"Apparently, my name precedes my face. Does my fame precede my fate? Such questions we must ask ourselves." Silvarn stopped to muse while sipping from his mug.
"Regardless of philosophy, I assure the both of you, you have nothing to fear from me." Silvarn's cold dead eyes fixated on the male of the duo, "Unless, of course, you insist on bossing me around like our mutual acquaintance the bartender."
Silvarn let his gaze shift to the pink-haired female, then back to the male. "Although, I am very curious," a sinister smile spread across his deathly pale face, "what, exactly, you have heard about me." He rose from his seat and began easing over towards the two, swaying slightly like a snake. "The tales about me vary from town to town. Even tavern to tavern. Please, indulge my little curiosity."
Master, please, do not get too close to the demon... Scorcahr whined.
"Why, does she remind you of your mother?" the grey mage asked the girl's chicken.
No, not that at all. I just, sense something about her...something... the demon whispered fearfully.
"There is nothing to worry about." the mage's vacant stare snapped back into focus, turning his burned gaze on the male. "Now, what have you heard about me?" he asked with his cruel smile.

Samuel remained glaring at the man, ignoring Raine as if he could hear her at all.
"Grey-Eyes is a murderer." He growled, putting emphasis on his final word, which he spat out violently.
"Your a cold hearted muderer with only thirst for knowledge and power. You are enslaved by a foul demon, almost not of this world." He added, recalling the worst of the stories he'd heard.

Raine sighed and tried to ignore the uneasy feeling she gathered when this man was around. She knew he was dangerous. Someone she did not want to mess with. That's when she felt the familiar tingle from before. "That was you probing my aura." She said, slighly confused and looking at the man with a guarded expression. She looked away taking in their conversations and then she tensed. The door to the bar slammed open and a figure stepped inside. Long pink hair and red eyes. The older woman smirked and looked around, eyes settling on Raine. "Well well I see Laraine Lockner Risk has new boy toys." Raine glared hatefully at her Aunt Raven. "Not again..."

Angry as he was, the new woman's appearance didn't help at all. He gripped his sword tigher, holding the handle and hilt in his hands. He took a quick glance at Raine, then Silvarn and finally at the women.

"Relative of yours, miss?" Silvarn asked, his voice monotonus. "Madam," Silvarn approached the pink-haired woman, "I am sorry to disappoint you, but I am in no way connected to this young lady, this...Laraine." Silvarn glanced back in time to catch Laraine's baleful gaze at the pink-haired woman. Or, was it directed at him?
Whatever the case... "If you would kindly excuse me," Silvarn made to brush past the woman, but found his way blocked. "Madam, I shall ask you once more, politely," the mage turned his livid glare onto her eyes, "let, me, pass." he snarled.
The pink-haired woman returned his ire coolly, a look of arrogance on her face, "No one orders a matriarch of the Risk tribe around like a common servant. Especially some scrawny mortal such as you."
"Madam, we need not turn this into a brawl. It is quite unladylike,"
Demon. Scorcahr interjected.
"But, then, I suppose a demon such yourself would not have the slightest notion of what being a lady entails?" Silvarn shot with a venomous smirk.
The woman hissed, baring her teeth and raising her sharp-tipped nails to the ready. Silvarn stepped back, clenching his fist and then flaring the fingers again, enveloping his hand with blazing silver flame. Both tensed, and the demon one last snarl...

(( Umm its actually the Risk demon tribe. Not Lockner. But ill pretend you said that.))
Raine blinked as a eruption occured between the two. She couldn't help but laugh.
"Raven you don't know when to pick fights do you? This guy I'm sure could rip you apart no problem." She smirked.
Raven glared at Raine. "And what about you? I'm sure he would have no time shreading that filthy body of yours. A half demon and half witch. What were those idiots known as your parents thinking?" Raine frowned and Raven attacked the man before them. Raine reached for her wand and drew it out, pointing it towards Raven.
Raven attacked with shadow energy. Her proud element of darkness

He glared at the newest addition to the tavern, Raven, and drew his sword. At least he wasn't in as much pain as he was earlier.
He pushed his chair out of the way and stood his ground, next to Raine. "Who's this then?" He asked.

Silvarn stared apathetically at the demon as she crumpled under his might. She had attacked with a handful of claws enfused with dark magic, but Silvarn caught that hand coolly with his blazing one and crushed hers slowly, taking a small amount of satisfaction in watching her face turn from arrogant to fearful...even, pleading.
"Had you not struck at me, I would have left you with a broken body. But, no, not now." Silvarn fingers tensed, then drove forward, snapping the woman's wrist with a sickening snap. The demon cringed, but nothing more.
"You will burn in the lowest depths of the Blue Blazes, I will make sure of it, mortal." she hissed.
"If you are alive to see it through. If." Silvarn let the misty wisps of Twilight flow from his hand onto the demon's arm. The demon shuddered visibly.
With astonishing swiftness, Silvarn lifted the demon above his head with the one arm, spinning while he did so, and brought her down, crashing, into a table, splintering it to shards.
The demon gaped up at the ceiling, at a loss for thoughts, let alone words.
Silvarn smiled cruelly, "I do believe I am going to enjoy this."

