[Elf Prince Tekkarro]

Gilashi laughed at this man's meanial threats and hasty retreat. He flicked the spikes in front of him as they crumbled. "Coward, go run and play with your toyss ya friggin baby!" He laughed loudly once more when he was interrupted by a weak voice behind him. He smirked. "So your Ms. Half-Breed? Well let me put it this way. In the Elven world There are several gods and four devils..." He outstretched his arms wide and laughed. "I'm baddest of the bad! Maddest of the mad! The most evil son of a wench you've ever seen...but hell, you can call me Gilashi..." He grinned and began picking his fangs with his long black claws examining the girl. "Ya see sweetie, back long ago me, my borthers, and my pops ikinda got tired of this whole humanity thing. So tried wiping it out. Well of course the gods couldn't leave well enough alone and they helped the friggin elves defeat us. i mean come on, if we destroyed this dust spekck wed be doing them a favor! But I digress....stopping us came at a price...I don't give up...So The elf sacrificed himself and his son, That's James by the way, To contain me in his body. Think of us as Room mates...."Gilashi once again laughed hysterically before his eyes went wide and he doubled over in pain. "Oh come on! I was just about to have seconds!"

James stood back up, looking down at his body covered in blood and the clothes torn. He saw Rained but he looked away with shame. Disgusted with himself he beagn to walk away.

"James, wait." Raine grasped his hand once more, trying to stop him from leaving. "Look at me." She said to him, walking in front of him and into his eyes. "James, I know that devil isn't you so its okay." She smiled to him gently. "Don't worry I don't think of you any differently. Besides, despite how evil he seems that demon inside of you did help me. Whatever his intentions were I don't care, but he drove away those demons who were going to kill me. So I at least want to thank you both." she laughed a bit. "Besides, this makes life more interesting wouldn't you say?"

[Elf Prince Tekkarro]

James shook his head pulling away slightly. "Intentions? His intentions were to kill anything and everything in sight! He would do anything to gain full control of my body, but he only gets out in dire situations where my emotions peak!" he clenched his fists fighting his hatred for himself. "Interesting? I was locked away in the dungeon of the kingdom for years, never seeing the light of day, never playing with the other children. PRivate tutors, never seeing my father or my mother, and now that they have both died and my brother is gone, they expect me to rule? Acting as if my curse didn't cause them to treat me like scum?" His eyes temporarily glowed red as a hint of silver tinted his hair. but he took a deep breath and stopped shaking as he ran his fingers through his hair calming down and reverting to normal. "No...I guess your right...Curse or no he can be useful...now let's get tot he inn." and witht hat he began walking again.

Raine sighed following behind him and gazing at his back. This boy seemed to be deeply distressed of what happened through his life. She remembered when she was around that age and what had happened to her. They finally reached the Inn and Raine gazed around at it. "Well gotta say this is pretty good. At least it will give me a place to rest for the night. Thanks a lot for this again James."

James nodded looking silently around t the night sky, trying to come up with something, anything to say. To apologize for what happened, or an excuse for accompanying her wherever she fled to next. But the only words he could find were, "It's fine. Anything to help a fellow outcast." He opened the door for her smirking halfheartedly. "I suppose this is where we go our seperate ways. I wish you luck with your situation, and I bid you a goodnight. Try not to get yourself killed, eh?" He laughed and kept the fake smiled on his face.

Raine looked behind her at him as she walked into the Inn. She turned and smiled lightly. "Well, if that is your wish James I wont stop you." She smiled. "But I had wished to spend a bit more time with you..."

What am I doing? if he gets any deeper into my mess it could...

She tilted her head to one side. "But you probably don't want to get any deeper in this mess. So I guess this is goodbye.."

Without letting her finish James leapt at the opportunity and entered through the door smiling. "Weeeeeell, since you asked so nicely, I'd be honored to accompany you. Afterall, seems your in a bit of trouble and it is kind of my business to help others." He laughed an turned around. "I know you may have only seen Gilashi, but I'm a pretty handy fighter too...watch this." He grinned and without turning around, with the blink of an eye James had drawn his sword and thrown it across the room where it stuck in the wall inches from the innkeepers gray haired head. He simply sighed. "It's kind of getting old Mr. Tekkarro. James just laughed and shrugged walking up to the counter. "Well maybe if you rent out my room again I'll be careful to aim a little better next time..."He joked, as he pulled his sword from the wall sheathing it and grinning at the mans fear of his empty threat. "You have another customer, you can thank me later." James gestured to Raine to come forward grinning.

