"Quit your pouting and keep up. As for you, fisherman, I'd watch that temper, or at least fix that stance." Vor'lekar gave him a mocking wink before turning to Echo. "I do believe Kotori may have some sense in her though. I've been tracking footsteps out of curiosity. I got the impression you were looking for someone, but if you wish, we will simply head towards the village. It must indeed be more urgent. At least there I can find some food perhaps and some rest."

"How about I fix your face?" Beliel muttered under his breath. He just couldn't go al willy-nilly and help random people he saw in the world, that could just get him dead one day. He had enough common sence to know when something was off about people. It was like his sixth sence, but that was only for accepting jobs for money, not for strangers.
None the less, Beliel decided to follow the group...out of sight of course. He sheathed his sword, picked up his net and put it back in his rugsack, and swung the bag over one shoulder, slipping his other arm through the vacant hoop. He many years of hunting, tracking and stalking would help him with this. He walked into the brush and started to follow them from the other side of the river, while keeping himself hidden in the brush. He would have to finsd someway to cross the river silently and out of sight if he really wanted to track them.

Echo kept herself at a distance from the few companions she traveled with. She figured they would know soon enough what was going on. She looked over at the elf and Khaz as well as the half bird. "The reason I am going to the next town will be evident soon enough. In fact the people I am seeking would be at this town." She clenched her fists against her sides as they walked.
After a while they finally seemed to escape the forest. Echo looked relieved and then saw what she dreaded. The closest town in the distance, was on fire.

Vor'lekar had to try very hard to hide a smile. Suffering and death amused him greatly, and there were few better at it then humans. One of their few admirable traits in fact. "Well, are we going to stand here gawking at destruction or go look for survivors?" Though he was more concerned with a potential meal then any surviving humans, he still didn't want to be caught unawares by any lingering bandits or the obtuse fisherman. To add to the urgency of his point he began to run ahead of the group.

Khaz looked upon the city and begin pray "Aldis protect those who are still alive in that inferno and please guide those souls to the resting place" His body covered itself in a slight glimmer its like when you looked at him someone was distorting your vision. he smiled knowing his god was giving a way to protect himself .

Airkhasiel barked as the angry hot fire around her flared. She could smell the stench o, boiling blood around her and the sweat of humans over powering her sense of smell. Airkhasiel was fearful, turning back into an elf was no good option for she would just die quicker, for it would be easier to run as a black retriver, her coat untouched by the stains of black soot but her pink paws were covered in it. Airkhasiel knew she wouldn't be able too fly out so she stayed put. Ever so faintly hearing the sounds of traveller's voices in the distance Airkhasiel kept barking. Desperately hoping that one of them would hear her and get her out of this burning hell-hole.

Vor'lekar burst into the burning house, the heat forcing him to back up momentarily. He looked around momentarily, making sure no one was around to see him. He heard a dog barking somewhere nearby, but he paid it no heed. Following the scent of human suffering, he made his way upstairs. In the corner, he spied a father attempting to shield his son from the blaze. The man saw Vor'lekar, and cried out for help. "Please, we won't last much longer in here." the man begged. "Well then, I must hurry mustn't I?" Vor'lekar have a sinister grin, except that it didn't stop at the edge of his mouth. It continued to grow, tearing through the flesh of his cheeks. His body began to swell as his bones enlarged. At the climax of his grotesque transformation, Vor'lekar broke loose from his vessel, causing gore to spray in all directions. The man scream and tried to shield his son with his body, but Vor'lekar, shoved him aside easily. He preferred blood with some youth after all. His macabre feast was short, but sustaining, and he turned his attention to the man. By now the man was paralyzed with terror, and made no resistance to Vor'lekar as he seized his newest puppet. Slowly, Vor'lekar's bones shifted and shrank, crawling down the mans throat, until there was nothing left. The body shook, and twitched momentarily, before assuming a natural posture. Vor'lekar smiled, before taking on what assumed would be the proper expression of a man who had just lost everything in a fire, and ran from the house in search of the other adventurers.

Airkhasiel's vision was hazy from the heat as the strange bird figure took ahold of her. She did not fight the strange girls hold but embraced it. Suddenly the building collapsed once the girl took Airkhasiel outside, she yelped then realising that somehow they were off the ground. She was in shock but would weep later. Although her vision was still hazy and didn't know what to expect, Airkhasiel trusted this girl and as a dog's gresture of appreciation she licked the bird girl's face as if to say thankyou, shortly after fainting in the girl's arms.

Vor'lekar had hope to gain some wounds for his body, but it was going a bit far. He didn't want to have to abandon this body and find another. Stumbling about in the flames, Vor'lekar spotted the minotaur priest. Sensing his chance he stumbled forward crying out for help before collapsing to the ground.

(I hope you guys don't mind one more character)
The nameless master could smell the sour scent of burning in the distance, near end of the forest. he pondered to himself, whether or not he should go investigate. Yet with the clouds, filled with heavy rain droplets floating above him made him ponder. The monk decided to go investigate anyways. He walked through the forest, holding prayer beads in his hands, hoping if someone is trapped, that someone will survive. He was told that a Daoist immortal could perform the task of making it rain heavily. Too bad he was slightly Buddhist and not Daoist, nor was he immortal, Although he would rather live a mortal life than live in pain and agony of watching people die, while he lives. while his right hand was holding his prayer beads, his left hand was holding the pommel of his qi sword, just incase the fire is a warning.
