Vor'lekar's eyes lit up at the mention of the name "Echo". The Elemental? How interesting. Quite a find this time.... "Well, I'm a talented guide. I'd be glad to offer my services. And I'm more than certain we could use a talented healer. An experiment eh? Well, I can't say I know what you mean, but if you make a wrong move, I won't hesitate to end your existence." With a sly smile and a dramatic turn, Vor'lekar turns and beckons them to follow. "This way. I think it would be wise to first find a source of water. I'm almost certain that our bull is quite dehydrated." Heh heh heh, what an wonderful turn of events. I do hope they last the journey.

I do believe these guys are idiots...well two at least. That elf worries me, and I have no idea why... She sighed and followed after him. Staring hard at his back she tried to think of a way to escape. She couldn't very well travel with three people. What if they discovered her secret? Things could get very complicated, and the light in the elf's eyes when she told him her name confirmed that he knew who she was. At least what townspeople said about her.
As they neared the water, Echo bent down to it and cupped some water in both hands, bringing it to her face and letting it slide down her face and neck. It did feel good, but she knew she couldn't stay here much longer. "Let me know when the rest of you are done. Like I said before, time is important. I have to get to the next town quickly..."
I may already be too late to save it...those murderers...

Khaz jumps into the water. The water unnaturally fell off his armor and his weapons as though protected from it. He sat on the river side and prayed silently for a few seconds then he stood up and shook the water from his horns and mane. "I think little miss that there is something troubling you." his voiced dropped low to the volume he thought only he and her could hear him "You can confide in me, this mission or task it burdens you i think? It is not my place to judge just to help those in need of help. " He pulled his golden axe from his waist and held it "even if you wish to tell me nothing just know i will spill blood for you if thats what you wish even if it is my own."

Vor'Lekar laughs heartily. "Spill your own blood at her wish eh? You are an interesting fellow. You are either very pious indeed, or simply foolish. Still, I must say, I'm interested in why you would need to hurry. I'm no saint, but I'd be glad to offer whatever services I can. Or perhaps you are too 'grown up' to accept help eh?" The elf snickers at his own jest, now turning his attention to the road again while he awaits her answer.

He had overslept, the sun was high in the sky and the early birds had stopped chirpping hours ago. His tent had been down stream and the opening had been catching a breeze all morning, probably the cause of him not awaking early enough as he hated the cold. He didn't have enough warmth with his blanket, which was made of differant hides of different animals he used for food, clothing and shelter. He rose quickly and knocked one of the support sticks from his makeshift tent over, whcih cased it to crash all around him. Beliel, you did it again. Way to go. he thought.
Beliel pulled the remains of the tent off of him and stood up. He looked around his campsite and noted his surrounding. His fire had died fully more then three hours ago, as it was still slightly smoking, his traps went unsprung as he noted not even a rabbit must have crossed the borders of his camp, and the river was moving just as it was yesterday evening. Living the life of a hermit and sell-sword was getting tedious, but it was his life. Day in and day out, the forest was all he knew. Sure, he stopped in town every once in awhile for work, but they just gave him enough money to get his equipment repaired and get some bread. If he wanted anything else, the forest provided it to him. Got a long day ahead of you...or what's left of it. he thought.
Beliel started to pack up the cover he used for his tent, dismantled his traps and poured what he had left in his water skin over the smoldering ashes of his makeshift firepit. Afterwards, he refilled the skin from the river and placed it on the ground, his shaggy hair getting into his pale and faded blue eyes. Blowing air upwards, he removed the hair from his eyes tossed his head over to the left, letting it rest above his eyebrows, but the hair was slowly moving down again, moving back to it's original position. He removed his leather jerkin from his rugsack and procced to place it over his gray cloth shirt. Subsequently placeing his leather boots on. Fishing his iron sholder pads and greaves out from his pack, he slipped one on his left shoulder and then the other on his right shoulder, as the black leather belts that bind them made an 'X' across his chest. He finally buckled his greaves to his shins.
Adjusting his black cloth pants and slipping his belt through the loops, he attached his swords scabbard to the belt. It was a basic scabbard, iron lipping over the leather overlay, and a iron cap at the bottom to hold the leather in place over the iron scabbard. He then slid the steel long sword into it's place. There was nothing special about the blade, but the pommel of the hilt had the insignia of Armanda's Mercenaries on it. It was only fitting since he was a part of them for two years.
Before leaving, he grabbed his water skin from the bank of the river and slipped it over his right shoulder, like a messanger bag. He finally did a supply check of his bag. Let's see here. Flint, tinder, whetstone, tent cover, bow, arrows, blanket, good to go. he thoguht as he slipped the rugsack over his back and started off up stream...towards the group he didn't quite see yet.

Echo sighed and looked up at Khaz and replied. "I'm coming." She then turned to the elf and frowned. "You shall soon understand the reason why I wish to hurry, and if those rumors about me are true." She smirked a little, then ran off on the road. She followed them, hoping to find a way out of the forest soon.
That was then she noticed another person walking towards them. She blinked slightly but continued to walk, all too well that the man would notice the parade of strange individuals trailing after her.
Then again, I'm more strange than any of them...

As Beliel progressed along the river's edge, he noted a small group of people walking in the same direction as him, but they were on the opposite bank of the river. One looked like a small boy, another looked elven, the big guy looked to be some kind of minotaur, and the last looked like some kind of cross breed between a bird and human. All looked capible of standing their ground if they had to fight, and Beliel didn't have any qualms with them. This forest was no one's property, so he kept his tounge still.
Since his young years, he didn't really trust anyone around him. With being abandoned as a child, and being accused as a spy inside the mercenary group he was part of for a couple of years, people and life weren't on the best terms with him. As he passed the group, he kept his gaze forward and one hand on the pommel of his blade, incase they were hostile and attacked.

Vor'lekar had been long contemplating the bird girls words. Scientists? What strangeness is this. I had not thought this particular plane so advanced yet... Shaking these thoughts from his head, he turned his attention towards the newcomer. "Who do you suppose that was? Don't suppose there whould be any fun in asking do you?"
