Raine smiled and followed him downstairs towards the door. "What should we have to eat?" She asked. "Oh and when do you want to move on? It probably should be sometime soon, since I am not sure when my family will come." She looked around for a place to eat as she said this.

"Then I suggest we leave after we've eaten." He replied, glanci along the street. He noticed a small tavern and gestured towards it. "This place might not be too busy."

Raine nodded and walked inside the tavern. The place was empty, only a old, heavy set man behind the bar, wiping a glass. Raine looked around, noticing no one else was in there.
"Well you were right, it wasn't busy at all."
The man blinked as they entered and smiled. "Sit wherever."
Raine took Samuels hand and led him to a table near the corner. "Lets sit over there. There's a window over there and I want to look outside."

Samuel smirked then gave the man a firm nod. He felt Raine grip his hand pull him towards a table. He sat down and glanced out the window.
"What you want to eat then?" He smiled, wondering what he would have himself.

Raine looked over to him and thought for a second. "Chicken and mashed potatoes." She smiled and sat down, looking over to him and realizing that although he knew so much about her, she hardly knew anything about him. "So, Samuel. I hope you wont mind me asking, but can you tell me more about yourself?"

Samuel smirked and laughed at her almost immediate answer. He thought himself and choose a simple combination of pork and roast potatoes. He felt his stomach rumble and quickly orded before gazing at Raine with worry. He never really spoke about himself. Ever.
"Erm..What do you want to know?" He asked not too sure where to start.

[[It's okay. It takes a little while to get used to ]] "I do not know which is worse: the headaches you give me on a whim; or, the ones you give me because you are not getting your way." the grey mage snarled at a passing horse. But we are ! Starving, in fact. I am simply nagging you in the ways I know best. a voice from within his mind. "I already get headaches from being famished. With that and the one you are stacking on top of that, it is nearly becoming a migraine." the mage threw back his grey hood, ran his long, thin fingers through his silver hair and clutched at his scalp. Feed us and we will both feel better. the voice offered. "How can you be when you do are not in possession of a stomach?" the mage asked a fish vendor. We share a cranium, and thus, the same sensations and perceptions. It is quite simple, really."Whatever. Will this do?" the mage asked a tavern sign. At this point, anything will do. the voice whined. Without bothering to consider protocol, or even common decency, Silvarn threw open the door ot the tavern, causing the entire frame to shudder. The barkeep jumped to attention, the noise causing him to come very close to soiling himself. Despite this rude awakening, the barkeep still managed to flash a friendly smile at the intruder. The mage remained in the doorframe, silhouetted against the brightening outdoors. He stared apathetically at the barkeep, locking the man's eyes with his own ancient, dead ones. The barkeep's smile quickly faded, replaced by a nervous grimace. The barkeep finally shivered violently and fixated his eyes to his feet. The grey mage strode by, tersely tossing a small bag of coin on the lacquered wood bar. "Your best," the mage ordered in a growl. The mage retreated into a far corner, purposely ignoring his company. Although, that pink hair was rather intriguing. The mage continued pondering such an anomoly as he sat down made himself comfortable. She is part demon. the voice sneered. "Are you certain?" Silvarn asked the tabletop. Unlike most races, I do not have to get inside a demon's head to know what it really is. Call it native intuition. Like you able to smell out other mages, I can easily recognize other demons."And how did I not know this before?" You would be surprised at the number of little tidbits floating around up here."Now, about the half-demon?" Allow me to eavesdrop on them a little more. Although, I am guessing she is no significance. Just because her blood is from a demon realm, that does not mean it is from the demon realm we are looking for."Fantastic." the mage growled.

Samuel still didn't know where to begin. His jaw dropped slightly as he pondered something to say. He jumped round as the door frame shook and rattled the windows. He sighed and eyed the stranger carefully.
He soon turned back to Raine, one hand resting on his sword. He didn't trust the man, alreadyand he'd only been inside a few minutes.

Raine blinked at the sound that signified the new arrival. She glanced over briefly at the man and then reached a hand over to Samuel to calm him down.
"Don't worry, I don't think he is part of the Risk demon tribe." She whispered to him. Yet, she did feel something trying to probe within her aura, which made her worry. She pushed back against the probing force and focused on Samuel.
"Well, since you know about my past already, how about yours?" she asked, changing the subject seemed the best way at the time to ease his mind.

