Kagami was waking up. Nickolas looked down at her and saw her smile. He felt his face warm up, and looked around to keep her from seeing.
"Wha...what happened? Where are we? What happened to you? And who is that guy?"
Nickolas frowned. What happened to him? Then he remembered that his back was scraped up, and it was probably visible without his shirt. He picked up the shirt and sighed with he saw that it was also torn a little.
"You remember the attack, right? Well, after you fainted I brought you here to keep you safe."
He nodded toward the other guy.
"He was here when we got here."
As he slipped his shirt back on, he contemplated telling her about his scratches, but decided to pretend he didn't hear that question. It wouldn't be that big a deal, right?

"Damn It!"
Auron yelled slapping the water with his fist. thinking to him self, why would those horrible creatures be in his part of the forest. it was law that they should not be there. Auron began looking at his bottom left arm. it was worthless broken almost to pieces if the skin was not there it would have fallen off. after a bit the area around him grew silent.
"now what?"

Kagami looked around confused. "My head hurts.." she grumbled to Nickolas as she frowned. She looked at the other guy and searched the cave floor around her, finding a long stick. Kagami began poking at the strange man. Still facing Nickolas she said, "Your back is bleeding... what happened? Did the hounds get you too? We'd better fix you up..." Kagami looked up at Nickolas with a worried look on her face. The blue man Kagami was poking twitched and she giggled.

Nickolas blushed; he had really hoped Kagami wouldn't talk about his back. He didn't want to explain how he got her in here through that small hole while she was unconscious. However, since she had asked it would only be right to answer.
"No, as soon as you passed out I brought you here. I didn't want you to get hurt in case those hounds got closer," he told her. "As for my back... Well, I scratched my back on the rocks at the opening while I was getting you in here."

Finally, the Hellhound died and Renkhal was able to get his sword. He pulled it from the thing's throat and looked at the blade in disgust before going to the lake, setting down the sword and removing the sheath and his boots before getting into the water. He removed his clothes while in there, cleaning each article before tossing it onto the rock he was leaning on before. When he was naked, he cleaned himself before getting out and dressing in his spare clothes and cleaning his sword.
Once that was done, he looked at the other set of clothes. It would be a few hours before they were dry, so he looked around for Auron; maybe he would watch his things while he went to set some traps and get the other two.
The snake man was nowhere in sight.
"Auron! I'm leaving my clothes here! Watch it while I go set some traps and get the youngling and the girl!" he yelled, hoping the other man heard him before he strapped on his sword and shouldering his pack before starting off into the woods. He didn't think anyone would steal his clothes anyway, but his pack has some important items in them in case Auron chose not to listen or didn't hear him.

Appearing behind Renkhal Auron reaches to tap his shoulder
"we shouldnt split up for your safety. I need you to cut this off"
Auron holds up his bottom left arm its as if its about to fall off already.
"Im going to lay it next to this rock swing as hard as you can... it will take a couple try my scales are tough"
Auron leans over to a rock stretching the mutilated arm over it
"go ahead do it"

Renhal nearly jumped out of his skin when Auron tapped his shoulder.
"we shouldnt split up for your safety. I need you to cut this off" Renkhal looked at the arm that Auron pointed to. "Im going to lay it next to this rock swing as hard as you can... it will take a couple try my scales are tough"
Renkhal was dubious, even as Auron leaned over a rock with the arm stretched across it.
"go ahead do it"
He looked at Auron; he was serious! Gulping, Renkhal drew out his sword and gripped it tightly before getting it ready over the arm.
"Are you sure about this?" he asked tightly.

Auron sighs,
"no i just want to have a bum arm for the rest of my life...GET RID OF IT!"
he yells at Renkhal, while pointing at his arm.

Renkhal winced at Auron's tone of voice, but did as he was told.
He brought the sword up and swung down as hard as he could, repeating this until the arm was severed.
"There, happy?" he grumbled, turning and wiping down his sword before sheathing it. "Do we need to bandage that, or can we go straight to the cave now?"

yawning while waiting for Renkhal to take care of the assignment Auron has just given him

"no I'm not like you humans who need bandages for a small boo boo. now lets go find the those amazing warriors your talking about"
Auron makes in a obvious sarcastic tone
"do you know where the cave is? or do you want me to sniff them out?"

"I know where the cave is; I told them about it!" Renkhal snapped. "And I never called them amazing warriors, I just want to make sure they're okay."
He grumbled and walked off toward the trees, leading Auron toward the cave.
As they reached the cave, he could hear Nickolas talk about scratching his back while he was getting Kagami into the cave, and sighed. Leave it to the kid to get hurt doing something so simple.
"Hey, guys - Is everything okay in there?" Renkhal asked. "The Hellhounds have been taken care of. If no one is hurt, let's get back to the lake. I left my other set of clothes there to dry, and I want to get to the far side by nightfall."
Not that Renkhal thought he would be able to, but it was a nice goal to aim for. He'd be lucky if he made it by midnight at the rate they were going.

"Morons! that cave is no safe place! Get out of it now! I'm surprised your not dead already! Renkhal get them out of that cave i will find something to seal it!"
Auron runs off in another direction.

Renkhal watched Auron run off, surprised at his near panicked state.
"All right, I guess I'll work on getting them out..." he grumbled before taking off his back and sword and manuevering inside. He looked around a gulped. Of course there was a reason he had never come in here, he hated bats. And he was looking right up at twenty pairs of eyes that belonged to the damn things.
Looking around, he saw Kagami poking another man who was obviously injured. He sighed and pulled her to her feet, harsher than he meant to be.
"You, get out of here. Follow her," he told Nickolas, pushing Kagami with his pack and sword toward the entrance. Glancing up at the bats, he gulped again and looked at the man before mumbling, "Great, a Night Elf. I've never liked them much." Still, he lifted the guy and dragged him out carefully before resting him on the ground a good thirty feet away.
It was then that he looked around for Auron before looking at the Night Elf's wounds and treating those that he could.

Jett awoke and looked around examining the others before him. "WHO are you people and how did you get here? Do anyone of u have lunch im famished. Ah where are my manners im Jett a Nite Elf and just in case you were wondering i hate bein blue." Jett felt around his body feeling for his boomerang... Bummer he thinks he lost it. "Hey who wants dibs to come with me back to the cave to help look for my rang."

Nickolas was shocked when he heard Renkhal's voice, but it wasn't until the older warrior came in that he realized he wasn't hearing things and that the fight really was over. Renkhal pulled Kagami up, and Nickolas almost snapped at him to be more careful.
"You, get out of here. Follow her." Renkhal said. Nickolas scowled but moved to do as he was told, taking the sword and pack that Renkhal handed to Kagami so that she didn't have to carry it. He heard the other warrior mumbling about Night Elves as they left, and a few minutes later the cave was empty and they were standing outside.
He opened his mouth to tell Renkhal off, but was interrupted as the Night Elf awoke.
"WHO are you people and how did you get here? Do anyone of u have lunch im famished. Ah where are my manners im Jett a Nite Elf and just in case you were wondering i hate bein blue," he said as he searched himself for something. "Hey who wants dibs to come with me back to the cave to help look for my rang."
Nickolas stared at him a second. How does one hate their own skin color?
"You probably shouldn't move," Nickolas said. "I'll go in and look for your, er, 'rang' if you want. As for food... I might have a little bit of jerky left in my pack."
Nickolas reached into his pack and pulled out a folded piece of cloth, revealing three pieces of jerky, and held it out to Jett.
