Once she felt Gadrai's embrace, she shivered for a moment. She couldn't even remember when she was in another's arms. Again, it was an odd feeling, one she was not used to. After he was done speaking, she recovered herself, and with a few sniffles, she rubbed her eyes with the palm of her hands before she looked at him once more. She was pretty much a mess, her eyes being bloodshot, her cheeks a bright red and her hair in a mess, of course that was nothing new. Looking towards the ground, too shy to look at him direct in the eye, she then asked, in a soft voice.
"Y-You really are serious about....l-loving me t-then...?" Even saying the word 'love' made her cringe. It really was true what humans said about love, it really did make you feel odd things and make you feel vulnerable. She had never felt like this before, it was something she couldn't describe.

Gadrai nodded. "I am." However, he really didn't have much more to say, despite wanting to convey so much! His mind was trying to find words aside from 'love', and was tracing blanks. He was much less shy than Bel, but was slightly glad that she didn't look his way. He realized the gladness, and his thought track went to one thing: Does she love me in return?
He finally asked, after a dozen seconds. His stuttering, though, was because once he spoke, he felt awkward, exposed, and almost out-of-place, though still asking. "D-Do you... ...Do you love me... ...i-in return?"
(( I LOVE this RP! ^.^ ))

Of course, hearing the dreaded question, she couldn't help but hesistate. But, eventually, she answered, her voice still soft, almost a whisper as she too stumbled over the words, but mostly because she wasn't sure how to phrase it properly in old elvish.
"I....I don't know. I mean, I don't know what I should be feeling...I don't know what love feels like...I..." Trailing off towards the end, unable to describe how she felt further, she pressed a hand to her chest. Still looking down, she knew she wouldn't be able to look in his eyes, still being shy, but also fearing the reaction he would have. She didn't want to become alone again. It was weird, it was almost as if she were reacting to this as a human would, not a goddess. Usually she would be calm about most things, give stable replies, and yet here she was, almost acting like a teenage human, stuttering over her words and such and having these weird feelings.

Gadrai facepalmed, about ready to curse himself. Of course Bel wouldn't know. "Right... ...I forgot that... ...D-Do you... ...want to s-stay by me too...?" He was basically re-throwing his question. Sometime, he and Bel would be able to communicate better, but the fact they were communicating at all was impressive. He counted his blessings, and awaited Bel's response, both eager, and yet, afraid. It was his turn to fear rejection.

Finally picking up her courage, she raised her head, looking at him straight in the eyes. As she spoke, again soft, she smiled as she picked up her hand and gave his nose a soft little poke with her middle finger. An odd gesture to be sure, but she couldn't think of anything else to do at that time.
"I would like the company....it gets lonely, being alone for so long..." Bringing back her hand, she then began to laugh softly, tears beginning to appear in her eyes once more as she added.
"As long as you don't mind....being with a weirdo like me."

Gadrai flinched at the term 'weirdo'. He was offended by it; truly offended. "You are no 'weirdo'! You, moreso than I do, have place in the Wood! Don't call yourself by such an outlandish term... ...please..." He realized he might've (definitely, actually) over-reacted, now. "I apologize... ...that came out harsher than I intended. But Bel... ...'strange' is relative. You may be foreign to all others, but all others are just as foreign to you. To me, Bel, you're no 'weirdo'. You just... ...are. Nonetheless, by your grace, I welcome you to stay by my side."
((Bel just the only possible boo-boo: insulting herself.))

Quick to realize the mistake which she made, she was about to apologize, but found she didn't want to interrupt him, so she opted to stay silent for now until after he was done talking. Towards the end, she found herself that she was practically grinning. Not hesitating, since she was used to doing it to travelers, she kissed Gadrai's forehead lightly.
"Thank you Gadrai." Bringing herself back after the kiss, she looked up towards the sky, and seeing how dark it was beginning to get, she gave a soft sigh and raised herself. Brushing off the pollen from the flowers, she then looked down at Gadrai and said.
"Sorry, I would like to stay a bit longer, but I have to stay true to my duties as well. I'm due to make another prayer soon, we have to move." Saying the word 'we', even if it was in old elvish, she couldn't help but smile once more. It was a term she hardly ever used.

Gadrai nodded. "Let us move, if that is your wish, and I shall follow." He smiled both from the kiss, and from Bel proposing movement; sitting in one spot after a while made Gadrai a little restless - a peculiar trait for an elf. Together, we walk. Together, we will be 'us'. Together, the Wood shall know true grace.
He began to find comfort in 'we', instead of 'I'. He was sure Bel felt the same way. He awaited for Bel to begin to move, as she was setting the path for now. She had a task to immediately do, whilst his task was passive, and depended on him discovering whatever needed to have action taken. It was simple, really; instead of paving his own path, he just followed Bel to do his 'job'. It wasn't official, but that was the way the Wood worked.

With a nod and a soft smile, she then turned on her eyes, and whispering her goodbyes to the flowers, began to slowly walk through them, trying to avoid crushing too many flowers. Again, as they had greeted her, they also said farewell, as the touched her legs. Not many people would see this as a goodbye, but to her it was. And to her, that was all that mattered, regardless of what other people though.
Once she had stepped back among the shadows of the trees, she gave a shiver, the temperature dropping as the glow of the sun was not on them. Turning around to face Gadrai, a motion she found made her rather shy as she met his eyes, she said, keeping her voice level to hide her insecurities.
"It's just a bit of a walk until we reach our destination. Then after I do my duty, that'll be it, until night falls upon us." After saying this, she then continued walking, humming a light tune under her breath. She was grateful that her duties were distracting her for the moment of her hummingbird heartbeat and mixed feelings, of course she knew that she would have to face them after her prayers. This thought made her wince for a split second, making her feel once more like a human teenager.

