Placing her hands to her cheeks, she gave an apologetic smile as she bowed her head.
"Sorry!"

Gadrai remained asleep until Bel spoke, and then snapped awake. "Nn?" It was the sound that came from him as he looked around, and noticed Bel's expression. However, he didn't know what the female had said, nor why she looked so... ...peculiar. "What's wrong, Bel?" He was obviously concerned, and was totally unaware that his chest had been drooled on - and wouldn't notice for a bit, yet.

"Huh?"
Realizing that he had not noticed the dark spot of drool, she felt foolish for even bringing it up and apologizing because he would have not even noticed if she didn't bring it up. So, she buried her face in her hands for a moment as she cringed and cursed at her mistake.
"Stupid idiot Bel...why did you say that...." Noticing that she spoke in english, which would be suspicious to Gadrai, she was quick to react, even if it looked as guilty as hell. Taking away her hands and waving them, she replied.
"Oh nothing!" This was followed by a weak laugh, again making her look as guilty as hell. Oh how she hoped he would not examine his chest.

Gadrai felt a cool draft from the drool, and looked down, before looking back to Bel, and noticing that very slight traces of moisture were still evident. He smiled, and shrugged. "You drooled out of exhaustion. I don't get why you're freaking out so much..." Then at that point, he wanted to hug Bel, but before he fully set the thought in motion, he remembered the drool. Since the pause was only a couple of seconds - natural in speech at points - he carried on. "It just means I can't hug you for a bit... ...turn my way, Bel?"
He was going to kiss her when she did turn.
