Damien scowled, subconciously scanning the plains for Wompy. "And why are you still following us? or leading, I suppose. Why are you so interested in us?" He stood, wincing slightly. He didn't sheath his sword. He trusted Derek even less than he did before, if it was possible. If humans were unpredictable, what about a dragon? They had to be worse.
"And why do you want to go back to town?" He added. That was the last thing he wanted to do right then. Wompy was there. Maybe Derek was sided with wompy, and was luring them into a trap. "Samuel, what do you think? Should we go back?"

Samuel remained stunned, even after Damien had fallen to the ground. He gawked up at the beast, unable to comprehend what he was seeing. It was as if he was living a folk tale of Old. He shook his head and stumbled backwards, pushing himself against a tree to keep balance. It couldn't be happening. Dragons aren't real. Within three months, he'd gone from a reasonably quiet boy living near a lake then a journeying man looking for adventure, to a warrior who was being hunted by a ex-comrad and who was now stood infront of something he didn't believe had exsisted.
"I...don't know..." He stammered, now feeling slightly dizzy. He lowered himself to the ground and exhaled. Everything seemed to hit him at once. Dragons did exsist. Wompy would probably kill him, wheither the dragon was on their side or not.

Damien turned from the giant lizard back to Samuel, who seemed to be going into shock. He had sank to the ground and was breathing qiuckly, and he seemed disorientated.
"Samuel, it's allright. Take deep breaths," he said, taking a few steps closer, though never turning his back to the massive thing before them. He glared at derek. "This is your fault," He growled. What do yo want with us? We didn't do anything to you ever. We didn't even know you until all of an hour ago.

Derek laughed lightly and looked at both of them. "I'm not going to eat you. Humans don't taste that well. If I wanted to kill you I would have done it a while ago. Probably among the chaos back at the city. Honestly your both safer then you where a while ago. Trust me."
Predictable, hmm...well humans don't trust others that well, might as well gain the trust of these two. This might possibly become a blood fest, not one I would like to see.
"As far as going back to that other city, I didn't suggest such a choice, I said we should continue, and your friend, or well enemy now, I have nothing to do with him. So if you think I'll lead you into a trap, your wrong to think such a thing." Derek said letting out a light sigh, "I'm aligned with those that are neutral."
Although him being in Dragon form scared them, he was sure they would turn and face the fact he wouldn't harm them.

Samuel nodded. Following Damien's adivce, he took several deep breaths and gradually returned to a more reasonable state. He looked up, first at Damien then at the large beast.
"How are we supposed to trust you if we're sure your human then suddenly a dragon appears and then you turn into one yourself? Explain that!" Samuel yelled, ignoring the fact that if he yelled any louder someone would probably hear him. He sighed, using the tree again and getting to his feet.

Damien stood from his kneeling position by Samuel. "Answer the questions, or we're going no where," He growled, his voice poisonous. Yes, he was afraid, but he was a master at hiding his emotions.
Damien held his sword upright, not to attack, but rather as a defense. He knew it wouldn't do much, but having some eapon was better than having none, even if it was useless against the dragon.

Talon growled, opening his jaws just wide enough for some Shadow Breath to come out, but not enough to harm either of them. "I'm a outcast of my dragon species, having found out the true nature of what we call Wyrm's. Much like your changling's. Except we can only change from Dragon to Humans. My Dragon Species are known as Shadow Dragons, we are just another form of Black Dragons, we come from what we call the Shadow Realm. What you humans call, hell. Except it's pitch black, no eternal fire."
That should provide them with enough information for now. Talon thought, seeing Damien raise the sword, Talon moved his head back and gave another growl. "Your weapon won't work against me, however I will not provoke you to use it in any manners, nor will I disarm you of it."

Damien flinched as some sort of shadowy substance puffed from Derek's mouth. He paused for a moment. Dragons from hell? Whatever. It wouldn't be the strangest thing to hear in the past day.
"Samuel," Damien called. "Ar eyou okay? Can you walk?" He asked. I can help you get to wherever the dragon wants us to go. To a town, from what I've heard." He turned to the massive black figure. "There is no way in hell we're walking on front of you," He said. "If your making us go anywhere, we're walking on your side or behind you." The last thing he wanted was to be walking in front and get stepped on or have the dragon change his mind about letting them live.

"Yes, I can walk. But I don't intend on moving too far from him." He muttered, gesturing towards the dragon. He still didn't trust Derek, even after he had told them what he was and that he would not hurt them. He supposed it was from having trusted Wompy before and having him turn on them right in front of them.
He steadied himself then began to limp towards the dragon, though heading towards the side of him.

Talon growled again and watched Samuel. "Fine." He said as he began walking, slowly, back into the dark forest. "I suggest you keep up the best you can." Talon said looking back towards the two humans.
It would have been in their best interest to walk in front, after all. I'm not that careless.

Daien glared and walked slowly after the Dragon, about five paces to Samuel's side.
"Where do you think we're going?" He muttered so the Dragon, he hoped, wouldn't hear. He had no cloe, maybe they had ultrasonic hearing or something. "He's heading towards the forest. Last I checked we were going to a town." He sighed. The forest, again. After they had hiked all day to get out of it, had been attacked by a massive beast and a army of goblins, and he had been set upon by a pack of demon wolves nd nearly killed until Wompy hadsaved him. He scowled. Being saved by him meant he was indebted to him, to a theif and a traitor.
Of course. The day just got better and better.

Samuel shrugged, constantly keeping his eyes on Derek. "I don't think I want to go back into the forest...I'd rather face Wompy again." He replied, recalling the previous days events just as vividly as he'd first seen them. The images that flashed through his head sent shivers down his spine. Each battle they encounted. Each monster they killed. Each wound they recived. All speeding through his had at one time.

Damien nodded and kept going, never taking his eyes of of the massive black dragon. His thoughts whirred through his head over and over. The day, including yesterday, would rank on his top worst days. Worse than last time the Hunters caught him.
Damien, for the hundreth time, swept his eyes over the plains, not seeing a sign of the traitor he searched for. He sighed in releif, but cut it shot, remembering they were headed to the forest again.
"Umm..Derek? Mind telling me where you're taking us?" He called to him. "Last you said we were heading to a town. The forest has no towns in it."

Wompy was tired of waiting so he bundled up all the loot and left it the arranged spot, and strode out in to the street and started to make his way up to the next town.

Ki was high in a tree, sitting high on his tail idly, eating a nut, nibbling away when he began to hear voices. One of them came clear to him."Last you said we were heading to a town. The forest has no towns in it." This got him curious, and he moved himself slightly forward, looking down to see two humans and a large scaly thing he never saw before; walking side-by-side. This was when he lost balance, and fell forward - which resulted in him squeaking a bit as he fell. "KiiiIIIK--" Thump. Right on the dragon's head. Ki bounced off, and landed on the dragon's back, coiled in a ball for a moment before he got up and shook its head. After that, it went on a tyrade. "KI! Ke-ki-ki-ke-ki-ke-ki-ki-ki!" As if to complain to the dragon.
The little red furball looked to be adorable to almost anyone - rather harmless, too. For it to be trying to complain to a dragon was just outright comical. After the tyrade, however, the dragon felt warm, and he coiled up once again. He made a slight note of contentment. "Kiii..." It used its own tail as a blanket and a pillow - because it was long enough to do so. However, trying to sleep on the dragon made him slide off, and fall once again - not as rough this time. He hit the ground, but then used its tail to make leaping jumps to get back to the dragon rather quickly - using its tail to launch itself up onto the dragon's back once again.(( Just felt like joining this. x3 Hope you all don't mind.))