The mage grimaced and grunted as his pet demon scuttled back into his mind.
She knows, she knows! I tried to be sneaky, but she noticed me! Forgive me, Master! the demon whined, high and nasally.
"She felt your presence, that is all. She does not know who or what you are, to say nothing of your relation to me."
But, she is powerful, Master. She brushed me aside like I was a gnat.
"Well, Scorcahr, you are not the most powerful of demons. You were summoned from the least of the Three Cirlces, if I recall correctly?"
We shall discuss my lineage at another date. Right now, shall we deal with the matter at hand.
"She does not look like a threat. Besides, her attention is focused elsewhere."
But even so, Master...another demon... Scorcahr tried one last plea.
"No, Scorcahr. We will not make the first move."

He sighed, calming down a fraction.
"Where would you like me to start? My family?" Samuel asked, trying not to look over at the stranger. He chewed on his lip and began.
"According to my siblings, both my parents are dead but I've heard otherwise. I was raised by my brother first and learned the art of combat but then when I was 11 my brother vanished leaving me in the care of my sister until she perrished in the fire.." He sighed, staring at the table, his head in his hand.

Raine closed her eyes and wondered how much of an idiot she could be. She reached out to him again. "I'm so sorry I shouldn't have pried.I just wanted to know more about you...I guess." She grasped his hand into her own. "But I understand if you don't want to talk about it anymore." She pulled her hand away and glanced quickly at the new figure. He seemed to be talking to himself which she found odd. But then again she had seen weirder things. Still she wondered what he was doing here.since he seemed to be here at the same time she felt that odd presence.

The mage sat in stone, statuesque silence, his dead focused intensely on the table before him. One could almost feel his sight boring a hole into the wood. He did not even snap out of his daze when the barkeep slid his food in front of him on a platter. The mage simply lifted the food to his mouth, never blinking, his face a perfect mask of apathy.
"Alright, then. A pleasure to serve you." the barkeep could not help but add a little bit of a growl to his statement.
The mage's eyes snapped up to lock with the barkeep's, holding the bewildered man rigidly in place.
May I break his mind, please, please, oh please? Scorcahr cackled gleefully.
"No. Not worth our time." the mage blinked once and the barkeep sucked in a deep breath of air, as if resurfacing.
"You...whatever in the Blue Blazes you are...out...get out!" the barkeep stammered, clutching at his chest.
You leave my home out of this! Scorcahr shouted from within the mage's mind.
"You have neither the authority nor the power to force me to. I shall make you a deal: allow me to enjoy..." the mage glanced down at his platter, "...or, rather, wade through this...meal...and I shall leave peacefully. Agreed?"
"No. I want to see your scrawny grey frame going out my door, now." the barkeep snarled, his face livid.
"I hate to disappoint you, my good man, but..." the mage stood to stare into the barkeep's eyes again, "No one orders Silvarn Grey-Eyes around. I am my own master, a power I have earned."
"Grey-Eyes?" the color in the barkeep's face vanished in a second, leaving his skin nearly the same hue as the whites of wide eyes. "I'm...I'm sorry to have disturbed you..." the barkeep bowed and swiftly scurried away.
Silvarn sat back down and resumed feeding himself while staring intensely at the tabletop.
Our fellow patrons are staring at us. Scorcahr whined.
"Let them stare. There is nothing to see here." Silvarn growled at the chunk of bread in his hand. "Nothing to see...nothing at all..."

Too right. The mage's recent uproar had grabbed Samuel's attention more than ever. He almost jumped to his feet at the mention of the name 'Grey-Eyes'. That name was more than a curse around these parts and he now knew why he didn't trust him.
"Get out! We don't want folk like you round these parts!" He yelled, his idiocy kicking in. He glared at the man, his blue eyes seerring.

"Samuel stop it."Raine was startled by the uproar between the three men. It seemed as if she was the only sensible one of the group. "Will you all just stop making a fuss?" She had heard the rumors about the man. But she rarely believed rumors, since the ones about her were mostly false. She clenched her hands into fists and glared at them all, her purple eyes starting to radiate a small amount of energy. She instrantly controlled the anger.she sighed and turned to the grey eyed man. "I'm sorry.we don't want any trouble. I have enough demons after my own head that I don't want any more enemies."
