"I am no Little girl! You highly underestimate me Sir!" Lyndi spat at him. Although she never had time to finish hissing back at him. His friend pointed up to the walls where there were at least a hundred archers aiming their arrows at the three of them.
Lyndi was so scarred she was going to get hit. She shifted into a falcon without thinking and flew high and fast away from the arrows. She was high enough now that the archers couldn't reach her. She turned to look back at the ground and saw that the two men hadn''t been hit. she was currious as to how they weren't hit, but she really couldn't stick around much longer. Her talent would be discovered once again, and she would need to escape quickly if she didn't want her own mob hunting her down.
She herd the handsom man challenge them again, 'Does he want to get himself killed?' She thought as she flew out of the city.
She landed just outside the city where the forest started. She found some thick bushes and shifted into her elven form. Then she ran to the spot where she was supposed to meet Omio. Hopefully he was already waiting for her. They were going to need to make a quick escape.

His patience was wearing - although once in a while, he could make out a person - most of them weren't Lyndi - until the last one. She was running - as if to escape. Well then, time for my patented extreme escape trick. He readied a smoke bomb as a back-up procedure, and his dagger, just in case it was a rather hot persuit. Stealth wouldn't matter as much this time, but it would help. He sorted out his paints, and got most of the greens and browns ready. They were going to take to the denser of bush, and anyone searching there, regardless of skill, wouldn't be able to find much.
If she has explosives, I think I'd be able to get ourselves a nature-boosted fortress.

"Go on!" Raven shouted at the walltop archers, "Do your worst!"
"My Lord, perhaps now would be the best time to make our leave." Francis urged his master.
"Yes. It would appear I was outsmarted." Raven walked backward until he was out of arrow range. When he came upon the path into the forest, he exploded.
"How could this have happened?" he screamed at Francis, "This is impossible! Did I not use enough magic to sway those incompetent bunglers? Perhaps my silver tongue is getting rusty. That fat, walking bauble! How could he have outspoken me? If I recall correctly, the fat on his throat made him spittle while he spoke. He had to have had help."
Raven froze at a revelation, "There could be a reason that stupid girl tried to stop me. Of course! She was helping Gossrir! She was stalling me until the archers got into position!" Raven began to stride down the path, his kimono becoming akin to a ranger's outfit. "Make a note of her, Francis. If I ever come across her again, I may not be able to rinse all the blood from my kimono."

"OMIO!" Lyndi screamed. She found him by the bush where they said they would meet. "Omio we need to get out of here now! I can't explain it all right this second, but I will tell you I shifted in front of mass people. I thought I was going to die. I just used it as a defense. I'm sorry but we have to get out of here." Lyndi rambled.
Lyndi stood there impatiently as Omio was doing something with the things he bought. "Where they the paints?" Lyndi thought. She decided she would find out later, now it was time to run.

He was right. More than right. If he didn't nail it so close to the button, he would've blared questions. "Ok. Follow me, keep calm, and MOVE." He would've picked up and carried Lyndi, but that would decrease velocity by 36%, although camoflage rating would increase by 41%. But that didn't matter now. They both needed to move, and fast. He then took a rather quick lead - a somewhat distant one, too - just in case of frontal ambush, the other person has time to react. Back to the situation, Omio then screamed as he lead the pair eastward "WE'LL PAINT YOU LA--" He stopped to nearly get ambushed from the front - almost as if it were expected. This was going to be easy to handle though. This person was wearing rather heavy armor - though thick and extremely strong, still pretty heavy. The axe he had was slightly lighter than the armor, but still damn heavy. Omio then remembered upon a furious moment, and used the rage to fuel him. The man of heavy armor then swung - horizontally. That's the wrong way to swing when dealing with an agile person. Omio jumped, used the axe as a stepping stone, dove just above his head, and lodged his dagger in the only soft spot - the neck. This wasn't no soft lodge, either - it was in DEEP. Omio then looked at the heavy suit bitterly and said "Don't try it again." He left the man there to rot, with the dagger still lodged in, and kept moving - speed was key, not equipment. Omio could get a new dagger, but not a new head. He then kept moving, the space between him and Lyndi reversed, almost. He had no doubt she knew where they were going to go though.
Grrrk, I hate it when I have to do that. Next time, I'm going to get a fist spike. They're expensive, but they'll be worth it after a dozen or so daggers. I'll have to do without for a long while, though.
((Let's see how long this is... My guess is probably almost an essay in pt. 12))