Gadrai nodded. "I will assist where my hands can, then. I hope them enough to be of assistance, rather than burden." He'd emotionally stung himself with an idea, now; what if he was no help to Bel? Or, worse yet, what if he posed a problem? Masking the underlaying emotional pain, Gadrai stepped quickly to catch to up Bel, and quickly pecking the female's cheek, smiling. "Let us also enjoy the trip." (( Don't worry, I'm getting swamped for a while, too. ))

As he kissed her, even if it was short, she again found herself to be blushing once again. She was never kissed on the cheek in her whole life, and now she had been kissed twice. In one day. Saying yet again to herself, this was quite an odd day.
After walking through the forest for a good hour or so, Bel came to a slow stop. Around them it was dark, the trees being so tall with leaves that covered the sun's beams, although beams of light broke through in random parts, making it so the area was slightly illuminated. Although this area looked intimidating, it was another holy place, to which she was to preform her prayer. At first this placed did intimidate her, but after being her for so long, she grew used to the shadows. Plus the bird songs did lighten the mood in the area.
Taking a deep breath, closing her eyes, she stood up on her tip toes and took two steps forward. Then, beginning to sing a tune which had an odd sound to it, she began to twirl around, avoiding any tree which came too close with ease. Like among the flowers, her nightdress formed a cupcake shape as it too twirled with her. As her singing began to quicken, she moved her hands up and down, as if she were conducting a symphony. Then, abruptly, she stopped her twirling and her singing. Bringing her hands down by her sides, and going back on the soles of her feet, she exhaled. Opening her eyes slowly, blinking quickly as if she woke from a dream, she then nodded, crossing her arms, speaking in english as she had forgotten to speak in old elvish.
"Done. Yes, that went well. I didn't stumble. Yes yes." She mostly said this to herself, so even though she remembered that she had spoken in english, she found no point in translating.
[[ Again sorry for hardly being on, homework I meant to do at the start of the break is catching up on me OTL;; ]]

Gadrai watched Bel's movements, and he found himself smiling at a moderate distance, fear never even laying a touch on him. He admired the movements, and surprisingly didn't back up as at one point, Bel's hand missed his face by an inch. He didn't know, despite Bel speaking in English to the effect, that she was finished. As a result, he stood, and kept waiting. He remained almost statue still. If it wasn't for his breathing, he would've actually been statue-still. If it wasn't for he and Bel having a thing, regarding Gadrai as 'creepy' would've been a vert easy task.
(( I don't know what progress to make, since Gadrai can't understand English... OTL ))

Uncrossing her arms, casting a glance towards Gadrai, only to see that he was standing still. Tilting her head to the side, not understanding as to why he wasn't moving, until a few moments later. Breaking into a laugh, she was quick to say that she was done.
"Ah sorry, I'm done now, you can move." Taking a few steps forward, until she was in front of him, she gave a smile and bowed her head quickly as she said.
"Thank you, for being so patient as I did my prayers. I usually do them alone, so I never think about how long they are." Running her slim fingers over her twisted tree branches once more, casting her eyes to the ground, she then spoke once more, although it was obvious that she relied on Gadrai for the answer, as she had no idea what to do.
"So, what would you like to do now? I don't have to send off another prayer until night time." And since it was still midday, they were going to have to spend another good few hours alone together, which made her quite nervous.
[[ Sorry again for the late reply OTL ]]

Gadrai pondered for a moment, and then smirked. "We should make our way to the next place, and before the prayer, we'll enjoy each other's closeness." He smiled at the idea - they could travel much slower, if they wished, or fool around en route, or... ...whatever. "Or figure it out as we go, right?" His heart was thudding, his nervousness demanding escape, but like any elf, he was difficult to read at times. If he kept up, though, he would end up a nervous wreck.
((I'm chill.))

"Hmm....yes, I suppose we should move, this area is rather dark to say the least." Anyone would agree with her on this, as the shadows which lurked between the closely knit trees were rather menacing looking to a new person who came across this place. Plus this area was a lot cooler than most places in this forest, and it was not an ideal place to talk and whatnot.
Turning on her toes, walking past Gadrai, her cheeks flushing a light pink as she did so, she began to poke at her small nose as she took small steps, her eyes cast upwards. As she walked, she thought out loud, her lips pushed upwards in a pout and her eyebrows squished themselves together.
"What to do...where to go....decisions...decisions..." Then, not really thinking too much about her next action, she spun back around to Gadrai. With a bright smile on her face, she swiftly grabbed his hand and began to pull him alongside her, pointing ahead of her as she walked.
"Let's go somewhere nice! Somewhere where the sun is bright, I'm freezing!" Her sudden odd behavior was mostly due to her being very nervous and so she acted suddenly without much thought, hence, as the fact that she held his hand set into her mind, that her blush from before darkened, but she tried to hide it by placing her hair over her cheeks.
[[ Super sorry for the late reply! I'm off this week, so hopefully I'll get to reply a lot quicker. Hopefully... OTL ]]
