Vengeance and Lunch }{ PM Renkhal to Join

"Everyone, on the count of three, scatter and hide. I hear something and I want to see what is following us. One... Two... Three."

Renkhal jumped to one side, and squatted. He waited, and heard someone fall. That was followed by murmured voices and Nickolas moving, and then more voices. Scowling, he decided to check it out, moving through the trees and undergrowth. It was already dark, and probably pretty close to midnight. He didn't like having so many set backs as it was.

"Thanks for grabbing the weapons. We shouldn't stall too long. Who knows whether those freaking snakes will come after us or not." Nickolas said, helping Jett up and taking his weapons.

"Welcome back to the living," Renkhal said, stepping out of the trees. "And thank you for bringing our weaponry. I may have misjudged your character a little. However, the warrior sprite here is right. We need to keep going. I'll take my sword and anything else that is too heavy. We will still be following this spring until we hit the lake. From there, we take cover in the trees until Auron and Kaia catch up. If they haven't caught up by the morning after tomorrow, then we will continue without them. We'll need a day to hunt and replenish supplies anyways."

He looked them over and sighed.

"Let's get going."

They ran hard for an hour before resting for a few minutes and drinking before running again. By morning they had reached the lake, and were allowed to rest. This area was out of Orichi territory.

While the group was resting after their hour of running, Jett was out and swinging his sword practicing his boomerang throwing.

"Man what was that, I think I had a moment with Kagami; She is so cute, hot, and a nice personality. Hm, I wonder do i go up to her and say, (Hey there elfish person you're cute really uber hot, uhh wow that's bad that's real bad dude I have no woman skills). I am really excited to be with all these great warriors again. I wonder what kind of adventures we will go on?"

Jett then walked back to the camp waiting for further instructions from Renkal about supplies that are needed for the camp.

Renkhal looked through the supplies that they had; no one had food that he could see. There was very little in the way of hunting weaponry, except for Kagami's whip maybe and Nickolas carried a sling and some stones. Renkhal also carried a sling and stones, but wasn't very accurate with them. He hoped that maybe Jett was, and that the three of them could split up and look for some game while he went out and set up some traps.

Nodding, he grinned and looked at the others just as Jett returned from whatever he went off to do.

"All right, I want the three of you to go out hunting. We have two slings and two pouches of stones, and Kagami has her whip. Jett, can you use a sling, or are you good with your boomerang?" Renkhal asked.

"I'll be setting up my traps. Hopefully they catch something during the day or night before we move on."

She did want to apologize for being absent. We'll move along as I said in the text before - Kaia and Auron were separated, if Auron decides to meet up with us before she returns.