"Hmm..." Raven mused as he investigated the face-down body.
"My Lord, we should leave here before someones comes and sees us. It would be suspicious." Francis urged his master.
"An expert blow, though one of desperation." Raven explained, ignoring his servant's plea. "The killer was very agile. The hilt has grip indentations, but on the wrong side of the wound, indicating he either stabbed the larger man while diving over him,"
"Or stabbed him with the dagger in an inverted grip while the knight's back was turned." Francis butted in.
"No. The foot marks on this side of the body are heavier than those on the other, meaning he had to have jumped over his victim."
"If you say so, my Lord." Francis sighed with defeat.
"This could be used to our advantage. If we denounce the murderer in a city, we will automatically gain favor. Keep the dagger," he wrenched the blade from its deep wound with a gloved hand, "in this," he cut off a portion of cloth that grew to the dimensions of a sack. Raven tied it off, then handed it to Francis. "Now, to find our murderer." Raven said with enthusiasm as he set off again down the forest path.

Lyndi ran along after Omio. She was going to shape shift but it was too risky. She might be seen by someone. Omio ran ahead slaying guards in the way. She followed as quickly as she could. She wasn't too worried about how silently she moved, she was just worried about the disstance she was putting between her and the city.
Eventually though Lyndi couldn't keep up. She slowed down to a walk and hoped Omio would slow down and come back for her. She stopped by a tree and leaned against it to catch her breath. She listened intently to the forest around her. At first she just herd the birds calling to each other. Bickering and singing. And the squirls swirling in the branches above. After a few minutes though she could hear foot steps. There was someone comming, or a few someones.
Lyndi hid behind a large tree and peeked around the edge to see the handsome but strange man she had met earlier that day, and his very weird sidekick. She stepped out from behind the tree she was hideing behind.
"So, how did you get out of town? You were surrounded by archers. And unharmed? That's impossible?!" She said sort of shocked to see him.

He noticed her slow down - since she was in the lead - and stopped with her. He noticed that she was stopping for two people. "We can't risk having anyone know our whereabouts, Lyndi - unless you want to risk getting hunted do--" He noticed one of the two was Raven. His tone changed from tired-but-serious to an interested, and more polite tone. "...Well, scratch the 'risk' part. Raven, it's been a while since we've last seen each other. I never thought I'd see you, especially with my end of it being almost stuck in a quagmire." His head clued in to what Lyndi said. Except the first question - that was just plain inaudible. "Oh, Lyndi, about your questions to Raven... Raven's good at that type of thing. I have my own type of thing to be good at. Let's leave it to 'He did his thing, and it worked. That's how he's here.' and leave Raven to his own devices - I'm more than sure he has his reasons to be out here." If he's investigating about that guard that was about to behead me, then he's got another thing coming. Let's just hope he avoids that altogether, so I can drag it in slowly, and watch as the entire bush of conversation gets burned.

Raven's fair features contracted in concentration. "Omio, is it not," he said, spacing the syllables in the name, "It has been a while. I am surprised I did not recognize you earlier. Still curt and to the point, I see."
He turned his deep eyes to Lyndi. "Their arrows fell victim to a rippling sea of blue cloth, drowned by the depths." He paused a moment to remove his feathered cap and scratch his brow. He then readjusted his leather jerkin and tapped his boots against each other to knock off any dirt on them. "And as to that, you owe me your life. Without my ability, you would have been a veritable, albeit pretty, pincushion.
"And since we are in each other's friendly company, we not have a pleasant chat? Francis, kindly fetch me my cup."
Francis smiled sheepishly. "My Lord, you put it away."
"Ah, I see." Raven said reluctantly. "My friends, everyone wears a mask, but I think pretenses wear thin." His flawless ranger gear melted into a collage of silky blue. Raven ruffled his kimono to banish any wrinkles. He made as if to sit and a comfortable cloth chair formed from the backside of his kimono. He then began to rummage through ever-shifting pockets in his kimono before drawing out an ornate cup and saucer. He set the two delicately on his lap. "Please, you two, do sit." He made a motion his hand and two identical chairs formed, a strip of cloth connecting them each to one sleeve.
"I hope to assume that neither of you were involved in the murder back there?" he asked politely, taking a sip from his cup that smelled strongly of grape and pomegranate.

