Ki flew at a tree, but he used his tail as a spring, bouncing off of the tree, and launching himself back at the showy figure at full speed. He spun in the air, and curled into a wheel shape, flying over and whipping him once again with his tail.

the tail whipped shadow hard in the back of the head the pain sent him reeling forward, he got up and threw his head back and screamed. it was a scream of pain and anger, but as he did his arm regrew itself back but painfully. "is that all you got." shadow said challenging the fools

Damien jumped back from the raging shadow-person quickly. Yep, he could be hurt. He smiled as the red furrball smacked it in the head with it's tail. It had guts.

Damien waited, hearing the shadow's challenge and watching it's arm grow back. He grinned, a gleam in his eye that wasn't quite right, that was only present during fights. "All I got? Not by any stretch. I'm tired, of fighting. But if you insist on hurting anyone else in this clearing, I swear I will do everything in my power to kil you."

Damien readied himself. Adrenaline replaced some of his weariness. With samuel still badly injured, he didn't want him hurt any farther. Derek was making no obvious moves to do anything to help, and the little animal was, well, small, he was the one in the best shape. Still, he knew he would need help. Will alone wasnt enough to mask his fatigue and weakness. In fact, his challenge was a boast. He didn't think he could kill much at present. Stil, he could give it a hell of a try.

haha shadow felt the madness take him, he raced forward. Slashed his claws at the man with the sword not waiting for Damien to react he then aimed a kick at Damiens head.

Ki landed on the ground, and once he did, he spun himself, sending his tail to the shadow's feet, going to knock the balance outright off if he hit hard enough - hopefully. It was vile, and he could only help in taking it out.

"Damien! Watch out!" Samuel shouted, throwing a nearby stone towards the shadow man's head. He didn't entirly know if it would hit, but he hoped it would. His vision was a little blured from his hit to the head, but it seemed to be going in the right direction.

The rock hit the Shadow, giving Damien baerly enough time to jump away and avoid the Shadow's kick.

"Thanks, samuel!" He shouted, swinging violently with all his strength at the Shadown's head

Blasted fool, shadow thought as he was hit with the rock. Grabbing the rock before it hit the ground, he stuck it inside himself. figuring he would get that foolish boy back with that same rock. while doing that he had gelected to get out of the way of Damien's sword, Shadow was sliced cleanly in half. he lay there for a moment then began to pull himself back together, screaming in anger and pain the whole time. Where was his servant he needed back up, Shadow Wished he could fight to fullest of his abillities but he figured that he need not tip his hand just yet. Jumping back a few feet he recovered himself and shot forward and drove his claws into Damien's other hand.

"Damien!" Samuel cursed, breifly noticing something small speeding towards him. He felt something sharp hit in on the head, burning with pain. He cursed loudly and unshealthed his sword. "Come here and do that again!" He jeered, feeling a cool trickle of blood stream down his face, blending with his unnatural scar. He scowled, limping forwards.

Shadow turned slowly twoards the man, "what." YOu dare to challenge me, your nothing more than a pup. A small kicked dog who hides behind the strong ones and shows just enough courage so that they dont kick him out on his own. Well you little cur, Shadow back handed him so hard he fell down, what are you going to do now. Shadow shot out the beams of blackness and bound Damien up tightly. You have no one to protect you now

[WolfEnchantress]

Damien screamed as the tendrils of Shadow squeezed him. "You bastard," He growled, writhing. You dont' go around attacking only those that are injured! Only a coward would stoop so low as to that!" As he spoke he felt the tendrils tighten, and desperately tried to move his sword. Finally, he realized that it wouldn't work, and he bent his head to the closest tendril and bit it hard, shaking his head like a dog trying to free himself and hoping the Shadow wasn't some kind of poison.

Oh stop your whining you pathetic dog, Shadow shouted at the now trapped Damien. Or i will cut out your bones and drink the marrow from them

"And you nothing more than a shadow!" Samuel yelled back as Shadow's hand knocked him to the ground. He yelled in pain as his swollen ankle hit the ground, paralyzing his leg. He cursed, watching Damien from the corner of his eye. "Coward!" He yelled to Shadow, attempting to distract him. "You fight like a coward!"

[WolfEnchantress]

Damien spat the foul taste of the shadow-thing from his mouth. Apparently biting didn't work. He looked around for Ki. Was he okay? And what about Derek, who had yet to even act? He couldn't see him from his trapped position.

"Let..me..GO!" He roared, tensing every single muscle in his body and flexing his arms and legs outwards. With any luck the shadowy bindings would break. He shok from the effort and felt hs side ooze blood, and pressed against the bindings harder.

((So if Derek is still a no show in a few posts, any ideas what to do? We could run, or be chased or something, and if derek turns up and decides to post again he can always have his dragon follow us. If not, we can leave him in the woods or something. ??it's getting hard to play around the character.))

Shadow strode up to Samuel, picked him up and slammed him down. he was just about to drive his claws deep into his chest when the rosey finger tips of dawn started to come over the trees. Shadow schreeched, aaaah why now i was so close. he sped off fast as possible into the darker gloomier part of the forest where he could hide and plot. Damien's bonds dissapated when the sun touched them. ((i figure that we should just have him kinda dissapear for a while))