Raine stepped foreword, "Hello, my name is Raine. If possible I would like a room." She pulled from her waist a pouch of money. "Money isn't a option either. I just need to stay a night or two."

The man seemed surprised at this but took the money and gave her a room key. She smiled and took it from him. She turned back to James with a grin. "Well, I'm good. Do you know a place to eat around here? I'm starving."

James crossed his arms and laughed at the formality of how Raine adressed the man but he decided she was simply stressed from her situation and all that had happened. He shrugged as she inquired about food. "Well most places would be closed by now...but if you were to trust me enough to accompany me to my lodgings I could cook you something. In fact whatever you would wish to eat." He grinned and poked her forehead playfully. "Living in a dungeon, you have to learn to cook for yourself." he whispered, grinning

Raine slightly blushed as he poked her head, but looked back up at him and smirked. "Well now. I suppose I do trust you." She said walking close to him. "Lead the way, James." she whispered slightly, her arm extending to let him walk before her.

James laughed lightly and ascended the steps. They came to a door and as he opened it he revealed the rather humble and simple room rented out, a bed, a few paintings, a fireplace and of course a stove and the like. The inn was simple but efficient and that is all he asked for from his lodgings. That and the hopes it would not be rented out to another once more. He smiled and opened his arms. "So, what is it you desire eh?"

Raine thought for a second. "How about stew? Any kind would be fine, though right now I'm craving beef stew." She grinned, pulling her hood down and once again revealing her long pink hair. She looked for a place to sit and sat down on the bed, finding no chair nearby. "To be honest since I'm on the run so much myself I can cook a bit. But I would like to try someone else's cooking besides my own every once in a while." She grinned and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.

"So how long you planning on staying here anyways?"

Smiled smiled back at her. going to a small crate and starting to forage through it. "Beef stew it is then." He laughed as he began to pull out a large metal pot and some dried preserved meat, along with an assortment of vegetables and strangely shaped and colored herbs. He laid them all out before him on a long strip of cloth as he organized himself and he shrugged at Raine's question. "I'm not sure. I'm more of a traveler now. Go form place to place, finding those who need help, and giving them it. That's why I don't want to be ....you can't help anybody, or know anybody personally. Everybody is a number, I want to know names, and know for sure how I'm helping..." he explained as he took a jug of water and poured it into the pot, after snapping his fingers and lighting the fire inside the stove. "Bless Flameng." he muttered as he began to add the ingrediants.

Nodding, Raine watched him cook her meal in silence. "I plan to leave tomorrow night. You can join me if you wish. But I do have to warn you, the demons I face are quite strong. Richard is one of the weaker demons of my family. Not only that, but it appears a bounty is on my head." she laughed a bit. "They really go over the top, that family. So much trouble for one halfbreed." she snapped out of her trance and shrugged. "Anyway, I figure I should let you know what your getting yourself mixed up in before you make your final decision. I'm also surprised with as much as you hate that demon inside of you, you trust me."

James turned to face her leaning against the stove, smirking slightly as he allowed the stew to boil. "Listen Raine. I've been warned multiple times about many things. But I'm sure that what I'm getting into I want to be a part of. I know your in danger, and theres a bounty on your head, but hey that's why I'm helping isn't it? Nothing you can say will change my mind. Your stuck with me until your safe now." He laughed and smiled kindly at her before turning back to add the herbs to the pot. As he crumbled them to dust in his hands and delicately sprinkled them over the stew, it glowed and immediately stopped boiling as it cooled to a perfectly warm temperature, bearable enough to eat without discomfort and still appreciate every flavor of the stew. He grabbed a bowl and filled it with stew while taking a silver sthingy from the crate and placing it in it. He walked over to Raine smiling as he kneeled down. "As for the trust? I don't know...but something about you makes me want to trust you. To protect you. Like a long lost friend or something. I have a demon in me, but I'm still an okay guy. And if you are this kind to me, that's enough for me to not doubt you." he explained as he offered her the soup.