"Owe you my life?! I escaped myself, so I owe you nothing other than a thanks for knowing that if I hadn't escaped you would have saved my life." Lyndi hissed at him.
She was about to continue but she herd him ask about a cup to his companion and then he sat, and made chairs from his Kimono. Lyndi had never seen anything like it. It was amazing. She sat down hesitantly. She was afraid the Kimono would come up and wrap itself around her. She wasn't about to be contained.
She stood up again," I just remebered we are in a hurry, maybe we can chat nicely another time. Don't you agree Omio?"

He noticed yet more desire for haste within Lyndi. Needless haste - especially seeing her exhaustion. "You're not quite up to snuff yet, Lyndi. We can relax for now." His attention went to Raven. "What would you rather; someone chopped in half by an axe, which would've been me, or that guard with a dagger lodged in his neck? I'd prefer to keep living, especially when I've done naught as of yet. Unless I'm STILL being suspected for other stuff, too..." Time to be open. If he was closed about it, it would indeed lead to quite a mess of stuff. Once of which is being hunted. Now to make sure that the person thoguht on their toes, and knew what they were really intending "Why do you ask? Planning on turning me in, or some of the such?"

"An act of self-defense, then?" Raven mused, his voice masking his disappointment. "I planned on turning someone in. And, to answer your other question, Francis?" he motioned for his servant to come hither, then whispered in his ear, "Which sleeve did I put the list in?"
"The left one, Lord. The cup goes in your right, remember?"
"Ah, yes, how foolish of me. Thank you, Francis." Raven began to pull folds of cloth out of his already stretched left sleeve until he came to a little black book sewn into the fabric. He opened the unattached cover and flicked through the pages, muttering, "Blackmail, blackmail, tribute, servitude...If you had done anything naughty, Omio, I have not heard about it."
He shuffled the book back into his ever-flowing sleeve and went back to his tea of grape and pomegranate. No, now orange, lime, and other citrus fruits. "However, Omio, the only reason a person would ask such a question as that would be because they suspect they are suspected. The guilty conscious has a way of tripping the tongue into betraying itself.
"Tell me, Omio," he leaned forward in his chair, "do you have anything to hide?" As he spoke these words, a hush fell over the forest, his words then resonating upon the very air, compelling even the trees to give up their darkest secrets, had they been asked.

"My, you know how to pluck the strings. Nonetheless, I cannot avoid your question, for it would be rude. I do hiding to do, but it is not things as it is myself. I am doing so to teach this one here how to hide for herself if such a time is needed. And I have quite a feeling that the time will be soon. Going a different direction, I haven't been near town much, so I know not the commotion inside. I'm merely in for supplies, and back out. You can't live without the correct supplies, and the supplies I grab allow me to hide easier. I'll let you put the pieces together."Oops, typo. -

Lyndi sat back down. Still a little tense. She didn't like being so close to the village. What if the mob came after them? She let it go. She wouldn't leave Omio, and he seemed to be haveing a calm talk with Raven.
Lyndi was still amazed with Raven's Kamino. It could do almost anything. Lyndi didn't have anything to say so she listend silently and perfectly still like a squirl decideding weather it should zip away into hiding or not. The ugre to get away wasn't as stong as before but it was still there.
When Omio said he was teaching Lyndi how to hide, she flinched a little. She really didn't want anyone else to know why she had to hide. Although she wasn't quite sure if Raven and his companion francis knew her secret. She just remaind silent, and hoped for the best.

Raven's eye glittered with the recognition of the girl's uneasiness. He let a smug smile spread across his face. "You realize, Omio, that allowing me to put the pieces together almost always ends in disaster for the other. Though, seeing as we are in friendly company, I shall let it, slide, as the commoners put it. I must point out, however, those one who hides from the world usually has something else to hide besides his poor visage."
He took another dainty sip from his teacup, now smelling strongly of cake frosting. "Why so silent, my dear?" Raven cooed, turning his deep eyes on the girl. "Surely you must have something to add to the conversation. Everyone has something to hide. But, if you insist on sitting there like a squirrel who has lost his winter stores, then perhaps I should be off."
Raven stowed his teacup into his right sleeve and moved to the edge of his well-cushioned chair. "But tell me, my dear, was it naivety or some other purpose that led you to stall me while we were still in the city?" Francis was about to answer his master's question out a sudden compulsion, but stopped himself, remembering it was the girl who was asked.