Samuel watched in sheer horror as the female demon was flunged across the room with graceful ease. He cringed and let out a painful yelp as her wrist was broken. He held still, trying his hardest not too scream at the mage.
"What the 'ell are you?" He yelled, stepping back the woman crashed into the table. "What in the Blue Blazes are you?"

Raine's eyes widened at the mans show of power at her Aunt Raven. She stepped towards her fallen relative. Raven glared at the half breed. "Aunt Raven. If you are so desperate to have my head why don't you take it?" "Tch. You arrogant brat." Raven leapt at Raine with the last of her strength and clawed at her with demonic energy. Raine dodged her attack and looked back at both boys for a second. Her eyes once purple glowed a dark red before returning to their amythest shade. She met her Aunts next blow with her wand. "If either of you boys want to kill her. Do it now." Raine did want her family dead because of what they did. But also knew that Raven had upset the others. "If not. Ill kill my Aunt myself."

"Done." Silvarn snarled, his mask of apathy broken. With subtle flicks of his hand, he caught the demon in a web of Twilight while she was occupied with her niece. Stunned, she could not defend herself against Silvarn's power. Using the web, Silvarn smashed her through several tables, the bar, and into the wall behind in one linear path of destruction through the tavern. He held her frame against the wall magically, letting her lungs function only minimally.
"No one challenges me to a fight and keeps their lives. If you were human, I'd break your mind and let you start a new life. But, you are not. You demons are too resiliant to mind manipulation. So, I shall wipe your name from the Tomes of Being." He lifted her away from the wall and smashed her into the floor again. "It will be as if you had never existed." Arcs of silver energy crackled between Silvarn's fingertips, "Not even a scrap for your mate to clutch to his busom. Not even a shred for the rodents to dine upon."
He lifted her to hang suspended in midair, his face distrubingly livid. His fingers tensed and began to contract themselves into a fist, and the demon began screaming. Silver electricity flashed across her body and a thick grey mist began pouring from her facial orifices. As the demon's screams grew, Silvarn roared, mocking her.
With a sudden, vicious swipe of his hand, Silvarn banished the demon from existence in a flash of blinding silver light. Silvarn collapsed to a kneeling position, breathing very heavily.
"I am 'bastard' to some, 'heartless' to others," Silvarn answered the other man in between gulps of air, "Master of the Eight Panopolies, Forsaker of the Seventeen, Shepard of the Horizon, Harbinger of the Twilight...yes, people call me these...but, I always preferred what my mother called me," he glanced up, a slight spark of humanity in his ancient eyes, "She called me 'Silvarn.'"

He winced violently as the women screamed in sheer agony. He covered his ears and almost dropped to the ground, wanting the screaming to stop. His ears began to ring, beating loudly, high-pitched, shrill noises pouring through them.
Even after the demon had vanished, his ears continued to ring to a point he begged it to stop. The sheer power of the Twilight had affected him. He could hear his heart beat pounding inside.
"Your a monster." He stated, slowly recovering from the experience. He leant against a chair, trying to keep his balance.

Raine closed her eyes as her Aunt Raven died. She let a tear slip from he eyes down her face and onto the ground. Turning away from the sight, she walked to a table and tried to stay standing, using it for leverage. She had to keep telling herself that Raven deserved it. But it was becoming too much for even her to take. Finally Raven was gone and Raine cried.
"Damn her, Damn them all!" She threw the chair down to the ground.
After her outburst, she turned around, seemingly recovered. She looked to the man who had destroyed Raven. "Even though you didn't destroy Aunt Raven for me, I will still thank you. Those demons, my 'Family' have been hunting me for a long time, killing everyone I come in contact with. I've seen so much death with them. So many good people lost forever. They deserve every inch of pain they get." Still, Raine felt like crying again.

Silvarn staggered to his feet, his knees threatening to give way. He was used to utterly banishing humans, and banishing demons was exponentially more difficult. The combination had sapped him of most his strength. Even Scorcahr seemed weary.
Take that, you pink-haired bi-- then, with a loud, grotesque snore, fell asleep.
Silvarn shot a venomous glare at the other man, but said nothing, still concentrating on getting his breathing regulated. Instead, he watched the pink-haired girl's little tantrum.
He listened to her backstory, drinking in every word, though his face would never show that. He watched the girl's eyes get watery, then he snorted.
"Save your tears. Sadness, what a useless emotion." He resumed his regal pose, almost staring down the length of his nose at the girl, his typical permanent frown set back in place.
"However, it would appear I have 'come into contact' with you, as you put it, so I will have these demons dogging me. Now, there are two paths I can follow," he nearly swaggered up to the girl and stared into her vividly purple eyes, "I can kill you. Then, the demons might leave me alone, and perhaps even consider me an ally. However," he backed away to give the girl a little room to breath, "I now have my own personal vendetta against these, Risk demons. And, since I've slain one of their kind, I suppose that makes me your accomplice."
The grey mage took a moment to compose himself. "What I am getting at, Miss...Laraine, is it? What I am getting is," he looked at her with a twisted, mischievious smirk, "I want to help you kill your family."
