He followed her upstairs and removed his shirt. He walked towards the bed. "Thanks for this. " He said, laying down. "For the help."

Raine smiled and pulled the salve from her belt, rubbing some into her hands and rubbing it gently on his bruises. She made sure to work the salve into his skin to take effect and help ease the pain he felt. "Its the least I can do. You helped me so much with my family."

Samuel winced as her hands touched the purple marks on his back. He could feel the salve cooling the patches, easing the pain. He smiled slightly, stareing straight ahead.

"Are you starting to feel better?" She asked gently, massaging it into his skin. She pulled her hands away and looked over at him, brushing her hands against her pants. She turned around, waiting for him to put his shirt back on. "So, Samuel. How are you doing? about...yesterday...."

He nodded. "It's beginning to take the pain away. It doesn't hurt as much." He replied, giving her a thankful smile. Once she had finished, he stood up and pulled his shirt back over his head. He turned around and faced her.

"Yesterday? It was an interesting day. Though I didn't understand what you had done to anger the man."

Raine closed her eyes. "My existance angered him. I'm a half demon and a half witch. Two species that should have never intermingled. They want me because of something I did...." She looked away.

"Come on. Your surely not the only halfbreed in exsitance." He sighed, placing his hands on her shoulders. "Whatever you did can't be that bad. I'm sure people have done worse."

Raine opened her mouth a little and then closed it, shutting her eyes at the same time. She thought for a second and felt at first uneasy with his hands on her shoulders. But she relaxed almost instantly.
But she still didn't want to say it.

"I killed my father."

He tried his best not to act surprised though the emotion crept through his eyes. "Still I'm sure people have done worse." He began before choosing to be quiet.

"Maybe.. Still it doesn't make up for what I did. No matter the circumstances..no one should kill their own father.he was a great person. Even if he was from that demons tribe. But...he couldn't ignore the demons instinct to kill forever, as couldn't I." She looked down. "I am sorry if I frightened you."

Samuel sighed, letting go of her shoulders and dropped down onto the side of the bed. "It's better than not knowing him." He muttered under his breath. "No..no. It's okay." He added, looking up at her with a faint smile.

"Samuel..do you really intend to stay with me?" Raine asked again, looking into his eyes with her own purple. "I dont want to frighten you or anything. I just live a dangerous life. Getting more blood on my hands may make me lose control. I wont let anyone else die because of me. I made that vow, after Danny died." Her heart hurt to talk about it. Her love, Danny.

"Yes I intend staying with you, but only if you are willing to accept it." He replied. He had already grown to hate Richard aand would probably stop at nothing to see him dead.

Raine nodded. " All right then. Just try not to die kay?" She smirked and then her stomach rumbled. "I'm . Let's go get something to eat."

Samuel nodded and got to his feet. "I promise." He smiled, heading out the door. Glancing back at her and waiting for her to follow.
